  • "the begining of downfall of the soviet union"

  • It's too bad nothing can be scavenged from anywhere near that area...just being there is a risk in itself

  • nagyon komoly haljak meg, nagyon kimennék bazzmeg

  • жизнь там замерла раз и навсегда...

  • Razokha :/

  • Very interesting... and the background musica too.... Nothing else matters... metallica :)

  • you are not afraid of radiation

  • the photo you are staing near an fruit truck was used to transport uranium or other radioactive particles its better to check for an doctor when you will come home :) (and in the truck may left some radioactive materials)

  • you are crazy !!! Fire truck hai 30 rotgens per hour 300 times more than normal dose for human per hour !!!

  • It's so sad to see the pictures of the families who once lived in those homes.

  • i find this difficult to masturbate to.

  • beautiful rendition of Nothing Else Matters

  • all those abandoned vehicles makes me want to cry:( i wish i could help them somehow, lol.

  • whats is the soundtrack?

  • @cyberlord07 I believe that's Apocalyptica's rendition of "Nothing Else Matters"

  • S.T.A.L.K.E.R. <3 xD

  • good video plus nice choice of music. metallicas noting else matters.

  • A word of caution to all of you who will one day go to the vheicle graveyard. DO NOT go near the helicopters. They flew right over Reactor #4 and still have an average of 30 Rotgens. I don't think that the people in the video were probably warned in advance.

  • the song fits perfectly with the dead atmosphere from chernobyl & pripyat

  • The thing I find most interesting is how untouched by time the helicopters seem.

  • seriously sorry kid i understand you are interested in the incident but most of these photos are irrelevant download this the called GOOGLE EARTH its fun super cool and you can see a lot more pictures that arent repeated there are SOME military vehicles around the area but not many

  • @KILLSWITCHnut You do know that they aren't from a military scrapyard. On Wikimapia the vehicles have the same position and there are pics of the place.

  • the beginning those pictures are from a military scrap yard one dead give away is the fact that the vehicle tracks around the vehicles are fresh and if it were anywhere near chernobyl exclusion zone it would be overgrown with vegetation also no government no matter how wealthy would abandon working vehicles like that in a nonwar setting

  • @KILLSWITCHnut They would if they were radioactive..

  • This was an awsome video...i feel like those choppers and stuff must be worth a lot along with all those vehicles...its a shame they were wasted due to radiation...thumbs up for this video! I Loveeee the video game and to see it in reality only sets the tone of the game and immersive factor up 10 fold! Im gonna go play Pripyat right now! Wooot!

  • question, is metallica - nothing else matters ( orcherstra version)?

  • @Dexter777 its apocalyptica look them up

  • The wild life thrives there, the radiation does not seem to hurt the animals, it could support the idea it's important what you eat.

  • 0:6 <3 the super bike coat

  • Theres a game called STALKER which has some of these areas recreated. It's an impressive and gloomy game.

  • I would like to walk around there

  • The thing is going in there could kill you later on in life?...i maybe wronge but i would keep out..any way great vid 5stars

  • I find this very interesting

  • That vehicle graveyard is very dangerous to enter, they must of had some balls to go into an area were vehicles give off 10-30 Retogen.

Thats millions of times normal, I would especially stay away from the firetrucks and helicopters. As these were some of the first vehicles to respawn to the scene and the ones to recieve the most radiation.

  • hey is that the only place in europe that has radiation

  • Actually the disaster effected many parts of Europe including Belarus,Ireland,Sweden and many other countries due to the fallout of the explosion. Belarus is 99% contaminated by radioactive components.

  • the radiation isnt anymore so high...no way near 30 Reotgen.but still dangerous

  • You would be surprised, some areas still have heavy contamination, not exactly 30 retogen in the graveyard.

  • @thenoobassassin IN SOVIET RUSSIA BALLS HAVE YOU! :D

  • @thenoobassassin Pretty sure their ''balls'' are mutated now.

  • @thenoobassassin Respawn? Wha? You mean respond I hope.

  • @Terrathrax No, i meant respawn as in they spontaneously generated at the shattered reactor :D (sarcasm)

  • @thenoobassassin Well if they did have balls, they're probably pretty useless after going in there.

  • @thenoobassassin yep that makes sense man ! those trucks are death
