Ainesis listen first God tells us not to say in our heart about who's going to be in heaven and who's will be going to hell and also He also brings up that (in Act ) that if they are not who they say they are as for being God's people then they will be destroy and scatter. Also I want to bring this to your attention insteed of you singleing out well know people or celebrities are are pasting judgement on them and also when you use the God's word too. Keep His commandments & follow His laws
@MrTyronewilliams80 I have no idea what you are talking about. No one has said anything about who is going to hell. I don't care if someone is a celebrity or not. Why are such idols so important to you? The truth is the same for all, no matter how one may be esteemed by the world. Only those who have been born again can keep God's commandments, and only such are equipped to judge righteous judgment. I leave you with these words, "Repent! And stop trying to justify error."
That mess he wrote in that book "Act like a woman, think like a man" is the WORST mess I've heard and further lets you see he isn't Christ minded nor Christ's at all. He tells ladies to sleep with men after 90 days! That is against God's Word. If you think like a man as a woman, you're a hybrid. You're a woman with a hard manish spirit in you and you need to be born again to make you right again. Steve is destroy women with that silliness and they're eating it up like cake
@KakkoiGuy1 ....steve is prob referring to woman who aren't celibate, just because we may try to live by God's laws doesn't mean that every other woman out there is... so this is a way for them to protect themselves regardless. I grew up without protective male figures around me to teach me about men. steve's book teaches woman to be a lady but also know how men think, so that we won't be bamboozled into anything
@nicoleayanna Then he shouldn't claim to be a Christian. The basis for truth for a Christian is the word of God and God does not change His laws to accomodate our disobedience.
If Steve is going to be "of the world" and offer remedies "from the world" for those who are "in the world", such is his right. But anyone who is a friend of the world is an enemy of God (James 4:4). No Christian is going to encourage a woman to fornicate, which would send her to Hell if not repented of.
Rev 3:15-16 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.
We have to repent for the things that we do and turn away from them. GOD is very serious about the way HE wants us doing HIS work. You can not serve 2 masters, either you serve GOD, or you serve the devil. It can be done. You have to repent and ask for the full faith to be washed clean of your sins!!!
evil shall always pervail on this earth as long as there is good. but when we die is when we go to are eternal resting place those who where pure of heart and beilives jesus christ is the messiah shall be rewarded beyond description vice versa for evil men who deny god and christ as the messiah. sounds crazy but its true
i don't understand if you sawl the whole thang you hear steve say that he is new to this
so why criticise this always looking to pull someone down.romans
2:1 1 Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest: for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest doest the same things. 2 But we are sure that the judgment of God is according to truth against them which commit such things.
@four1rent Please excuse me if I am less than tactful in answering you, but I am rather fed up with false religion masquerading as true Christianity.
"Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? And if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters?" I Cor. 6:2
"Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment." John 7:24
"But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man." I Cor. 2:15
@four1rent The only one Scripture commands not to judge is the hypocrite.
This video is not about Steve, but the church folks cheering him on in spite of the falsehoods he espouses. If someone is a "new" Christian, then they should not be given a platform to preach (I Tim. 3:6). And if they do, they should be corrected if their words are false, deceptive, and unScriptural,
But how many people actually know the Lord or love others enough to speak the truth? Very few, as your comments show.
@Ainesis3 rom14:1-4-10-13 James 4:11-12 (quote:But how many people actually know the Lord or love others enough to speak the truth? Very few, as your comments show)
you don't know me and so you judge on what i write?
better look within yourself and get rid of that bitterness .
@four1rent Better stop twisting Scripture, look within your heart, and repent so you'll stop justifying heresy.
For every tree is known by his own fruit. For of thorns men do not gather figs, nor of a bramble bush gather they grapes. A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh. Luke 6:44-45
PEOPLE GIVE IT A REST!! It is not your responsibility to decide who's saved &who ain't. Any real Christian (or anyone that actually read the Bible) would know that NO ONE is spot free. King David (a man after God's own heart {1 Sam. 13:14;16:7; Acts 13:22}) was a murderer, an adulterer, a whore (if I can be technical), and many other "bad" things. He was a man in the world, but he knew and understood God's teachings and promises. John 21:22 says mind your own business & don't worry about others!
@843babygrl It is amazing how easily and horribly people pervert the word of God in order to justify sin. It is as if they have no fear of God whatsoever.
"And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent." Acts 17:30
the truly disturbing part and what I would have liked him to speak about is why does he recommend the "90 day" program for women. The point of the interview is that he is a professing christian (a follower of the teachings of Jesus).Yet in his book he gives specific recommendations on how women should enter into sexual relationships outside of marriage;I am not being prudish. There is a difference in doing wrong & knowing vs denying. The Bible tells us how a person is to approach God the Father
@shieldsff Moat "professing" Christians are so in name only (Matt. 7:21-23). They do not know or honor the Lord but simply attempt to identify with Him for their own selfish reasons. That doesn't mean that such cannot get saved, but it means we must follow Biblical instruction regarding who to receive as a brother or sister in the Lord (Luke 6:44-45).
It is time that the church got serious about who is on God's side and who is not. Only those who do the will of the Father are His.
@843babygrl the bible DOESN'T say 'mind your own business'; not at all. We(christians) are a BODY. Because of it, we are quite encouraged to look and be part of someone else's life, and to let some other people enter in our lives. That's community; it's what the disciples did. It is what Jesus did, when he went to Samaria and talked with a woman he never knew before, when he went to Mary and Martha's house, when he had dinner with Zacchaeus, when he talked with the burglar at the cross.
I love this video, the church is lost and doesn't know where it stands. Ask the average christian to tell you about God and they'll be telling you a bunch of stuff that doesn't describe the God of the bible at all. I bet you almost all of the people in the audience agrees with Steve, Donnie himself probably agrees, how sad
The level of deception in "church" is surely high, and God said it would be so. Just keep your eyes and ears attuned to the Lord. He is faithful to guide you. He can even lead you in where to fellowship with like-minded believers.
God says the false must exist in order to show who is approved (I Cor. 11:19). Just keep letting the light of Christ shine; He will handle the rest. :-)
But for every one of those false teachers and perverters of Truth, God has raised up men who DO hold fast to His Word such as Paul Washer, John MacArthur, Chuck Missler, Ravi Zacharias, and D. James Kennedy. I advise those who are in search of true preaching from the Gospel to look up these brothers in stead of flipping on their tv sets and watching the hocus pocus voodoo doctrine of the prosperity/charismatic/faith healer movements which have NO basis in God's Word.
Who is on the Lord's side? We must choose this day whom we will serve; and not between alliances with men, but with God.
Everything stated by Steve was at odds with "What saith the Lord." So, if that is your standard - as it should be - then you have your answer. Out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks.
The point is not where these two men are coming from, but why no one could lead this man to Christ - truly. But then, that actually takes someone to love him.
The standard for truth is not what men say or think or feel, but the word of God. There is also a difference between "looking down on others" and speaking the truth. If one believes that correction is looking down on someone, then how do you ever love someone enough to bring them out of a delusion and into the truths of God?
Study Jesus' example. He never pretended that those who don't know God really do. He loved them enough to remind them of God's word and urge them to submit to it.
Listen, I didn't think for a second you would shift your point of view. It's obvious that you are heavily invested in it - or you wouldn't have taken the time to edit an entire video (with music you either composed or used with permission, right?). After being raised Southern Baptist and THEN getting saved, I realized it would take a lifetime to learn how to love God and love people. So, I bless Steve and I bless you.
It is not about "my" point of view, neither is it about your personal religious experiences, but the word & will of God. Any "blessing" coming from a perspective other than that can be kept by the sender.
@Ainesis3 Very good vid, my friend. Those professing Christ in word and who do not diligently study THE Word, will always misinterpret the actions of those who reach out with the Truth to correct those in delusion and error. The reason we have Benny Hinns and Mike Murdocks and Todd Bentleys and Rick Warrens and the Emergent Church today is because the Church has grown lax in its duties of preaching boldly from the Word of Truth.
Amen! People have created their own religious idol of Jesus that bears no resemblance to the true Word of God. As a result, they have a worldly perspective if Christianity that is a perversion...even while claiming to be a Christian. It is an abomination and travesty, but God is able to open the eyes of those who seek Him in sincerity so that they can move away from such darkness and truly into light.
If your life is in that good of order then I surely don't mind this post being on here. But if it's not, then you must delete this video immediately. Because not even Jesus claimed to have it all together when He was here on earth.
Good grief ... how sad that someone felt the need to use "hunt and peck" Scripture to tear someone down. His testimony was one of the most authentic I've heard in years. No wonder Jesus hated religion and only had harsh words for the leaders ...
Jesus hated the religious leaders because they were hypocrites who claimed to serve Him, but in their actual lives denied Him.
Steve's testimony was certainly sincere, but still sincerely in error nonetheless. How sad that someone would choose to give ear to emotional pleas devoid of truth instead of caring enough about the person to hope he would receive the truth that saves.
This video is just trying to tell us to know what we say, and going off of a 3000+ year old belief that has roots in beliefs 1000's of years prior to that makes it almost impossible for one, man/woman/ or talking monkey, to get it right. Unless the supreme creator himself conveys a direct message, we will probably get it wrong.
And that is what salvation makes possible: direct messages conveyed by the supreme Creator Himself.
"My sheep recognize my voice; I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they will never perish. No one will snatch them away from me." John 10:27-28
Mat 7:1 Judge not, that ye be not judged. Come on, no one can judge anyone. If the Holy Spirit is against the way Steve ministers He will change him, He won't chase him away. God works in mysterious ways. Jesus knew Judas but He chose him as a dicipels because he had a role to play. How do you know what Steve's purpose is. God bless you, author of this video,God bless Steve Harvey for what he is doing.God came to a lost world. Remember where you were before God came to your rescue, He loves us
But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man. I Cor 2:15
You should seek to understand Scripture in context. Matthew 7:1 is directed to hypocrites, not to the righteous (verse 5).
God never calls on the world to minister to His people. You are right in that God will not chase Steve away, but he must repent and be born again. All who do not will be rejected.
"Judge Not" forbade unkind, unjustified and improper censure resulting from hasty and superficial investigation, and without regard for the well being of the person, or persons, criticized.
quit tripping. a healthy man has no use for a doctor. allow steve to vventilate. since you are already saved, God is more interested in getting the lost sheep to the fold. stop judging people. you ain't God.
It is not about "being" God but "knowing" God, and you are most certainly right in that I do know Him. As such, He can work & even speak through me as He wills for His purposes...just like any other Christian. It is exactly because of the fact that God is after Steve's soul that He had me to do the video. At this moment, Steve erroneously thinks that he knows God. He needs to repent and truly seek Jesus Christ. If God didn't care, He would simply let Steve perish in his delusions.
I think Steve has a better grasp of God in some ways that you. Steve seems to know that when all is said and done it is God, he will answer to and not you or me. God is obviously changing Steve's heart from the inside. If you don't think He's working fast enough, you should take it up with Him. Sometimes one needs to just to just listen and let God do what God is doing. Nitpicking about what shoulda, coulda, woulda doesn't change or help anybody.
@cyn3100 so was what Mr. Harvey saying BIBLICAL??? we can go back and forth all day but the MAIN POINT is was what was aired and coming from his mouth GODS WORD and SOUND????? So what of the people or babes who follow the advice given..I guess its oh well? WAKE UP PEOPLE OF GOD!
If you approach people with the LAW before they understand the grace, they will never be what God wants them to be. All Steve is saying is that he's been rejected like he's being rejected right here, right now. It is the Holy Spirit who draws. It's is the Holy Spirit who changes people. To get them saved, they have to know that God loves them and we love them.
And it is the Holy Spirit who imparts the true knowledge of God, which Steve did not have. So the Holy Spirit should have convicted at least one of those "church folks" in the room to be moved by love and teach Steve the truth.
@Ainesis3 I think Steve has a better grasp of God in some ways that you.
@Ainesis3 - My pastor once said when we get to heaven, we are going to be shocked by 2 things: who didn't make it that we just knew would be there and who wouldn't be there that just knew they were the first in line. There are some people who have grown up in church and still don't know God. We don't know Steve's heart OR his lifestyle. We see and point out his faults and weaknesses, while hiding our own. What hypocrites we can be.
@cyn3100 Your pastor's right. Scripture says it's not simply those who 'profess' Him which make it in, but those who do His will (Matt. 7:21-23).
One thing we do know is that only those led by God's Spirit are His children (Rom. 8:15). While you claim that we cannot know who such persons are, Jesus says that we CAN (Matt. 12:33; Luke 6:44; Gal. 5:19-23; James 3:12). I choose to believe Him.
