yeah you're right, it's always a big help for moms or dads carrying a baby for travel. I believe the producer of this products made sure that the baby would be comfortable when they're placed inside this carrier and of course you don't wanna let your baby just hang there, you should support it with your hands... so I don't see any problem about it..

you clearly never use one of those...
actually, it would help a lot to carry your baby for an extended period of time IF YOU KNOW HOW to properly use it...
you dont let your baby hang there by himself!!! are you nuts? you still use your hands for support, just like how you carry your baby with out it!
the difference is you can let go of your baby one in a while(not always) safely.and it significantly reduce the weight that you actually carry...
