Love the Dead. It's in my blood and veins. First show 86 (wish it could have been earlier but I was too young). I just have a hard time with these Dead tribute acts. This guys looks just like Jerry from a distance yes. The guy from Dark Star Orchestra sounds just like Jerry and is a better player than this guy (in my opinion). But I just can't get into these Dead tribute bands. Nothing against anyone who does.

@Gossage54 Its sad to say, but its all over now (no reference intended) and time to let go. Phish is where its at nowadays. I finally came to this conclusion at Furthur last week. Saw The Dead a few times in 03 and 04 and was great but not stellar.....Phish on the other hand is the only thing that gets me rockin and dancing. Every other show I ever go to I just end up feeling dissapointed after its over.

@mase5701 but for $20 or so to go party at Toad's and have some GD music being played is still a blast. Just saying you can't expect any high expectations (that is, high, relative to what the GD was)
