the photo you are staing near an fruit truck was used to transport uranium or other radioactive particles its better to check for an doctor when you will come home :) (and in the truck may left some radioactive materials)
A word of caution to all of you who will one day go to the vheicle graveyard. DO NOT go near the helicopters. They flew right over Reactor #4 and still have an average of 30 Rotgens. I don't think that the people in the video were probably warned in advance.
seriously sorry kid i understand you are interested in the incident but most of these photos are irrelevant download this the called GOOGLE EARTH its fun super cool and you can see a lot more pictures that arent repeated there are SOME military vehicles around the area but not many
@KILLSWITCHnut You do know that they aren't from a military scrapyard. On Wikimapia the vehicles have the same position and there are pics of the place.
the beginning those pictures are from a military scrap yard one dead give away is the fact that the vehicle tracks around the vehicles are fresh and if it were anywhere near chernobyl exclusion zone it would be overgrown with vegetation also no government no matter how wealthy would abandon working vehicles like that in a nonwar setting
This was an awsome video...i feel like those choppers and stuff must be worth a lot along with all those vehicles...its a shame they were wasted due to radiation...thumbs up for this video! I Loveeee the video game and to see it in reality only sets the tone of the game and immersive factor up 10 fold! Im gonna go play Pripyat right now! Wooot!
That vehicle graveyard is very dangerous to enter, they must of had some balls to go into an area were vehicles give off 10-30 Retogen.
Thats millions of times normal, I would especially stay away from the firetrucks and helicopters. As these were some of the first vehicles to respawn to the scene and the ones to recieve the most radiation.
Actually the disaster effected many parts of Europe including Belarus,Ireland,Sweden and many other countries due to the fallout of the explosion. Belarus is 99% contaminated by radioactive components.

It's too bad nothing can be scavenged from anywhere near that area...just being there is a risk in itself

The thing I find most interesting is how untouched by time the helicopters seem.

The wild life thrives there, the radiation does not seem to hurt the animals, it could support the idea it's important what you eat.

You would be surprised, some areas still have heavy contamination, not exactly 30 retogen in the graveyard.
