Rand Paul is so far out of the mainstream he makes Michelle Bachmann almost look sane.
He wants a balanced budget? Why? Based on what evidence? We have 20 million people out of work; private corporations are never going to hire them. They don't care, and neither does Paul or this woman. She is so selfish.
Government has a role to play when so much human misery in a capitalist economy is evident. It is irresponsible to not act with jobs programs to get America back to work.

The national debt is suspiciously an issue but by paying off some of it we will then see it become not an issue. The suspiciousness of the national debt could be the reason why the secret government would want to erase the U.S. Constitution through a police state. If we are to conjure up the "secret government" as an entity of importance. For this the National Debt should be an issue especially a nation like the U.S. which has a document that could transform many nations in the future.

By simply eliminating tons of military programs there would be enough for social programs. Remember, the mysterious missile launch off the coast of California is evidence of a non-constitutional pentagon directed hidden structure. 1. Get rid of the unnecessary military programs,2. That's cute Shelly. You read a teleprompter great. Dos not change my mind about Rand Paul, though. He is a terrible candidate. I do not want somebody running government who wants to dismantle everything that has taken a long time to build.
A voice w/ rand paul? not unless you are big business. he doesnt want to hold big business accountalbe for anything. not bp or the coal industry just to name the most recent. this person is clearly for the top 2%'ters and Im not part of that group.
It seems that a lot of ignorant folks here don't know how the political machine works - it's an ugly, nasty game & must be played strategically. It is possible to agree to disagree civilly as some politicians can & do. Rand is smart to USE what connections he can to get into certain arenas. He doesn't support Palin's policies but he was smart to use her so her crowd heard him. If you think he's not taking advice from his father & that Ron isn't in his ear, you're downright dumb.
@LCFlowercandy So what do you think will happen when Rand does not satisfy the Palin faction? Do you think she is dumb enough to not know when somebody is just giving her table scraps? Don't get me wrong. I think she is an idiot, but I give her more credit than I think you are giving her.
Rand Paul wants to give businesses absolute power in deciding whether you are public or not. Rand Paul doesn't want government to make that kind of decision.
Did you see this "doctor" does not support medical marijuana? This is not tenable. If you are not familiar with "Phoenix Tears" please educate yourself. Dr. Rand Paul is another tyrant, fighting to keep pharma in control of your body. He ain't his daddy, and I hope you will learn the truth and support LIBERTY, which will not be delivered by Afghan-and-drug-war-mongering, Israel-fawning, Rand Paul.
Hi Shelly. Are you single? I live in Portland, OR where the ugly liberal hippie chicks abound and seeing a beautiful conservative woman is rare and refreshing.
douche bags like rand paul are the reason why the freedom movement goes nowhere. STOP WASTING YOUR TIME WITH POLITICAL CANDIDATES!!! even if running a candidate could solve anything (which it never will) it doesn't matter! The American empire is over, worst case scenario there wont even be a political system in 40 years,
@wildabeast11235 I hear ya and agree... I have been focusing more on local candidates because there may be a small possibility that they can make changes close to home that will provide...something... when the crash finally comes. Just food for thought.
Insk, I supported Ron Paul since before he ran in the primaries having lived in TX right outside of his district. I supported Chuck Baldwin and a whole host of local candidates in my current small area of South West P.A.
No, Rand does not share his father's moral values as he was on the Hannity Radio Show this week attempting to prove it! As Christians Must Learn stated, Jeb Bush campaigned for him!!! I'm sorry to burst your bubble but he is your average neo-con running on Daddy's name.
@clydewillis You are either one of the many planted and well paid government shills to discredit a POWERFUL liberty- FOR THE PEOPLE- candidate or have not researched enough yet. Who are you going to vote for?