If you feel hypocritical, then you should repent. Otheriwse, I must be about my Father's business.
@cyn3100 I dont believe that Steve Harvey was rejected by anyone. I believe the people of God realize that he IS NOT ready to change his lifestyle, so in turn, Steve Harvey rejected God. And the people of God are not buying into his fake tearful plea. So that's why he "feels" rejected by church folk.
This man is a a freemason. This is one of the most demonic organizations that exists in the world. He most renounce this practice in order for the "Church" to accept him.
As christians, we are supposed to be able to reach out to anyone, and let people come as they are and let God work on them. We tell the truth in love. We love the sinner and hate the sin. Well meaning christians have hurt people and driven them from the church. We need to consider our ways as the Body of Christ. "the only time you should look down on a man is when you're picking him up."
Provided that they are actually coming to God and not a delusion. It is also the responsibility of a Christian to reveal to someone the True God, if they have placed faith in a false god.
It is not about looking down on anyone, but it is about showing forth the love God commands us to, even for those who are lost. To leave someone in error - believing they know God when they don't - is not love.
@grace777d well if you saying that then you kinda contradicting...when I watched this video I said what the person posted said and what YOU just said was "WE TELL THE TRUTH IN LOVE"...If Gods spirit is in you and you know righteousness you could not help but agree with how well put together this breakdown of false truths was...We always love to say somebody is judging but back to what you said "WE NEED TO TELL THE TRUTH IN LOVE" the person posted TOLD THE TRUTH so you should have said AMEN!
just pray for Steve...he obviously has a heart for God....and you don't know the deliverance he received that day...one day the Lord will exalt him...you never know... every time we see sometime like this just pray for the person...just like Donnie did...never did he cut him off nor criticize him..even when some of the stuff he was saying were questionable...that is how true children of God are to act...this video you created is informative...but I advise you above all else to keep him in prayer
"never did he cut him off nor criticize him..even when some of the stuff he was saying were questionable...that is how true children of God are to act.."
That is false. Jesus certainly never failed to criticize or correct error; nor did any of His followers. It is false to claim that Christians are just supposed to "pray". Christians are to pray, but not ONLY to pray....especially when facing something which is clearly a lie.
@Ainesis3 Steve is either not born again, or does not read the word. If I were Donnie, I would allow the Spirit of God to direct the conversation ( as always when ministering to people). I cannot begin to criticize Donnie in anyway because viewing this and being in this situation are two different things. It is very easy for us believers to throw the bible at others, but remember grace and mercy covers a multitude of sins. Donnie can teach him the right things off camera, you know
@Ainesis3 remember that even though we are growing into the statute of Christ..we are not there yet. we need to be careful that we dont act like the pharisees...you know, in this situation Donnie should be able to take him aside and teach him the word, not humiliate him in front of the people because the situation did not warrant that (just my believe)...Jesus showed mercy to many and more to those who had the right heart..but yes Steve just needs the Word..faith comes by hearing amen...
No one is saying Steve should have been humiliated.
Donnie could have stopped the show & spoken to Steve privately. He could have let Steve speak and then shared the real Gospel with him. He could have added a statement at the end of the show confirming that some of the things were false, but that he felt it more important to let Steve get that off his chest than address the error st that time.
But he should NOT have aired the show - giving Steve a platform to espouse a false gospel - with NO correction. His silence and failure to acknowledge that many of these things said were untrue was tantamount to his endorsement of those false beliefs.
Donnie not only has an obligation to treat Steve with God's love, but he has an obligation to uphold that which is true for his viewing audience AND a command to stand for truth before the Lord.
@Ainesis3 You are spot on. The word says that those that are spiritual should restore those who are fallen. I don't know Steve's heart, but this show shouldn't have aired if Donnie didn't agree.
@eteness based on the gibberish that he said, Steve is obviously not saved. there was no conviction no separation from the world. Steve still thinks he can have it both ways. that is not biblical or holy ghost inspired. Steve spoke from what he knew, i.e. the wisdom of the world. Donnie didn't say anything because he too is in the world/entertainment/church system. we should always pray for each other, but don't fool yourselves...these are wolves.
WHEW...YES LORD!! God always has a ram in the bush...I was feeling sick on my stomach to keep hearing unbiblical truths with applause....Oh the Holy Spirit gave you what to say and it was all TRUTH!!! May God bless you for speaking the TRUTH in love and seasoning your words with grace! If anyone is to get offended, let it provoke them to righteousness. The words were not mans words but the word of God, if upset you have to take it to him...WOW Awesome..Keep standing!!The Lord is soon to return!
Christ came to seek and save the lost..............transformation and renewal of your mind does not happen in one minute, the learnt are called to admonish those who are ignorant to the ways and teachings of God. When we condemn without lending a hand to uplift and teach the True way we are just as bad as the sinner who repents not. We are called to go out into all the earth and spread the gospel
13"Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You shut the kingdom of heaven in men's faces. You yourselves do not enter, nor will you let those enter who are trying to.[c] 15"Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You travel over land and sea to win a single convert, and when he becomes one, you make him twice as much a son of hell as you are." Matthew 23:13-15
I agree. That is surely what people do when they fail to stand for Jesus Christ. While Donnie was not trying to Make Steve legalistic, those who knew God surely shut the Kingdom of God in Steve's face by leaving him with his delusions about who God is. Converting people to a false image of God does not offer them salvation, but merely cements them in their unbelief.
May all who claim to belong to God cease from hypocrisy and compromise.
Why tare him down.. Pray for him.. Thats the problem!! Let everything that hath breath praise the Lord!!... At least he is making a step toward GOD!! There was a time where he wasnt doing this... Sometimes as Saints we can chase the sinner away instead of loving the sinner into the kingdom with the Love of God!! U have some good points... The word is the word!!... Dont beat him up... Pray for him.. I am sure Pastor Donnie..told him what
The video's not about Steve Harvey, but about those who know better. I am not sure about anything McClurkin may have done. I can only go by what he didn't do for that is all that is covered in the video.
WHERE does Scripture say we are to "love folks into the kingdom"? How is it "love" to let a man believe a lie instead of revealing to Him who God really is?
Many people's idea of love is really not Scriptural. If we love people, we will tell them the truth.
How else does one come to learn God except by seeking Him. That is what Steve is doing. The God I know says that He is the only Judge and only He knows the heart of a man. Instead of pointing out faullts we should pray that this man learns who God truley is and allows Him to be first in his life. There was only one righteous Jesus.
I cannot vouch for the god that "you know", but the True & Living God calls for HIS people to be salt and light in a dark world. That includes shining forth in truth and not giving credence to lies and false doctrines.
Steve was not "seeking", he was "preaching" perversions of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Such is not his fault. The blood remains on the hands of those who would know better, yet side by and leave this man in darkness...and those who continue to make excuses for such behavior.
there is no excuse for sin but he is searching and he made a point when he said we gotta have an open way to get over there you act like u always been saved its gotta start somewhere and seeing where steve came from he is off to a good start and its people like u saying what u said that will knock him off his path
The "god" Steve describes is a false god. He has yet to come to know who God is. And that is where the church should come in...and where they failed.
Of course, if your child is struggling learning how to write the letter "k", you don't jump on them with what is wrong. You encourage them to keep learning.
But NEITHER do you keep saying "Good boy!" when they are writing the letter "m" believing it to be a "k".
This video was not for or addressing Steve. Steve needs to repent and turn in faith to the true Jesus Christ and I pray that he does. If he is sincere, then God will make a way for that to happen.
This video is directed to those who call themselves the church.
Correct. We are to grow in the knowledge of the Lord once we turn to Him in faith. No one has all the answers or all of the truth, regardless of how long they have been in the faith.
Based on Steve's testimony, he is not currently "in Christ", though he appears to be seeking. Which is the ultimate tragedy of it all. That people (such as yourself) seem to have no Godly conviction for leading people to the True & Living Lord. But instead, are willing to bow the knee to "another Jesus" in order to make excuses for sin.
The bible tells us in 2Pe 3:18 But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. We are changed from glory to glory by the Spirit of the Lord. It is evident that Steve Harvey has not come to that place asof yet but, a seed had been planted since childhood, and God sees the sincerity of the heart. He says he is saved so whom God justifys let us not condemn.. Those of you who know Donnie can trust that he will mentor him.
We are not saved because "we" say so. It is God who grants salvation based on repentance and faith in Jesus Christ. He alone sees into the heart, but He tells us that we shall know those who belong to Him by their fruit.
I don't put my trust in any man. The bottom line is that not only did Donnie NOT correct him, he gave Steve a platform to speak falsehoods about God that he did not even bother to correct for the benefit of his viewing audience.
If that is an example of what it is like to "trust" Donnie, then we can rest assured that he will not address the delusions Steve spoke or lead him into knowing the True & Living God.
Do I hope that Donnie or someone does this? Absolutely. But I will not stand her and make or accept excuses from those who want to pretend that everything was fine.
What happened on that show was a DISGRACE. If that show was not the time to address those errors, then the show should have never been aired.
It wasn't the right time to correct Steve's misconceptions about God, but it sure was the right time to milk that man's pain and sorrow for the benefit of the viewing audience.
Please. The whole thing sickens me. What is more important, the ratings or that man's soul (and the souls of all the viewers who may have been misled)?
One cannot grow in the knowledge of the Lord when the "lord" one knows is not Jesus Christ, but another Jesus.
Oh I didn't see Donnie compromising the truth.. I wasn't there and didn't go back stage so I can't say what the witiness was nor can I say that Mr. Harvey is on his way to hell. hmmm
Let me just be clear. I have no patience for compromising Christianity or worldly definitions of "love" that are devoid and contradictory to the word of God.
So, believe and think what you choose, but just don't post nonsense here as I have not the stomach for it.
You don't have to quote the scripture to me I'm well aware.. the fact still remains is that you have it all tacked down if LOVE is not your motive you're a tinkling brass. I pray Mr. Harvey grow in his walk and in the fullness of what God can do for him... Amen..
"You don't have to quote the scripture to me I'm well aware"
Apparently NOT anytime you post here implying that no correction should have been given; and then covering errors with a "Holy Spirit is working on Him" delusion; only to top it off with a "we should not judge" lie.
It is not LOVE to let people believe in a delusion that will send them to Hell.
I pray that people stop compromising on the truth and stand for Jesus Christ, if they really want to be known as Christians.
Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters? I Cor. 6:2
But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man. I Cor. 2:15
Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment. John 7:24
No wonder so many in the world are damned, because of the compromise of so called Christians.
Let He that is w/o sin cast the first stone. We are called to be witinesses not judges. You don't know what God with His Holy Spirit is ministering into Mr. Harvey. None of us have made it passed the gates so be careful of the stones you throw. You were on target with the scripture but what is the MOTIVE ?
God commands the hypocrites not to judge. He commands His people to declare His truths. If you want to call that judging, then so be it.
I KNOW what is not from the Holy Spirit by the Scriptures for the Holy Spirit testifies of the truth which is written. If something is not Scriptural, then it is NOT from the Holy Spirit.
So maybe I should be asking what your MOTIVE is in trying to imply approval for anti-Scriptural delusions spoken about God.
@nooney2 I have to chime in. The focal point here is not Steve being damned to hell. It is the message that is conveyed to the viewing audience and television world who may be on the same spiritual level as Steve or beneath him spiritually.
@nooney2 With his powerful status from a worldly aspect, imagine the influence he would have. I agree that you do not bring him on a show unless you're equipped and prepared to address any falsehoods of who God is...ON THE SHOW. If you're going to allow him this platform to voice his beliefs, be prepared to give Godly correction backed by scripture through this same platform.
@nooney2 Furthermore, his statements has the possibility to have even the more mature Christians questions themselves. It's not about Steve, the man. It's about what that man is saying and what the mature Christian is not saying.
Why are People So Judgemental. we are not God. We all Have Sinned and sin daily, thats what the word says. Gods is the righteous judge. your sin may not be mine thats why we are all at the mercy of GOD. leave this man salvation in GODs hands just as YOURS should be..PEOPLE SHOULD BE SLOW TO SPEAK.. FOR HE THAT WINS SOULS IS WISE>
People are only responding to what was said, You can't become defensive when everyone doesn't weep&wail with Steve. Constructive criticism is much better than blind adulations, especially when the person is so lost,,,,,,As Steve Harvey surely seems to be.
You know, for the life of me, i will never understand how some people are willing to go along with anything famous. Common Sense is never welcome in most of these gatherings. The contradictions in most of what was said is glaring like a RED FIRE HYDRANT.
Abundant emotion is neither proof of conversion, nor of the conviction of the Holy Spirit. When a person is converted, they'll manifest the likeness of Jesus Christ in word and deed. And when one is truly sorry for a lifestyle of sin, they'll turn from it.
