Um. I have two cockatiels but I am selling one. How could I keep my first cockatiel and have him live a happy life without another cockatiel around him? I have max one hour alone time with him, and a whole day with other animals around. The cat and dog do not bother the birds.
Well it depends where you get them. They make good pets. The more important question is... What do you want to get out of your relationship with the bird? The I have a large pretty bird on my shoulder ... COOL Factor doesn't count. I mean more like how long you want it to live and can you guarantee that in ten years you will still be spending 2 hours a day with it, every day?
I was just thinking about Harlie's previous owner...I wonder if he knows how much fun she has getting into this much trouble! :D I also wonder how much this "tough" biker knows how much his birdie is being loved.

I spend mostly all my money on my bird most of the time, she is the only pet I have left and is my baby!
what a wonderful idea for a parrot toy Charro would love that gonna have buy him several on our next trip to walmart. Sure looks they had a blast destroying it.