@lnsk WOW! You ignore all the questions and concerns I raise about Rand Paul and say I am a government plant or ignorant person. I'll answer your question. I don't know IF I am even going to vote for anyone except local candidates this time around because all of the candidates that will by on my ballot for the state level and higher are run of the mill republican neocons, half-way libertarians or socialist democrats. That's the truth. Now, will you adress some of my concerns? (to be cont.)
@clydewillis Going to war with the tax code and regulation codes hows that for a start.
Jeb bush offered to campaign for him, why would he turn him down? That just seems dumb.
He will protect seniors by getting the government out of the way. You also need to take a look at how campaigning works, you must remember people love simple phrases. Again like I have said to others, if you never want to win a race keep doing what you are doing.
@Vunks2000 "Going to war with the tax and regulation codes" is not going to balance the budget - we're talking $BILLIONS. Besides, I asked for SPECIFICS not vague campaign promises.
Oh yeah, Jeb Bush offered to campaign for ol' Rand even though they disagree on soooo much. Right. Face it, they are two peas in a pod. No one has been able to show one area of substance where Rand differs from the average Republican.
He is trying to win his race like everyone else because......
@clydewillis LMAO don't ask about real policy positions...this is about "Freedom" and "Liberty" your not supposed to ask what that actually means or how he would actually legislate. All you need to know is that he is for your "Freedom" that should be enough for you. He loves Liberty....how can you argue with that???
@ChristiansMustLearn Why wouldn't he? You can't just discard all the other republicans, you have to find a common ground or you will go nowhere, It's people like you who are trying you very best to drive this movement into the ground. If you never want to win an election continue doing what you are doing.
So I'm an asshole? I would have to be an asshole to believe that there were NO OTHER republicans that he could associate with. Jeb Bush? Jeb "PNAC" Bush?
Protect our seniors and protect our troops - what does that even mean??? As much as I liked Ron Paul I think most liberty minded patriots see Rand Paul for what heis - your run of the mill Republitard.
@clydewillis So what 'liberty' candidates do you support? Rand holds the same rare moral values as his father - and likewise, Rand supports 'we the people’. Your comment mimics the proliferating mindless and/or soulless paid-off name callers against the ‘establishments’ threatening candidate opponents. Good luck. Patriot – One that is diligent of their government’s actions, not one that blindly obliges for reward.
@lnsk Please see my first response above. Also, neocons always talk about a balanced budget but they never want to talk about any real ways to cut the budget. Ron Paul (as well as other "serious" liberty candidates) offered up some pretty controversial programs to cut including Department of Education and Department of Defense cuts. What specific programs has Rand suggested? Hmmm... The more I learn about Rand the less I like him. As stated above, he's in bed with Hanity and Jeb Bush...
@Vunks2000 Perhaps you would like to attempt to answer the questions/objections I raised? It seems everyone is addicted to saying that Rand Paul is not a run of the mill neocon but noone is interested in proving it. Step up Vunks, answer the three very simple questions I had.
@badtothebone84 A business like that would not gain or keep good employees so it wouldnt be in their self interest. Unlike the gov forcing the tax half of which the employer has to cover which really only translates to lower wages for the employees. Thats gov at its finest where as the former is TRUE free market at its finest.
Since when have politicians wanted what's best for the country? Isn't that a contradiction. If they wanted what was best for the country they wouldn't be running for office in the first place.
Could you at least show some respect and refer to Dr. Rand Paul as a man, rather than a guy. It's unbelievably condescending to refer to such an accomplished man as a 'guy'. If a reporter called Hillary Clinton a 'gal' he'd be looking for work the next day. I see this regularly, even teenaged girls calling much older adult males, 'guys'. Imagine a teen boy referring to a 45 year old woman as a 'gal'. It's just another symptom of the misandric, anti-male society we now live.

