Social Justice is about socialism straight up. All the lovely sweet definitions mean nothing.....its about distribution of wealth. Taking from those who have EARNED a living and saved their money to give to those who had the same opportunities but whine about how bad things are for them so they need social justice......to take from those with....to give to those without. SOCIALISM.

Social Justice is about redistributing wealth and a living wage, which means you don't work the government would give you as much as you needed. Stop the indoctrination happening in your school. Learn what Social Justice is and speak out against it.

@FreedomInAmerica you're upset about social justice because it has been enforced through law and the government. But Christianity doesn't do that, it tries do it through love and charity - and I think that's an important difference.

Religion is the main cause for all the poverty and death in these other countries. People are praying to a god that obviously is not going to help them. They need to help themselves and filling their heads with silly thoughts about a god that loves and cares for them isnt helping. If god created them and loved them as his children, your god has one awful way of showing his love and compassion. Wake up people. Help is not coming from god. Its time to help eachother, thats what the song is.

Sooner or later, whether you are religious or not (it really doesn't make that much difference), pessimism and cynicism eventually turn into a kind of seriousness about life...But the real question is, whether you're religious or not (again it really doesn't make that much difference), will your life be about yourself and your rich friends or about others and the oppressed.

It has to do with compassion, and loving your neighbor. And that's one of the most important aspects of Christianity, besides the truth that people are lost in their sins and need to turn to Jesus in faith and repentance.

You misunderstood my point. The point was that it DOES "have to do with religion" in the sense that it SHARES the compassion perspective. But, given your apparent anti-religion stance, it seems you can't allow even that much to be admitted.

And, yes, the OBJECTIVE basis for human morality derives from positing monotheism. And the only self-consistent monotheistic religion is based on the Bible.

"Inherent human goodness" is a lie. It's "inherent human sinfulness" that's the reality.
