I am not an extremely smart person (but my grandpa was a physicist and astronomer from Columbia and Syracuse Universities), but if someone gets a "4" GPA, no significant figures are required, thus it is a perfect "4" and the "point zero" would not be required, am I right? In addition some schools used a "6.0" scale for many years such as Purdue, and other schools today may use such scales.

I was supposed to have graduated in '08, but I didn't because I had too many thoughts of dropping out and my grades flopped. So I was held back for a year to pass my classes, but I had to stay a month later, because my GPA couldn't cut it.