the guy is a racist , at the core of it , he try's to walk a thin line be saying, he dont believe in pubic racism but private companies should be able to choice what color they server ..
@badtothebone84 Rand Paul's not a racist. The belief that government should not be able to interfere with private companies isn't a racist belief, it's a Libertarian belief. There are black Libertarians who support this view as well. It has nothing to do with racism, and everything to do with political philosophy. You obviously disagree with this philosophy, and you're entitled to your opinion but that doesn't make him a racist.
@Kras3169 he might say he not but that face it he can live with business excluding people because of there color , anyone that still see color till today cant get my vote.
i really hope he is as good as you say. and does good things ..
@warlocks4life its not about age , the fact is this , so someone to say it ok that private businesses should be able to exclude people because of color , is not just stupid its wrong . the fact that he say he dont a agree with it but he can suport it , WHAT DOES THAT SAY TO YOU. any that can be ok with exclude me cause of my color can never get my vote , i do understand that he stand for a lot of things you agree with , but its that one thing that turn me off . these are things he said
@badtothebone84 To me, it says that he is principled and does not think the government has the right to tell people (including private businesses) who they must conduct business with.
It's all subjective. You basically think a business owner should have not have any say in who he or she does business with, regardless of how stupid their choices may be. Are your rights more important than the business owner's? This isn't the 60's, a business who excludes any group will go out of business.
@warlocks4life this is how i see it (simple) everything needs some kind of governance or rules , the fact is no one or business want to be told what to do , but when your actions affect people directly or indirectly someone has to be there to protect those that cant help or protect them self , im all about letting people make stupid choices but when they affect other that where i say rules and governance is needed.
@warlocks4life what if your work want to tax you on some stupid tax they made up that took 40% of your wages , i guess because there a private company its kool. private or public company all need some kind of governance not everyone does good business practices
@zugadabifida kkk is a fuck choice or life style, being black or gay isn't , you a so stupid its not funny ... anyone the thinks its ok to excluded anyone is stupid and second is the kkk wanna be serve ill be the first to serve him once he keep his stupid ass views to him self i could care less
@badtothebone84dude you must have been educated in government schools because you write like a seconded grader. You should spend some time learning the English language. I don't know what you are saying and you probably don't either.
@zugadabifida lol just to show you how stupid he and his followers are , now you got nothing to say you turn to insults , your just another dumb ass . lol , good luck loser i hope that wasn't to under educated for you to understand .....
@badtothebone84 so what you are saying is it is ok to discriminate based on religion or lifestyle but not race or gender identity. so No Jews allowed because that is a "fuck choice" is ok. a white restaurant owner should have to allow the new black panther party to eat at his establishment because he is black and the fact that he wants to kill whity and his children is of no consequence. you are not in favor of properly rights.
@badtothebone84 do you also believe that blacks are so inferior that they need special consideration(affirmative action ) to make it. Because they can't make it on their own. how come there is no white congressional congress, no white Miss America,
now white entertainment television, no united Caucasian college fund white history month etc etc. .
Wouldn't it be nice if every state had a freedom loving candidate on their ballot? Let's all support Rand Paul because his success will help give other freedom loving candidates the courage to run.
Next to our county Sheriff I'm one of the most active Tea Party Patriots in Del Norte County ( a 501(c)(3) ). Need to register to vote? - Come talk to me. Take the forms wherever I go. I'm a 'tenther' too.
Shelly I support you all the way but he supports Afghanistan, Iraq, Gitmo, etc. I know that there plenty of support from the troops and military families from KY. You can only reign in debt when you reign in the $800B+ military budget on and off the book. Rand is almost there but as long as he supports the military industrial complex can't put money behind him. Beats the alternative, true, but the debt won't go down until it ends.
@lookwhatidid actually he does. a lot of the alternative media is saying ron paul should be ashamed and should get blood work done to make sure it is his soon. i think kids that grow up in politics are usually the messed up ones, ron didnt and look at how good of a guy he is. his son is a prick and i wish ppl didnt think just cause his dad is good that rand is good too. rand fails at life

