I looked on my map and ishpatina is close to Scarecrow Lake. I've been up within 20kms of it, but never that far up. Now maybe one day we'll take our quads and go see if we can find it. Sounds like an interesting trip.

I am still looking to get there most of the way by car, and then put in for a short paddle to the trail head.

Oh, ok cool! Ishpatina Ridge is north of Capreol, north of Sudbury. It is the highest point of Ontario.

I don't have any reference that shows that name. It's near Kenetogami Lake, near Gogama. Here is the Co ordinance. N47 47.200 W81 40.100