2Co 7:10 For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.
Praise God for this ministry sounding the alarm of repentance!
u must remeber that there are ages in ur walk with chirst he is young spritualy but held a position in the world. heres our problem again letting worldy figures be of importance. when 1 comes to god reguardless of former postion we must not place them higher than elders. y is it we look at a man new in his walk n ask to speak. guys seriously hes not the problem. its us haveing him there as if a new convert knows everthing. they dont n our elders are to guild him as he gets more intament with god
I agree. Elevation in the world does not mean that one is sound in their understanding of God. While his resume may be appropriate to gain Steve entry on to any stage, it is not the credentials needed to expound upon who God is and what He wants from His people.
We cannot give deference to error, just because the error comes from one who is "famous".
And it is so dangerous that in these perilous times, people do give vain glory and love to the famous. This can only be a warning sign of just how lost so many are.
I've heard some one once said that God meets us right where we are at, He loves enough to take us just as we are but loves us to much to leave us there. This process of sanctification is day by day and if Steve has just recently started turning towards God I think thats something to priase God for. In the mean time we can continue to PRAY for Steve and sprinkle some grace. I believe the Holy Spirit WILL do his work in him as Steve continues to seek the Lord.
I do not know. None was made at the airing of this broadcast.
Let it be known as well, that I am not condemning McClurkin. I am hoping that people understand the responsibility (and not just the privilege) of being a Christian.
He may have followed-up with Steve in private...and I pray that he did. But along those same lines, he should not have aired a broadcast that could lead others into grave error. The others who may follow Steve's errors are just as important to God as Steve is.
I agree with you and wondered if Pastor Donnie had realized it too.
There is only one Body of Christ we all are a part of.We should pray for each other (Ephesians 6,18).We all can fall but we stand up again.
Your video revealed the truth which should and will be always done!
I want to encourage you.If we see this we have the privilege and responsibility to pray for the Church of Christ and God will reveal the truth to our brothers through His Holy Spirit and salt will get its savor again.
I understand alot of the things your saying, but your also judging him on things he has said. You have to remember that he just got saved. He aint been saved all his life. GOD does know he is the creator, and he also knows he gave my mother and i the apartment were living in, does'nt mean i can't give the credit to him. You can also call it praise. They go hand and hand. GOD demands praise.
No, I am not judging "him" on the things he said. I am judging the truth of what he said...and there isn't much truth.
It is very apparent that he does not understand who God is. Can one be saved and not know God? One is not saved simply because they say they are. Jesus said we know those who believe by their fruit.
I'm Talking about things from the past. He has cursed and he has said some bad things on stage, but we can't say that he is not trying. If steve is still struggling with bad language. That means he is trying. If your not struggling with your sins then that probably means your just letting satan have his way with you. You can't expect that when you first get saved you stop every sin right away. Some things you might still struggle with, but that just means your trying not to do those old things.
Giving God "credit" means NOTHING if one does not lay down their lives and forsake their own ways for Him. A living sacrifice is what He says we owe.
If I do that, will I praise Him? Yes. But simply saying "I thank God for..." means nothing without it. It is not pleasing to God to say "I thank God for..." and then proceed to do/say things that are profane and vile.
God demands praise from a PURE heart. He rejects all else.
I straight up agree with you. Before i got saved I had a way of thinking that wen't completely against the word of GOD. But now GOD is still working on me, and i understand more than what i use to. Just pray for steve. Pray that GOD will keep working on him. Maybe he should have been corrected, I can agree. Just give it time. Steve harvey will be ok. Long has he lets GOD have his way. We can't see what goes on behind close doors.
True, but McClurkin had a responsibility not only to Steve, but to those sitting in the audience and those watching on TV to get this straight.
I am not saying confront Steve on stage. He could have stopped the interview to handle this offline, or he could have added commentary at the end of the interview acknowledging that errors were presented.
But to give Steve the platform and let him continue espousing falsehoods about God with NO correction was shameful.
Steve is being sincere, but he is sincerely WRONG. He has yet to understand who God is, how to get saved, or even what it means to serve God.
This is where the "churchfolk" failed him. Right now Steve thinks he serves God, but it is abundantly clear that he has no idea who God is, personally. "I know 'some God.' They know 'some God'". His ideas about God are way off. Such is not a matter of maturity but understanding.
They should have introduced him to the God in truth, but they didn't.
If someone you know claims to "know Jesus" and it is apparent to you that they do not, you have a responsibility to God and them to tell them the truth about who God really is. If you do not, and that person dies and goes to hell, their blood is on your hands.
It is NOT love to leave someone in a delusion, thinking they are okay when they are not. That is hatred because such people care absolutely nothing about the person.
Lastly, Christians ARE to judge. We have been commanded by God to do so. We are simply to judge righteous judgments according to God's word and not according to the opinion's of men.
Sorry for the long posts, just had multiple points to make. Thanks
I was led by God to post a video addressing the absolute shame there is - not in a man having a false understanding of the Gospel - but of a group of "believers" who cannot teach him what salvation really is.
This video is not about Steve. Everyone has a false understanding of God before coming to know Him. Yet, those who claim to know the Lord should know better. You don't applaud man's error, you show him the true way. They did not.
People also forget about the Truth, which is the only way to "get over there".
And what does "get over there" even mean? You simply have to be born again through faith in Jesus to be saved. That is not a process. That is a decision to repent and believe.
No one is "over there" but Jesus. The issue is not perfection, but a true understanding of what the Gospel is...which he did not have.
Mr. Harvey, it is only when you have Godly REPENTANCE, and faith in Jesus Christ as your Personal Saviour will you be acceptable to God. You will then have peace with God and access by faith into His grace. You can have all this and sooo much more ONLY through our Lord Jesus Christ (Romans 5:1-2)
Mr. Harvey, no one else can guarantee you salvation, or make you feel acceptable to God. No Christian or non-Christian can do this. It is only through Jesus Christ. Please understand this.
One is not judging Mr. Harvey by presenting the Truth of God's Word. In order for one to be covered under God's grace, one has to accept God's plan of Salvation. Believing on Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour and living from this initial move of faith to a life ruled by our FAITH in the work He did on Calvary for the remission of our sins is God's directive on how we are deemed just before Him.
What is wrong with so call church folks? What god are you serving? Your response is not needed at all, Revelations is the book for you. Try to heal, the Lord is called Great Counselor, because everybody needs counseling?!?!
The Lord is called many thing. In fact, He will return as the Lion of Judah to judge of sin, and such judgment begins at the House of God precisely for the reasons stated in the video...they have the greater responsibility to uphold the things of God. And in this, they failed miserably.
This response to S. Harvey is the best I've seen yet. It was peppered with Grace because it used the Word of God to shine Truth on the ignorance of Mr. Harvey about God's plan of Salvation.
Jesus indeed came with Grace, but He also came with TRUTH - because he foreknew the lies that would be spewed about Him from the lips of those who claim to know him. The bible states that one cannot love the world and God. If you love the world, the love of the father is not in you (1 John 2:15).
This man is an sonf of man, that has been transformed into an son of GOD....
Stop the madness!!!! Repent and change your self....Stop putting your mouth on other people, that God created. When you look at another person and point your finger at them your thumb is pointing right back at YOU?!? Examine yourself before you attempt to judge another
Then you ought to feel right at home in the audience with the rest of the people who applauded without presenting the truth to this man.
There is a "Christianity" defined by the world which has absolutely nothing to do with Jesus Christ; and I want nothing to do with that type of Christianity.
No the doctors are there for those that are sick! We shun people away with the audacity to do so in the name of Jesus. Who is actually confused Steve or the one who acts like that and says they are CHRISTians?
Love covers a multitude of sins. Of course u dont just freely do as will just because God will forgive me, what I am saying my friend is that His grace is sufficient when my own KNOWLEDGE, MATURITY, HOLINESS, RIGHTEOUSNESS, ANYTHING isnt enough! Only God has the right to stick u His nose at ANYBODY AND GUESS WHAT HE DOESNT!!!! Let your LOVE minister to someone Get the secular people in the church and minister to them. What hospital is for the healthy
Excellent comment, my friend. I don't know if u understand my point though. I'm not saying compromise the truth, I'm saying just as much LOVE as TRUTH. Who are we that we can prophesy TRUTH all day long and have NO LOVE. I'm and advocate of BOTH... not one or the other. Much love and bless u, my friend :)
I definitely agree with this video!!!! But we have to admit that sometimes, we church folk, can drive babes in Christ to this point... We need to teach the truth, like whats in this video, in love AND THROUGH EXAMPLE and stop LOOKING DOWN ON THE UNSAVED OR BABES AS WE ARE HOLIER OR KNOW MORE because REJECTION can drive men towards REBELLION or COMPROMISED CHRISTIAN BELIEFS AND LIFESTYLES. Yes Steve was technically wrong, but understand what he was MEANING...
sir u have to do something for me 4 i am not strong pray for me to find him the truth 4 the lie is destroying me and all i want is truth your video speak to me in someway pray 4 my people who are lost and pray 4 me to find what u have found i am tiresd of living in sin i want my freedom from the dark ones i want to be free
I love this video, we have to pray for him because he is in error. Its sad that he had a pastor sitting write in front of him and the pastor did not correct him. WoW
I am also tired of so called "Christians" claiming Jesus in name but being too worldly to stand up for Him in truth. Instead, such would prefer to deny His truths so that they can water down the Gospel and pretend that others know God when they do not. More often than not, this is done to cover their own worldly ways from which they do not yet want to part.
Yes, I certainly understand the shame felt by such compromising "Christianity".
Elevation can be given to you from God. Ester, King David, Abraham, Moses, Joseph, billy graham for goodness sakes. why do people associate a high position with satan. God can put you up in a high place, but you need to make a decision to give God the glory and use that chance to witness the truth to people. That is what Steve is trying to do. Hence the title of his comedy show. 'He(God) ain't done with me yet.' Just pray for Him and not put the man on blast. He is clearly hurtin and confused.
No one said differently. Yet that is a far cry from saying that elevation in the world IS the evidence of God (which is what Steve said).
God uses and promotes whom He chooses, but it is not according to the ways of the world. If anything, Jesus cautions us that we will NOT be accepted by the world because the world only loves its own.
you did say differently according to elevation. Plus Paul was not submitted to God nor was nebuchadnezzer and Moses. God sought these people out. They decided to follow him. It is a choice. God made us free moral agents. He lets us choose. Esther did not have fight for God and her people, she was given the option and she chose God (Esther 4:13-15).She was the Queen of Perisa, a worldly place. No we will not be accepted by the world, but we do not stay away from it....... continued
Paul was submitted to God before He elevated him. He was even struck low and blinded in order to be brought to repentance first. Esther was not disobedient when we was made Queen. She obeyed her Godly uncle. Nebuchadnezzer was made a beast before men because of his idolatry and he persecuted the saints.
The issue is not whether each person has a choice; they do. The issue is whether elevation in the world is an evidence of acceptance by God. Such is false.
i didn't say esther was disobedient. I said she had a choice. However before these others such as Paul, Neb, Moses. these were not men of God. they might been knock down to get to where God placed them, but they were more worldly than God like b4 they got there. But God still sought these men and they then submitted
LOL. I think we are missing eachother points. But God bless anyway. However, your last statement brings me to a question. Are you implying that we are no longer save when we sin or do something that is the opposite of his plan for our lives? We as imperfect beings are always gjoing to slip up, but that doesn't throw us away from his loving hands. Our relationship is like the prodigals son. We slip away, but the father is aways there to receive us again. Even through our rebellious stage.
God's direction for us in sin is not that we are no longer saved, but that we are to repent. The rebellion I referred to before was indicative of life before turning to Christ, not afterwards.
He is faithful to receive us back from sin after salvation, if we repent.
No. God doesn't put you in a high place so you can "decide" to give Him the glory. God only elevates those who have already submitted themselves to His Glory to begin with. This is true for every Biblical figure you name.
Jesus surrounded himself with the worldly people so much that he was questioned by the Pharisees. What was his reply? A doctor is not needed around the Healthy. He came for the world and for the world to be given a chance to accept him. He knew he would be rejected, but he still gave love and let them choose their way. Heaven or Hell. We are to do the same. we are to go outside the for walls and go get these people. Does that mean go party and get drunk with them? NO. You still remain christlike
But Jesus was not surrounded by the worldly. He was surrounded by sinners...and not just any sinners, but those looking for repentance. There is a difference between being "worldly" and being a "sinner".
The "world" will never except Jesus, only those God has chosen out of the world.
I agree that we are to go outside of the church to reach those who are lost. That is what the shame is about this interview. Only the true Gospel message saves, and they let Steve leave without that.
MrTyronewilliams80 3 days ago in playlist sermon

