I probably wrote that in the description for the Friday Wembley bootleg. They originally filmed this night as a "test." I still can't believe that this gig was better (and WASN'T released first)!

Under Pressure isn't too great from 7/12, the one from 7/11 is better.

7/11 (this show), is miles better: The band are more relaxed, Freddie sounds much better overall, the on-stage atmosphere is better, and Freddie is having the time of his life on stage. 7/12 (the "famous" show), is full of overdubs. This show has some minor pitch correction on a few songs (just to fix a note or two), and a couple of Brian's guitar solos were fixed up.

First night actually is better: On the second night, Freddie makes wrong and awkward note choices and doesn't attempt to hit many of the key notes.

The first night may be a bit more "barkish," but at least the TEMPO is better (what sitterfast wrote), and Freddie doesn't sound completely tired.
