i have the same problem here... i already restore my iphone 3gs.. start new phone, but nothing hapen.. the problems is still exist!!! HELP PLS ... i dont know what to do!!
I have the SAME problem. i restored it like 10 to 15 times in a day..... & jailbreak n unlocked it. im having this SAME PROBLEM still. Anyone knows how to fix it ?? Is it coz, IOS 5.0.1 ?
I don't know if this'll solve the problem of yours, but i had a somewhat-like bugg were as my touch screen was not responding.
What i did was to put it in a PWNED DFU mode, were as you hold the power button for 3 sec, both the power and home button for 10 sec, and then let go of the power button and keep holding the home button, the device is now in PWND DFU, what i did after this, was simple holding the power and home button for 10 seconds, and lets the iDevice start, worked for me!
YOU TAP HOME BUTTON 2X THEN LOOK FOR PORTART ORIENTATION