KakkoiGuy1 1 month ago in playlist Apostasy
@KakkoiGuy1 ....steve is prob referring to woman who aren't celibate, just because we may try to live by God's laws doesn't mean that every other woman out there is... so this is a way for them to protect themselves regardless. I grew up without protective male figures around me to teach me about men. steve's book teaches woman to be a lady but also know how men think, so that we won't be bamboozled into anything
nicoleayanna 1 month ago

You have to repent and ask for the full faith to be washed clean of your sins!!!

so why criticise this always looking to pull someone down.romans
2:1 1 Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest: for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest doest the same things. 2 But we are sure that the judgment of God is according to truth against them which commit such things.
four1rent 6 months ago
@four1rent Please excuse me if I am less than tactful in answering you, but I am rather fed up with false religion masquerading as true Christianity.
"Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? And if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters?" I Cor. 6:2
"Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment." John 7:24
"But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man." I Cor. 2:15
Ainesis3 6 months ago
@four1rent The only one Scripture commands not to judge is the hypocrite.
This video is not about Steve, but the church folks cheering him on in spite of the falsehoods he espouses. If someone is a "new" Christian, then they should not be given a platform to preach (I Tim. 3:6). And if they do, they should be corrected if their words are false, deceptive, and unScriptural,
But how many people actually know the Lord or love others enough to speak the truth? Very few, as your comments show.

