@koolio143 wheelspin. wastegates will blow smoke like that if they're venting straight to atmosphere (aka screamer pipes here in australia) instead of into the dumps/exhaust. he doesn't have screamers.
car was laggy with t78 (old turbo) now has a much bigger bw 475 turbo with better respons and so far best time 10,90 with a 1.62 60ft. and best trap 214,3km/h
with 500rwhp you should be doing better than 12sec 1/4 on the street. your 205km/h terminal proves you have a fast car but your launch technique is only good for fast spooling twin turbo engines with lots of bottom end torque.
Actually 12 isnt bad for actually driving on the street. I went 12.54@114 with 1.99 60' on street tires at the track, but that was also hitting rev limiter at the top of 4th. And thats with my 462whp
@blown4six you can knock almost a second off your time by changing your techinique. 1.99s 60' is not impressive for the weight even for a streeter. you're bogging hard in 1st just as you release the clutch and you're losing lots of time waiting for boost to come on. then, you are losing time wheelspinning in 1st and 2nd as boost hits and bogging again in 3rd by shortshifting to get grip. instead modulate the throttle to keep a bit of wheelspin but stay off the limiter.

yeah I have never really understood why anyone would invest the money to do a single swap, especially a large one and not at least go with a half bridge or even the full bridge. my shit is na, running a carb and that bitch is still rockin a full bridge. you cannot beat the brap.
