This product is Hyaluronic Acid, the same substance as in Juviderm, Surgiderm and others; the concentration is higher; in other words, the only difference is that SubQ is thicker.

The product does come with an included cannula, which is 16 or 18 gauge. The manufactureres claim the product lasts for 2 years.

it's my understanding that Restylane lasts only about 6 months
