  • He might have limes disease that's what my QH had. Sooooooooo much sweeter now! Test him

  • Your brave you should be proud of yourself:) I hate it when people give up on horses! I never gave up on my welshy and she now competes against 16.2s and wins:)! never give up! Tbf i ould of done the same thing if you have no other way of stopping them/turning then the best thing to do is jump off its not worth risking both lives at all! Id of done the same!<3

  • Wow, the accident sounds really bad :( Hope you still have him and are making great progress. He looks lovely and you look like a great rider. Look, let the haters hate, they're so not worth it !! Never give up!! I have a pony & hes 6 and hes my first pony ever (im 11) and ive had him since may 2011 and ive had difficulties with him but im building so much confidence with him now, so i hope thats what happens with you and lewi. WELL DONE!! xxxxxxxx

  • you should SO keep him girly i know you can do it! JUST KEEP TRYING!

  • That sounds scary! Thank goodness you are alright!

  • what happened?

  • I had the same dispute with my old thoroughbred. he was such a sweet horse (to me) and he really did love me, but towards the end of our show season he wouldn't leave long. when i first got him he would stop. and then he would take off when we were jumping. he just wasn't very safe. i hope you figure out something that works for you! i'm so lucky to have found my dream horse!

  • Any horse can be 'turned around' with the right training. A really good instructor can make all the difference. Good luck and don't give up!

  • you accident sound horrible! I rode a pony that bolted with me but i headed him for a gate hoping he would jump it overwise i would of been on the road a busy road. luckily he didn't jump it but i knew he could if he wanted to! no way near as scary as your accident though!

  • ok glad to hear it sorry for asking that question xxx

  • what happened to him Natialie i read the desc but dont understand if he died or stayed alive x

  • @Sovereign100000 well iv just given him his dinner so i think hes still alive xxx

  • my horse who i love to pieces started to rear and buck and run riot, he had his back, teeth and everything checked and there was nothing wrong, people told me he was too much horse for me then one day after blood sweat tears and a few trips to the hospital courtesy of my boy i got on his back and he was like a completely different horse, nothing had changed but that day something clicked now everytime we achieve something together,im more proud of him than ever. youve done so well, never give up:)

  • your an amazing person. never give up. please sub back xxx

  • Im so glad your both okay when i read the info i cried :'( i love that about people

my horse is the only thing i trust and when i ride another horse i feel unsafe

he broke my hand about a year ago by standing on it but hes such a babe and hes the only thing for me :) love the video very sweet xxxx

  • Im so glad your both okay when i read the info i cried :'( i love that about people

  • dont do anything you will regret it seems like you love him too much to let him go

  • @bobtheotter101 tell you what?

  • Comment removed

  • the accident sounds so bad, you are so so lucky to still have your own life & your horses...yous are amazing together<3

  • i think you did the right thing by letting go. you guys both could have died but im happy you guys weird alright

  • thats the worsed thing i have ever herd. I mean about the accident. i hope you and lewi are ok x

  • i think u did the right thing more people care about you then anyone cares him people love him but you have a family and life ahead of you i know how you feel im 13 and when i was 10 i was on my pony and we were on the mountains he did the same thing i jumped off and went to go see him if he was alive but he fell and splat his head pooped off and was flat like a pancake i still have dreams about him he was the best pony you could have and it all atrted because of a deer

  • @s08134421 Thats horrid i am sorry. Did he die?

  • @milliesos yes

  • How is he too dangerous for you??

  • @Shaysta2 Just seen this comment. You really wouldnt no untill you have a horse like him or see him in the flesh. Trust me. I have had the vet offer to put him down. I thought he could have a brain problem but with out spending £$£$£ on it and then putting him down if it turns out he does il never no whats wrong with him. I cant say hes happy and i cant say hes not but hes out in the field and every one is still alive so i think hes fine.

  • @s08134421 thats awfull!

  • @s08134421 This comment made me cry x

  • You did the right thing, letting go of him. You should not regret your desision.

  • Well done for not selling him, he looks like a fab horse and that was an awful freak accident, Good luck for the future x x

  • Can someone please tell me what does ''bolted down'' mean cause i'm greek...thnx

  • You're very brave, I love my pony to bits but I know I would have made the same decision.

  • He's a beauitul little pony, you should find something you are both good at and most importantly ENJOY keep happy hacking and ignore what happened. I think you would do well in showing (I find it boring but you might not?!) Also dressage is a good thing for you two to get to know each other then you can move on to something bigger! enjoy hope ii helped you xxx

  • Well done for keeping him, no horse is beyond repair (In my opinion) I don't know you, but I'm glad you persevered! Don't beat yourself up about the fall, what's done is done - and you did the right thing.

Too many people would have just given up on him, glad to hear you didn't - Keep at it! Xxxx

  • aww I love the video, I cant imagine having to sell my horse :/

  • wow i cant imagine having to do that.... it was the right thing thou and if you didnt let yourself fall it would have been a lot worse for both of you. i hope everything works out for you and lewi :)

  • so did he die just a question?