Hypocrisy is deadly.
Ainesis3 6 months ago
PEOPLE GIVE IT A REST!! It is not your responsibility to decide who's saved &who ain't. Any real Christian (or anyone that actually read the Bible) would know that NO ONE is spot free. King David (a man after God's own heart {1 Sam. 13:14;16:7; Acts 13:22}) was a murderer, an adulterer, a whore (if I can be technical), and many other "bad" things. He was a man in the world, but he knew and understood God's teachings and promises. John 21:22 says mind your own business & don't worry about others!
843babygrl 8 months ago
@843babygrl It is amazing how easily and horribly people pervert the word of God in order to justify sin. It is as if they have no fear of God whatsoever.
"And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent." Acts 17:30
Ainesis3 8 months ago
the truly disturbing part and what I would have liked him to speak about is why does he recommend the "90 day" program for women. The point of the interview is that he is a professing christian (a follower of the teachings of Jesus).Yet in his book he gives specific recommendations on how women should enter into sexual relationships outside of marriage;I am not being prudish. There is a difference in doing wrong & knowing vs denying. The Bible tells us how a person is to approach God the Father
shieldsff 6 months ago
@shieldsff Moat "professing" Christians are so in name only (Matt. 7:21-23). They do not know or honor the Lord but simply attempt to identify with Him for their own selfish reasons. That doesn't mean that such cannot get saved, but it means we must follow Biblical instruction regarding who to receive as a brother or sister in the Lord (Luke 6:44-45).
It is time that the church got serious about who is on God's side and who is not. Only those who do the will of the Father are His.
Ainesis3 6 months ago

