Thanks a lot for the review. Been on the fence about this strap for quite awhile as the black rapid straps also looked quite promising. But, I think you just convinced me as I finally got an idea of how long this strap really is and, like you, I wasn't convinced that the mechanism on the black rapid would hold my soon to be mine d300s and my current 70-200mm combo.