  • @PikawolfProductions read the info

  • its a brave thing 2 do, let go of a horse at full gallop.

  • I have watched your vids so many times and i cry everytime i couldn't imagine what you went through and still are going through, i know i look up to you and iam proud of you i would never give up on my horse if that happened i love him to much dont give up

    much love Donna

  • you are so brave having to see your horse o off the side of a cliff, and clever for getting of because you wouldn't of survived that, x :)

  • i know what got him to be mean or differint

  • whoaa..

looks like you live(d) somewhere nice, with the beach and the mountains and all..

    and GORGEOUS horse(:

i've been riding for 8 years now and couldn't imagine what it would be like to be in your place with the accident and have to either endanger you and your horse, or just your horse.... x(

i feel so bad. i do hope you managed to keep him in the end.

  • so what did you do to your self so you diddent break ya neck withch is soooooooooo good but what was the pop noise

  • That's a real beauty of a horse u have there. What happened to u guys about a cliff sorry just don't understand:)

  • this inspired me. my horse is very unpredictable and unreliable. i cant let my guard down for one second, because i never know when hes going to explode. he only pigroots bad, and is one sided. i really want to give him time and see how he goes but everyones telling mum to break my heart and get him away from me, because he's dangerous to me. i've been in tears several times because of this. i know they dont want me to get hurt, but i love my horse. we have a bond and i cant let that go. help??

  • Aww. How is he?

  • OMG thats such a terrible accedent!!! haha i think u too are perfect together no matter what!!! he is a gorgeous pony!! i hope u keep him forever!=)

  • you could keep him a a companion pony? that way you could keep him and love him but it would be hard for anyone to get hurt. i feel really sorry for you about your accident and couldn't think how scary it was when you saw him go off the cliff and you and him were very lucky that could of ended his life. you must have very quick reactions to have known to let go!xxx

  • DO YOU STILL HAVE HIM IM CONFUSED AND IF YOU DONT IS HE IN A GOOD HOME

  • @pepcore1 Yes i still have him. Hes a lot better now

  • Well you know what you are a great rider and he is a great horse it was not your fought his ether we all have flaghs I am glade you kept with him!! if rideing were easy it woul be called fooot ball :)

  • If it's alright with me asking... but what happened in your accident?

  • what happened?

  • @HorseStruckOx Thanks very much. This video was over 2 years ago and this all happend over 2 years ago. I still have the horse and he is very happy and healthy so i really dont see why people feel the need to say this stuff. Arrr well guess you take the good with the bad. Thanks Natalie xxx

  • @milliesos i know. and your welcome! your so lucky to have such amazing horses now!! xxx

  • Comment removed

  • @HorseStruckOx Look, I apologize for what I said, because this is really bothering me and bringing me down. I really didn't mean to hurt anyone's feelings or piss anyone off, which is why I deleted my comments. I was trying to point out that I think this could have been avoided if she was a little more careful and that I suggest (see next comment)

  • Comment removed

  • (Please realize I was NOT trying to be offensive at all, and I understand what this feels like. I was just stating my opinion that I don't think you should have blamed your horse and that I hope you don't give up on him.)

  • @MiseryMare I THINK you need to grow the hell up. A horse is a lot stronger than i am. When a horse takes flight, theres not much you can do to stop it. When your faced with a cliff and you no your horse is not going to stop!!!! come back and tell me all about it. Untill then GET LOST. Thanks

  • Comment removed

  • @milliesos damn she said she was sorry!!! gollee why dont YOU grow the hell up and learn to accept an apology!!!

  • @selsel8 WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT!!

  • @MiseryMare so you think she told him to bolt off?? if she wanted for him to bolt she wouldve kept kicking and told him to jump off the cliff with her on his back, are you thick. you cant stop a horse bolting unless you can do the emergency stop and on a narrow path you cant,.,... stop being a no it all bitch

  • @horse4051 This was posted a long time ago, and I already apologized. Grow up and stop commenting.

  • @MiseryMare

Ok darling, you really dont have a clue.

  • It seems like you love him and if u really do u 2 with find a way together to work everything out!

  • i think you are doing the right thing..i would fight with all of my might to keep him...i would never let go a life long pal unless i absolutly had to

  • This is my opionion I think you should keep him. I like him alot :)

  • @milliesos Also, (another comment xD) try getting your mom and other people he is aggressive to alot to try Join Up with him, after you have done it with and it has worked. The more people he trusts, the better. You should also get your mom (as you said he hates her) to try using T-Touch on him in the stable and work up to join up, but only when he is calm and safe for her to be near. I am not an expert, these are just suggestions, but I hope they work and I really advise trying them :)

  • @RandomIsTheWord thanks very much. Once we move house il give it ago. I have just got my self a unhandled welsh cob (smame breed as Millie and Lewi) who is rising 2 and a colt, il try it with him if i can ever catch him again once i turn him out lol

  • @milliesos thats nice u got a new colt could u post a vid of him and how old is lewi in this and how old is he now

  • @nacomagenic Hay thanks for your comment. Lewi will be 6 on the 27th of May. I have owned him for 3 years on the 18th of may. He was 3 and a half in this video i think, cant remember. My colt is 2 the same day Lewi is 6. I do not have him yet as he is old enough to breed with my mare hahaha so hes still at the stud for another 2 weeks I HOPE.

