In the recent interview with Ayers, his book cites Obama as a family friend. And, if Obama truly despised Ayers, he should have said "UNFORTUNATELY, I had to sit on a board with that guy!" He didn't "attend" a party, his career was launched there. If he didn't like "associating" himself with Ayers at that point, he should have made it quite clear. And, Ayers is not his only problem.

Bill Ayers IS a highly-regarded expert in education. Yes in his past he was involved in a "radical organization" in protest to the war in Vietnam. Ayers never killed anyone, he did however plant bombs and destroy property. He was not involved in the Brinks robbery that killed people, that was another person who had been in the Weather Underground acting independently from the group after they were no longer active. I met Bill Ayers in 2005, his passionate words moved our group to tears, Enough!

It's not the he was 8 when the bombings took place. It's that he was in his 30's & 40's when he CHOSE to befriend them. Ayers' wife introduced Michelle and Obama when they all worked at Sidney law. He launched his political career with a fundraiser in Ayers' home. They attended his wedding and baptism of his children. He was hired by Ayers to pass out a $5 million dollar grant.
The fact that Obama's only executive experience is when he was hired by a TERRORIST frankly scares me!

Obama got to know Ayers because they were both involved in a major project to improve Chicago's schools, and they were neighbors. Obama held a fundraiser for his first political campaign at Ayers's home.
McCain got to know Charles Keating because there were opportunities for the exchange of large campaign contributions for political favors related to questionable real estate deals & coverup of massive banking fraud. They vacationed together in Keating's private jet.

The reason this is relevant again today is that Obama's relationship with Ayers as it pertains to the Chicago Annenberg Challenge has only recently been discovered. Ayers authored the request that brought the AC to Chicago and Obama was selected to distribute $50 million dollars on behalf of the CAC. Some of the money went to radical leftist groups such as ACORN and Jeremiah Wright's hate filled church. Yet Obama wants us to believe that this is just a guy that lives in his neighborhood.

Bill Ayers hurt America. You celebrate that? In your world he is a hero? I wonder if you would feel the same if your family was affected. Would you say the same of other people who only seek to hurt?

Dummy, do you think that The Weathermen or The Klan hurt America more? If you think its The Weathermen, you have some sick sick issues if you think it is the former, rather than the latter. So, if we are guilty by knowing someone or by serving on some board with them, say the US Senate, then we all associate with then we all associate with the most horrific domestic terrorist group in AmeriKKKan history!!! So your argument on Ayers and Obama is pointless!!

I say the Klan. Do you think we sould indite thr entire Senate? Of course not that's silly. Byrd is not running for prez. If he was, surely we would grill him on that.