I bet you almost all of the people in the audience agrees with Steve, Donnie himself probably agrees, how sad
holynessorhell 9 months ago
The level of deception in "church" is surely high, and God said it would be so. Just keep your eyes and ears attuned to the Lord. He is faithful to guide you. He can even lead you in where to fellowship with like-minded believers.
God says the false must exist in order to show who is approved (I Cor. 11:19). Just keep letting the light of Christ shine; He will handle the rest. :-)
Ainesis3 10 months ago 2
But for every one of those false teachers and perverters of Truth, God has raised up men who DO hold fast to His Word such as Paul Washer, John MacArthur, Chuck Missler, Ravi Zacharias, and D. James Kennedy. I advise those who are in search of true preaching from the Gospel to look up these brothers in stead of flipping on their tv sets and watching the hocus pocus voodoo doctrine of the prosperity/charismatic/faith healer movements which have NO basis in God's Word.
salmagnum 11 months ago
It's not a matter of choosing sides here. What the real issue is, "What saith the Lord?"
Only God knows where these two men are coming from (or not coming from, which ever the case may be)
Can't you see both points of view? We ought to be able to if we have the Spirit of God.
Face it, anybody can type in Scripture AFTER the fact.
prchrs2 1 year ago
Who is on the Lord's side? We must choose this day whom we will serve; and not between alliances with men, but with God.
Everything stated by Steve was at odds with "What saith the Lord." So, if that is your standard - as it should be - then you have your answer. Out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks.
The point is not where these two men are coming from, but why no one could lead this man to Christ - truly. But then, that actually takes someone to love him.
Ainesis3 1 year ago 2

So, I bless Steve and I bless you.
keriscags 1 year ago
It is not about "my" point of view, neither is it about your personal religious experiences, but the word & will of God. Any "blessing" coming from a perspective other than that can be kept by the sender.
Ainesis3 1 year ago
@Ainesis3 Very good vid, my friend. Those professing Christ in word and who do not diligently study THE Word, will always misinterpret the actions of those who reach out with the Truth to correct those in delusion and error. The reason we have Benny Hinns and Mike Murdocks and Todd Bentleys and Rick Warrens and the Emergent Church today is because the Church has grown lax in its duties of preaching boldly from the Word of Truth.
salmagnum 11 months ago

No wonder Jesus hated religion and only had harsh words for the leaders ...
keriscags 1 year ago

Unless the supreme creator himself conveys a direct message, we will probably get it wrong.
taguchi1 1 year ago
And that is what salvation makes possible: direct messages conveyed by the supreme Creator Himself.

You should seek to understand Scripture in context. Matthew 7:1 is directed to hypocrites, not to the righteous (verse 5).
God never calls on the world to minister to His people. You are right in that God will not chase Steve away, but he must repent and be born again. All who do not will be rejected.

To get them saved, they have to know that God loves them and we love them.
cyn3100 1 year ago
And it is the Holy Spirit who imparts the true knowledge of God, which Steve did not have. So the Holy Spirit should have convicted at least one of those "church folks" in the room to be moved by love and teach Steve the truth.

