I wanna ride :-( i have flown all kinds of planes in flight simulators and stuff but never a real one. the only thing i ever been in was a CH-47 chinook. we had one come to my high school for a demo back when i was still young. out shop teacher was retired special forces. he got them to land the heli in back of the school. it was awsome. it was relavent to what we were doing in shop class. ill never forget it.

@ninjafatballz -- actually most GA planes have direct drive. Rotax power is at 5000 to 6000 rpm so a gear keeps prop sub sonic and very efficient

ok so in other words if you had direct drive or even 2 to 1 you would be incredibly fast because of the high RPM of that engine, and you are trying to avoid that, is this correct?