Kras3169 1 year ago
@Kras3169 he might say he not but that face it he can live with business excluding people because of there color , anyone that still see color till today cant get my vote.
i really hope he is as good as you say. and does good things ..
badtothebone84 1 year ago
@badtothebone84 That is not what he said at all. That is how the desperate left has twisted his words. You are either young or naive.
warlocks4life 1 year ago
@warlocks4life its not about age , the fact is this , so someone to say it ok that private businesses should be able to exclude people because of color , is not just stupid its wrong . the fact that he say he dont a agree with it but he can suport it , WHAT DOES THAT SAY TO YOU. any that can be ok with exclude me cause of my color can never get my vote , i do understand that he stand for a lot of things you agree with , but its that one thing that turn me off . these are things he said
badtothebone84 1 year ago
@badtothebone84 To me, it says that he is principled and does not think the government has the right to tell people (including private businesses) who they must conduct business with.
It's all subjective. You basically think a business owner should have not have any say in who he or she does business with, regardless of how stupid their choices may be. Are your rights more important than the business owner's? This isn't the 60's, a business who excludes any group will go out of business.
warlocks4life 1 year ago
@warlocks4life this is how i see it (simple) everything needs some kind of governance or rules , the fact is no one or business want to be told what to do , but when your actions affect people directly or indirectly someone has to be there to protect those that cant help or protect them self , im all about letting people make stupid choices but when they affect other that where i say rules and governance is needed.
badtothebone84 1 year ago
@warlocks4life what if your work want to tax you on some stupid tax they made up that took 40% of your wages , i guess because there a private company its kool. private or public company all need some kind of governance not everyone does good business practices

@badtothebone84 should a black business owner have to serve a kkk member?you statist dumbass
zugadabifida 1 year ago

badtothebone84 1 year ago
@badtothebone84dude you must have been educated in government schools because you write like a seconded grader. You should spend some time learning the English language. I don't know what you are saying and you probably don't either.
zugadabifida 1 year ago
@zugadabifida lol just to show you how stupid he and his followers are , now you got nothing to say you turn to insults , your just another dumb ass . lol , good luck loser i hope that wasn't to under educated for you to understand .....
badtothebone84 1 year ago
@badtothebone84 so what you are saying is it is ok to discriminate based on religion or lifestyle but not race or gender identity. so No Jews allowed because that is a "fuck choice" is ok. a white restaurant owner should have to allow the new black panther party to eat at his establishment because he is black and the fact that he wants to kill whity and his children is of no consequence. you are not in favor of properly rights.
zugadabifida 1 year ago
@badtothebone84 do you also believe that blacks are so inferior that they need special consideration(affirmative action ) to make it. Because they can't make it on their own. how come there is no white congressional congress, no white Miss America,
now white entertainment television, no united Caucasian college fund white history month etc etc. .
zugadabifida 1 year ago
@badtothebone84 government sponsored discrimination is ok but not private property owners they have no rights to choose who they serve

Wouldn't it be nice if every state had a freedom loving candidate on their ballot? Let's all support Rand Paul because his success will help give other freedom loving candidates the courage to run.

Go Ran Paul. Elect those that oppose the establishment! and ur hot!
afterniatis 1 year ago
Shelly I support you all the way but he supports Afghanistan, Iraq, Gitmo, etc. I know that there plenty of support from the troops and military families from KY. You can only reign in debt when you reign in the $800B+ military budget on and off the book. Rand is almost there but as long as he supports the military industrial complex can't put money behind him. Beats the alternative, true, but the debt won't go down until it ends.
Deoptics8 1 year ago
@Deoptics8 He doesn't support those things. He supports reducing the military budget, ending Iraq, and bringing the troops home from many countries.
lookwhatidid 1 year ago
@lookwhatidid actually he does. a lot of the alternative media is saying ron paul should be ashamed and should get blood work done to make sure it is his soon. i think kids that grow up in politics are usually the messed up ones, ron didnt and look at how good of a guy he is. his son is a prick and i wish ppl didnt think just cause his dad is good that rand is good too. rand fails at life
