can someone tell me why he got significatly lower scores than evgeni plushenko?

the only thing that he didnt do big was the double axel jump. other than that he did what evgeni did 4t loop 3t, 3L, and his spins were also faster.

@88droid He also received lower scores than Johnny Weir. His base value was already 5 points lower than Plushenko´s base value and probably he also lost points on GOE. I´m sure the 4+3 received -GOE. As you can see his spins here aren´t as good as usual, especially the last one, so I believe the GOE wasn´t very high either.

Stephane is one of those rare skaters that never ever stop improving. His artistry is truly unmatched, and I am so proud of him. Bravo, Stephane! He is truly the Prince of the Ice!

It was great. Stephen is very plastic. This is one of his virtues. He is very charismatic and mentally strong person. But, sorry to Stephan Olympic Champion you far. Sorry, but true. He won with Plushenko - is a big victory

Really, who else can skate like this?! Stephane is amazing! Although some times the jumps betrayed him, on the ice (spins, step sequence, choreography) no one can touch him...Stephane is a beautiful skater...One of the greatest!

Yeah they were saying...you have to jump like Plushenko and skate like Lambiel...you would have perfect skater.

I find they are likely to suffer either a) hip injuries or b) knee injuries. Too bad knee injuries have kept him in early retirement.

Unlike some skaters his program components is SUPERB, Look at the transitions before the jumps, the quality of the way before he executes his jumps, spins and footwork is uncomparable to the other skaters. He feels the music, you can see how he skates- he skates with the beat of the music.

Oh Stephane, why must you be so gorgeous? ***Sigh*** If he were just a bit stronger on his jumps, no other skater would have a prayer of beating him ... the quality of his skating is outstanding, it's so sad to see the jumps trip him up sometimes . . .
