  • your name is an oxymoron. and nice spyderco.

  • true, thanks man!

  • Nice i have a UKPK (i live in England) so the knife laws are a mine feild and my UKPK(Great knife by the way) looks a bit intimadating in pulic so the squeak looks like a better bet for me Thanks!

  • Great video! Not many of the Squeak out there at the moment. Great to see the comparisons too. Thanks for posting it!

  • strength of plastic as a handle - i don't think so

  • @jackeddemon as a slipjoint knife, the construction without liners and just the FRN seems sufficiently strong to me. the knife is neither constructed nor intended to take a lot of abuse or torque, and the FRN makes the leight weight possible. if you´re looking for some added strength and a locking blade, i would suggest you check out the spyderco chicago: g-10 on steel liners and a liner-lock make the chicago a stronger but heavier knife

  • @gianthomunculus yeah that's true. though, i'm not a fan of anything that's not metal constructed for a handle. G-10 is also like plastic

  • @jackeddemon

Being a Slip It, the intended purpose for which the Squeak is designed and built yields FRN to be more than durable as a handle material.

It is not simply plastic, it is a fiber reinforced Nylon.