What hypocrites we can be.
cyn3100 4 months ago
@cyn3100 Your pastor's right. Scripture says it's not simply those who 'profess' Him which make it in, but those who do His will (Matt. 7:21-23).
One thing we do know is that only those led by God's Spirit are His children (Rom. 8:15). While you claim that we cannot know who such persons are, Jesus says that we CAN (Matt. 12:33; Luke 6:44; Gal. 5:19-23; James 3:12). I choose to believe Him.
If you feel hypocritical, then you should repent. Otheriwse, I must be about my Father's business.
Ainesis3 4 months ago

"the only time you should look down on a man is when you're picking him up."
grace777d 1 year ago 2
Provided that they are actually coming to God and not a delusion. It is also the responsibility of a Christian to reveal to someone the True God, if they have placed faith in a false god.
It is not about looking down on anyone, but it is about showing forth the love God commands us to, even for those who are lost. To leave someone in error - believing they know God when they don't - is not love.
Ainesis3 1 year ago 6
@grace777d well if you saying that then you kinda contradicting...when I watched this video I said what the person posted said and what YOU just said was "WE TELL THE TRUTH IN LOVE"...If Gods spirit is in you and you know righteousness you could not help but agree with how well put together this breakdown of false truths was...We always love to say somebody is judging but back to what you said "WE NEED TO TELL THE TRUTH IN LOVE" the person posted TOLD THE TRUTH so you should have said AMEN!

Ainesis3 1 year ago
@Ainesis3 Steve is either not born again, or does not read the word. If I were Donnie, I would allow the Spirit of God to direct the conversation ( as always when ministering to people). I cannot begin to criticize Donnie in anyway because viewing this and being in this situation are two different things. It is very easy for us believers to throw the bible at others, but remember grace and mercy covers a multitude of sins. Donnie can teach him the right things off camera, you know
eteness 1 year ago
@Ainesis3 remember that even though we are growing into the statute of Christ..we are not there yet. we need to be careful that we dont act like the pharisees...you know, in this situation Donnie should be able to take him aside and teach him the word, not humiliate him in front of the people because the situation did not warrant that (just my believe)...Jesus showed mercy to many and more to those who had the right heart..but yes Steve just needs the Word..faith comes by hearing amen...
eteness 1 year ago
No one is saying Steve should have been humiliated.
Donnie could have stopped the show & spoken to Steve privately. He could have let Steve speak and then shared the real Gospel with him. He could have added a statement at the end of the show confirming that some of the things were false, but that he felt it more important to let Steve get that off his chest than address the error st that time.
Ainesis3 1 year ago
But he should NOT have aired the show - giving Steve a platform to espouse a false gospel - with NO correction. His silence and failure to acknowledge that many of these things said were untrue was tantamount to his endorsement of those false beliefs.
Donnie not only has an obligation to treat Steve with God's love, but he has an obligation to uphold that which is true for his viewing audience AND a command to stand for truth before the Lord.
Ainesis3 1 year ago 2
@Ainesis3 You are spot on. The word says that those that are spiritual should restore those who are fallen. I don't know Steve's heart, but this show shouldn't have aired if Donnie didn't agree.

Donnie didn't say anything because he too is in the world/entertainment/church system. we should always pray for each other, but don't fool yourselves...these are wolves.

Ainesis3 1 year ago
How else does one come to learn God except by seeking Him. That is what Steve is doing. The God I know says that He is the only Judge and only He knows the heart of a man. Instead of pointing out faullts we should pray that this man learns who God truley is and allows Him to be first in his life. There was only one righteous Jesus.
angiesigner 1 year ago
I cannot vouch for the god that "you know", but the True & Living God calls for HIS people to be salt and light in a dark world. That includes shining forth in truth and not giving credence to lies and false doctrines.
Steve was not "seeking", he was "preaching" perversions of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Such is not his fault. The blood remains on the hands of those who would know better, yet side by and leave this man in darkness...and those who continue to make excuses for such behavior.

REAL love - GODLY love - speaks the truth.
Ainesis3 2 years ago
This video was not for or addressing Steve. Steve needs to repent and turn in faith to the true Jesus Christ and I pray that he does. If he is sincere, then God will make a way for that to happen.
This video is directed to those who call themselves the church.
Correct. We are to grow in the knowledge of the Lord once we turn to Him in faith. No one has all the answers or all of the truth, regardless of how long they have been in the faith.
Ainesis3 2 years ago
I would guess that depends on whose one "god" is.
Ainesis3 2 years ago
The bible tells us in 2Pe 3:18 But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. We are changed from glory to glory by the Spirit of the Lord. It is evident that Steve Harvey has not come to that place asof yet but, a seed had been planted since childhood, and God sees the sincerity of the heart. He says he is saved so whom God justifys let us not condemn.. Those of you who know Donnie can trust that he will mentor him.
ekdarkness 2 years ago
Pardon me, but "Baloney."
Ainesis3 2 years ago
If that is an example of what it is like to "trust" Donnie, then we can rest assured that he will not address the delusions Steve spoke or lead him into knowing the True & Living God.
Do I hope that Donnie or someone does this? Absolutely. But I will not stand her and make or accept excuses from those who want to pretend that everything was fine.
What happened on that show was a DISGRACE. If that show was not the time to address those errors, then the show should have never been aired.
Ainesis3 2 years ago
It wasn't the right time to correct Steve's misconceptions about God, but it sure was the right time to milk that man's pain and sorrow for the benefit of the viewing audience.
Please. The whole thing sickens me. What is more important, the ratings or that man's soul (and the souls of all the viewers who may have been misled)?
One cannot grow in the knowledge of the Lord when the "lord" one knows is not Jesus Christ, but another Jesus.
Ainesis3 2 years ago
Oh I didn't see Donnie compromising the truth.. I wasn't there and didn't go back stage so I can't say what the witiness was nor can I say that Mr. Harvey is on his way to hell. hmmm
nooney2 2 years ago
Nor did "I" say that Steve Harvey is on his way to hell. I said the delusions he was professing would lead someone to hell.
There are many ways to compromise the truth, including giving credence to and failing to address error.
Open rebuke is better than secret love. Faithful are the wounds of a friend; but the kisses of an enemy are deceitful. Proverbs 27:5-6
There are many ways to deny Christ, even in silent acceptance of that which is false.
Ainesis3 2 years ago
Let me just be clear. I have no patience for compromising Christianity or worldly definitions of "love" that are devoid and contradictory to the word of God.
So, believe and think what you choose, but just don't post nonsense here as I have not the stomach for it.
Ainesis3 2 years ago
You don't have to quote the scripture to me I'm well aware.. the fact still remains is that you have it all tacked down if LOVE is not your motive you're a tinkling brass. I pray Mr. Harvey grow in his walk and in the fullness of what God can do for him... Amen..
nooney2 2 years ago
"You don't have to quote the scripture to me I'm well aware"
Apparently NOT anytime you post here implying that no correction should have been given; and then covering errors with a "Holy Spirit is working on Him" delusion; only to top it off with a "we should not judge" lie.
It is not LOVE to let people believe in a delusion that will send them to Hell.
I pray that people stop compromising on the truth and stand for Jesus Christ, if they really want to be known as Christians.

Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment. John 7:24
No wonder so many in the world are damned, because of the compromise of so called Christians.
Ainesis3 2 years ago
Let He that is w/o sin cast the first stone. We are called to be witinesses not judges. You don't know what God with His Holy Spirit is ministering into Mr. Harvey. None of us have made it passed the gates so be careful of the stones you throw. You were on target with the scripture but what is the MOTIVE ?
nooney2 2 years ago
God commands the hypocrites not to judge. He commands His people to declare His truths. If you want to call that judging, then so be it.
I KNOW what is not from the Holy Spirit by the Scriptures for the Holy Spirit testifies of the truth which is written. If something is not Scriptural, then it is NOT from the Holy Spirit.
So maybe I should be asking what your MOTIVE is in trying to imply approval for anti-Scriptural delusions spoken about God.
Ainesis3 2 years ago
@nooney2 I have to chime in. The focal point here is not Steve being damned to hell. It is the message that is conveyed to the viewing audience and television world who may be on the same spiritual level as Steve or beneath him spiritually.

