These are two separate songs . . . in fact, I think I remember as a kid, when they first came out with this album, that the radio initially played them independent of each other, but that it was too much of a pain in the ass to stop the song exactly on time since there was such little space between the two songs that they just started playing them together . . . and the rest is history . . .
