I'm super happy with my RTX, I grabbed it for $30, uses every rotary tool accessory from Dremel, Craftsman, Black & Decker, Proxxon etc. And it's more powerful then the Dremels.
I am making a stair tool, and I need to make a slot in the board. Can I buy an accessory which will make a slot? Does it take router bits? Does it have a "fence"?
just so everyone knows. all of the dremel accessories fit. I cut cases using the dremel multi saw attachment. its simple amazing. I payed only $10 bucks for my black and decker due to it being on clearance. The back of the wrench can be used as a flat head screw driver
Beginner or "expert" , I think it is great that Bill takes the time to inform people of every aspect of case moding whether it is tools , equipment , or accessories . Thumbs up Bill .
Good buy Bill. Got one after an expensive dremel kit I god died after only a couple months. Has been working great for years using all the dremel accessories I was left with.
Times must be tough and the project pipeline must only have fan hole jobs for a video like this to come out. If that's the case, I hope things pick back up soon.
Bill actually said at the beginnin of the video "for those people who are just starting up their workshop" so he's doin this as a little guide of how to use a tool like this and he's doin it as a review of what you get with the product so people can get an idea for whether or not it is the right tool for them
weee..i was thinking of buying this..cuz its the only rotary tool available in the area..but was thinking that dremel was used by almost every modder in youtube so i hold on to my money...now with confirmation with the one and only BIll..i can buy it and start cutting out...ahh..stuff..from my chassis cm 690
Sorry Dremel fans, sometimes the truth hurts.

I have this rotary tool, it's really good for basic-moderate modding.
firestormcomputers 2 years ago
Agreed, I wouldn't attempt to cut a window in a steel case with it. Jigsaw is better tool for that job
MonsterMawd 2 years ago
Doesn't look bad at all for the price, it would really help the product (I think) if it had the 1/8" mandrel in the first place.
It's really nice to get more YT videos from you guys!
Zayras7 2 years ago
Agreed! but lets face it, accessory sales is how these manufacturers make a profit!