GOD demands praise.
mookiesmith18 2 years ago
No, I am not judging "him" on the things he said. I am judging the truth of what he said...and there isn't much truth.
It is very apparent that he does not understand who God is. Can one be saved and not know God? One is not saved simply because they say they are. Jesus said we know those who believe by their fruit.
Ainesis3 2 years ago
I'm Talking about things from the past. He has cursed and he has said some bad things on stage, but we can't say that he is not trying. If steve is still struggling with bad language. That means he is trying. If your not struggling with your sins then that probably means your just letting satan have his way with you. You can't expect that when you first get saved you stop every sin right away. Some things you might still struggle with, but that just means your trying not to do those old things.
mookiesmith18 2 years ago
It is not about resisting sin. Every Christian should do that.
It is about a false understanding of God being powerless to save one from sin.
Ainesis3 2 years ago
Giving God "credit" means NOTHING if one does not lay down their lives and forsake their own ways for Him. A living sacrifice is what He says we owe.
If I do that, will I praise Him? Yes. But simply saying "I thank God for..." means nothing without it. It is not pleasing to God to say "I thank God for..." and then proceed to do/say things that are profane and vile.
God demands praise from a PURE heart. He rejects all else.
Ainesis3 2 years ago
I straight up agree with you. Before i got saved I had a way of thinking that wen't completely against the word of GOD. But now GOD is still working on me, and i understand more than what i use to. Just pray for steve. Pray that GOD will keep working on him. Maybe he should have been corrected, I can agree. Just give it time. Steve harvey will be ok. Long has he lets GOD have his way. We can't see what goes on behind close doors.
mookiesmith18 2 years ago
True, but McClurkin had a responsibility not only to Steve, but to those sitting in the audience and those watching on TV to get this straight.
I am not saying confront Steve on stage. He could have stopped the interview to handle this offline, or he could have added commentary at the end of the interview acknowledging that errors were presented.
But to give Steve the platform and let him continue espousing falsehoods about God with NO correction was shameful.
Ainesis3 2 years ago
Steve is being sincere, but he is sincerely WRONG. He has yet to understand who God is, how to get saved, or even what it means to serve God.
This is where the "churchfolk" failed him. Right now Steve thinks he serves God, but it is abundantly clear that he has no idea who God is, personally. "I know 'some God.' They know 'some God'". His ideas about God are way off. Such is not a matter of maturity but understanding.
They should have introduced him to the God in truth, but they didn't.
Ainesis3 2 years ago
If someone you know claims to "know Jesus" and it is apparent to you that they do not, you have a responsibility to God and them to tell them the truth about who God really is. If you do not, and that person dies and goes to hell, their blood is on your hands.
It is NOT love to leave someone in a delusion, thinking they are okay when they are not. That is hatred because such people care absolutely nothing about the person.
Ainesis3 2 years ago
Lastly, Christians ARE to judge. We have been commanded by God to do so. We are simply to judge righteous judgments according to God's word and not according to the opinion's of men.
Sorry for the long posts, just had multiple points to make. Thanks
Ainesis3 2 years ago
I was led by God to post a video addressing the absolute shame there is - not in a man having a false understanding of the Gospel - but of a group of "believers" who cannot teach him what salvation really is.
This video is not about Steve. Everyone has a false understanding of God before coming to know Him. Yet, those who claim to know the Lord should know better. You don't applaud man's error, you show him the true way. They did not.
Ainesis3 2 years ago

Try to heal, the Lord is called Great Counselor, because everybody needs counseling?!?!
amorris247 2 years ago

Examine yourself before you attempt to judge another
amorris247 2 years ago
Then you ought to feel right at home in the audience with the rest of the people who applauded without presenting the truth to this man.
There is a "Christianity" defined by the world which has absolutely nothing to do with Jesus Christ; and I want nothing to do with that type of Christianity.
Woe to those who call evil good and good evil.

NikPMusic1986 2 years ago
Love without Truth is not love, but compromise.
Ainesis3 2 years ago
Excellent comment, my friend. I don't know if u understand my point though. I'm not saying compromise the truth, I'm saying just as much LOVE as TRUTH. Who are we that we can prophesy TRUTH all day long and have NO LOVE. I'm and advocate of BOTH... not one or the other. Much love and bless u, my friend :)
NikPMusic1986 2 years ago
And I would agree. We must have both. In fact, they are one and the same. God is Love and God is Truth. God Bless you as well!
Ainesis3 2 years ago
I definitely agree with this video!!!! But we have to admit that sometimes, we church folk, can drive babes in Christ to this point... We need to teach the truth, like whats in this video, in love AND THROUGH EXAMPLE and stop LOOKING DOWN ON THE UNSAVED OR BABES AS WE ARE HOLIER OR KNOW MORE because REJECTION can drive men towards REBELLION or COMPROMISED CHRISTIAN BELIEFS AND LIFESTYLES. Yes Steve was technically wrong, but understand what he was MEANING...

I love this video, we have to pray for him because he is in error. Its sad that he had a pastor sitting write in front of him and the pastor did not correct him. WoW

I understand your frustration.

"Elevation can be given to you from God."
Ainesis3 2 years ago
you did say differently according to elevation. No we will not be accepted by the world, but we do not stay away from it....... continued
monilove5 2 years ago
Paul was submitted to God before He elevated him. He was even struck low and blinded in order to be brought to repentance first. Esther was not disobedient when we was made Queen. She obeyed her Godly uncle. Nebuchadnezzer was made a beast before men because of his idolatry and he persecuted the saints.
The issue is not whether each person has a choice; they do. The issue is whether elevation in the world is an evidence of acceptance by God. Such is false.
Ainesis3 2 years ago
i didn't say esther was disobedient. I said she had a choice. However before these others such as Paul, Neb, Moses. these were not men of God. they might been knock down to get to where God placed them, but they were more worldly than God like b4 they got there. But God still sought these men and they then submitted
monilove5 2 years ago
And "I" never said people don't have a choice; they do.
However, the key is submission as you state. God does NOT elevate us and consider us His children while actively in rebellion to Him.
Ainesis3 2 years ago
Even through our rebellious stage.
monilove5 2 years ago
God's direction for us in sin is not that we are no longer saved, but that we are to repent. The rebellion I referred to before was indicative of life before turning to Christ, not afterwards.
He is faithful to receive us back from sin after salvation, if we repent.
Ainesis3 2 years ago
No. God doesn't put you in a high place so you can "decide" to give Him the glory. God only elevates those who have already submitted themselves to His Glory to begin with. This is true for every Biblical figure you name.
Ainesis3 2 years ago
Jesus surrounded himself with the worldly people so much that he was questioned by the Pharisees. What was his reply? A doctor is not needed around the Healthy. He came for the world and for the world to be given a chance to accept him. He knew he would be rejected, but he still gave love and let them choose their way. Heaven or Hell. We are to do the same. we are to go outside the for walls and go get these people. Does that mean go party and get drunk with them? NO. You still remain christlike
monilove5 2 years ago
But Jesus was not surrounded by the worldly. He was surrounded by sinners...and not just any sinners, but those looking for repentance. There is a difference between being "worldly" and being a "sinner".
The "world" will never except Jesus, only those God has chosen out of the world.
I agree that we are to go outside of the church to reach those who are lost. That is what the shame is about this interview. Only the true Gospel message saves, and they let Steve leave without that.
Ainesis3 2 years ago
The "world" will never except Jesus, only those God has chosen out of the world.
Yes, but we don't stop seeking and teaching these people. He press on until the cross.
