I suggest typing "kids music" in youtube and listening to those cheery songs ;)

  • @amoobooghi what

  • persina string instrunments are always played 1/8th out, that whay if you are not used to it it sounds out of tune...... Perfect.... When and where is the concert please?

  • its niceeeee, i love ittt , zende baaad

  • Really nice.

  • sounds in tune to me

  • Hahahahahah, mate I appreciate your western ears, but I'm afraid this is how 'music' sounds around here. And believe me the tuning is not a coincidence, not at all.

    Best regards from Istanbul.

  • not special

  • Amazing!

  • I was delighted to see her play at the Iranian Festival in Seattle, two days ago.

  • Beautiful, enjoyed it, bravo Sahba and thanks for sharing.

  • I wonder if she can shred on an Electric Guitar =P

  • Wow...this is so amazing. She's a fantastic musician, I've seen her perform in person. I wish I could learn the tar, but learning all those crazy quarter tones would be so hard.

  • To all the posters in this channel. This video is posted to share love of Iranian music not for you to have a soapbox to voice your political/religious ideology or opinion. There are other channels you can go to rant. Please respect this channel.

  • this makes me cry...........

Love it! I am so proud of my country men and women! Islam will never can challenge our culture! That is a fact!

  • islam is a GOOD thing. it's the idiot mullahs that COMPLETELY misinterpret it.

  • islam was spread by the sword............

  • shambayati195,

Just read a bit of your history to know what your religion of AHRIMAN did to your ancestors! At least read "TARIKH AL TABARI" or "FARSNAMEH" or Tarikh-e Balkh" or .. before making such a fool statement! Shame on religion of BANDITS!

  • Playing with so much confidence it needs skills and experience. well done.

    we enjoy your music daily.

  • La holabana?=O

  • allah u abha, inshallah hamisheh movaffaghbaashi

  • Heerlijke muziek. Georgeous music.

  • Personaly as a Tar player myself i dont like playing Tar like this,As one of friends said playing fast like that is just childish and makes you like an unexperianced guy.

The music has to be heart taker and The Blandisher of soul.

If you want to see the most fast player that is surely Keivan saket ,you even cant somtimes understand the movments of his hands when he goes crazy! lol but like i said playing fast doesnt make it good.

  • I do not necessarily like fast tar or setar music. Actually I first made acquaintance with Persian music (and learned to love it) when I heard (some 15 years ago) Dariush Tala'i play the tar (and later on also the setar), whom one can hardly accuse of being a fast player ;-) Nevertheless: I enjoyed your video very much. Thank you.

  • what else can you say, when you cant play as fast?

  • Besides being the most beautiful Musician she is the best Tar player in the world!

  • anything nice gets repelling when mixed with or attached to religion of one kind or another. This is Persian music and whoever tries to take advantage of it to promote certain religios tendencies, whether it is Islam, Bahai or soofigari, it is absurd. This lady plays nice music and is very talented but I don't believe it has anything to do with her religion even if she is apparently playing in a religious gathering of Bahais.

  • Zende bad hamvatan ha ye gole Bahai moon.

  • It reminds me of raga mishra pilu, shivranjini, and similar ragas, of minor scale.

Wonderfull, I would like to meet this talented lady one day.

    musically yours

    RD

  • brilliant.

  • afarin

  • Not very delicate or artistic. Little melodic content, a lot of fast playing. Composition zilch. All thanks to Vaziri and later, Alizadeh's crappy approach to art.

  • I listen to it when ever I can...And I find it just fabulous. Of course, this music talks to me and touches me,

  • Safa!

  • the source are from the turkisch groups in Asia.

  • awesome performance

  • merc ostad!

  • Fast playing does not make good music. It is more challenging to play slow & command attention. If you scored the music (shekasteh mahour, delkash, raak etc. 12/16=6/8) or listened to it slowly, you'd realize it has a very mediocre content, very average. She is not beating the tar nor making love to it. She is young and gets a kick from playing fast & getting attention. Once again, it is far more difficult to play slow and still sustain the attention of the audience. Compare to Bahary.

  • hey if it's your opinion fine, but say so, otherwise, if you think you can do better then lets see it!

It's really easy to be a complainer, let's see if you can play faster or more exciting than this virtuoso better.

  • you didn't get the point, did you? read again.

  • First of Nahoft dont know who you are, and dont care to know who you are but Bahary was more then a master of the Tar he was what many who know anything about Iranian music would call a grandmaster so for you to even compare this girl to Bahary is wrong. No one can ever be like Bahary he was one of a kind and never again will anyone play like Bahary.

So thanks for making yourself stupid, Bravo

  • Bahary was a master of the kamancheh not tar. Now who is the ignorant here? What she is playing is hard to play but it is not a complex piece. She sure has a better technique than 99.9% of all Persian musicans out there. However, you can write pieces that are not complex but very difficult to play. Those are two different things. That said, intimacy is a whole different dimension that is lacking here. This piece is hard to play yet it is quite simple in content and lacks intimacy.

  • Dasteh Ostadet Dard Nakoneh, and You... have it all.

  • you mean fariborz azizi?

  • Excellent Playing with feeling, very nice...

Thank you, a trip to Esfahan?

  • Jesus christ namiaa do you have any idea what the fuck your talking about?

And Fooruge...umm...maybe you should get you ears checked.

Namiaa she is practically making love to the intstrument, how is she fighting? Have you even seen this instrument get played before?

Oh, i forgot...maybe ur dumbass just knows how to shove in their ass...

Be proud of this woman, i have only seen but a handful of her clips and she plays beatifully with passion...

    SabaJOON....Keep it darvish.

    angooshtat talas!

  • 1.Tune your tar 2.dont fight with the instrument 3.play more precised 4.show a little bit feeling and your music sounds better pirooz bashid.

  • what are you doing? do you think you are a musician i can't hear any music from your tar.

  • iam proud of iranian weman

  • great!

  • I cannot stop my emotional state and reaction to the good sound of Tar. I do not claim to be an audial expert at all, though I think this young lady is outstandingly good, and I admire her.

Her performance is amazingly genetic.. Well-done dear Sahba. My late mother finished Honarestan Mosighi Shahnazi in Tehran in 1938. My Grandfather used to play with Tar --e- Yahya Khan; I think they would say the same to you as Tarists, if they were with us to listen to you.

    M. Soheili.

  • Shire madaret halal!!!!

    :-)

  • would you please tell me who made your TAR? the sound of instrument is quite well, better is the player

  • kaf kardam

  • damn, shes like jimi

  • music is very very good.

    actually it was awesome.

i might tell the cameraman not to do the extreme facial closeups. it looks very unprofessional on the cameramans part.

and there was nothing unprofessional about that performance.

  • opfaaaaaaaaaaa

  • Excellent. The Indian Sitar probably came from the Persian SETAR. Would it not be neat if this young lady and Ustad Shujat Hussain of India played a duet with drummers from both countries. We need music and harmonies and not wars.

  • soul uplifting, wonderful, your tar took me to the world of beauty and joy. I became a bird and free from sorrows, may God bless you.

  • wonderful player

  • There arent many persians in Luxembourg :) But I am one aswell :P

  • How dare you to put this shamefu advertisement on this divine music video clip! Learn some manner, life is not just money! learn some humanity from this little girl playing so nicely !

  • please forget about LOTFI's horrible style playing! Listen to Ostad Jalil Shahnaz. you have a good technic but give some sense and feelings to your music!

  • shahnaz was a sheereen navaz (sweet-player) with little melodic content.

  • wow , incredible performance , bravo , vaghan khaste nabashi
