i guess it depends on who's style of music you like more. for me, leehom has more of western trends on his music. Jay Chou has his owen style as well, but his more like on the eastern side. (like FA RU XUE and DONG FENG PO)

For their popularity, they're both very popular in china, but i guess Jay Chou is a bit more popular. ;]