  • @milliesos oh thats awesome so millies gonna be a mom and thats great i hope ur new colt turns out just as great as lewi

  • @milliesos (continued) Although many will shun alternative methods like Join Up (even people like your vet, but it doesn't hurt the horse so is worth a try), it is speaking to the horse in his own language and is proven to work. Look up some sessions on youtube too, with Monty Roberts or other trainers etc. I really think it would help Lewi know you understand him and trust you. If you do try this stuff out or have already, please let me know, I would love to see how it works out :) Good luck!

  • @milliesos I think you should try Join Up, if you haven't already :) If you haven't, it's a Monty Roberts method of building a stable relationship with your horse, on trust and no force. Research it and be clear on what you are doing, and maybe try it :) It could work, and make you and Lewi's relationship better. I have heard T-Touch by Linda Tellington Jones (possibly?) can work to calm a horse, as can lavender drops. However you should consult your vet first. (next comment continues)

  • OMG! is he ok now...what finally had to happen i dont get it

  • @webkinzSLC He broke his splint bone. Hes ok now and i still have him. Hes doing showjumping now and lots of showing under saddle. Hes doing very well but still a crazy mule haha

  • OMG you guys are so mean..i know what your going through but i am glad you didnt sell him cus i kept mine who was like that and now we are fine..glad you and your horse are ok..nice video by the way :D x

  • i think it's cind a stupid to make a video like this and put it out on the internet ?

  • @HeleneElskerFalkis oh well. My video and this was over 2 years ago darling!

  • @HeleneElskerFalkis then dont watch it genius. not your business if you cant have the heart to appreciate this kind of story.

  • @PotterYouRotter7 oh gosh. give it a break!

  • @HeleneElskerFalkis just sayin.

  • @MsSwingin how the hell can you say that it is not lways the riders fualt a horse has so much more power than us sometime's it is us but not always dont you think that if a horse wanted somthing eneough it could get it with its strengh they are much stronger than us.

  • he is a very pretty horse, hope things work out for the pair of you, accidents happen, lucky you or he did not get hurt worse, dont blame you for not wanting to part with him, sometimes no matter whatmwe develop a huge bond with an animal regardless if they harm us,we try to work thru it,great that you are trying, where someone else would of given him a much worse fate.

  • Have you ever thought that the reason why you two didn't get hurt was because yall are right for each other?

  • theres nothing wrong with him if he had wanted to hurt you he would have done it after he went off a cliff but you got on him and rode him home ... ever thought he could have got a fright and bolted???? he totally looks dangerous! haha

  • @charlotteschinchilla Did i say he wanted to hurt me? Hes had 3 years to do so. The first week i had him he kicked me in the face.

You really cant tell anything from a youtube video hun. I moved yards with him in December and after 9 weeks i got kicked off because he wouldnt let a woman out the field for 30 mins and was very agressive towards every one. Hes a star around me but HATES MY MUM, she cant be alone with him or he will go for her. Oh i do wish one day you come to see him, would be fun

  • @milliesos I agree u cant tell anything from a video ! i hope you are ok now !

  • I dont know what people have been saying but every horse is dangerous! anything can happen at any moment. You and your horse clearly have a great bond and you ride him SOO well! keep up the good work and dont listen to any of the bs that people have to say that he is bad. Everyone has their bad days and good days including horses.

  • It is never the horse, always the human. If you do what you've always done, you get what you've always gotten. Try another path like parelli or a classical riding instructor and have his back checkt.

  • @MsSwingin

Had his back, teeth ect all looked at.

  • It is never the horse, always the human. If you do what you've always done, you get what you've always gotten. Try another path like parelli or a classical riding instructor and have his back checkt.

  • My riding instructors horse is the meanest horse! He warns all students to stay a metre away from his stall cause he lunges and bites. He once jumped half way over a fence trying to get one of us. But when he goes over to rocky (the horse) rocky doesn't try to bite, he looks cranky and stuff but he's got a soft spot for my instructor and never once does he play up in the saddle for him! Some horses will be cranky pusses their entire lives except for one person! I hope for Lewi thats you!

  • @EveDarkAngel666 Yes thats what he is like. I can do what ever i like to him but others have to be carefull around him. He hates my mum for some reason and she cant go near him any more. I put all horses out last night insted of getting my brother pony in before i put Lewi put and Lewi full on attacked him. I couldnt stop him. He just kept kicking him and running him over and pushing him to the floor.

  • @milliesos Oh wow that sounds bad, maybe he doesn't like your mum because he knows she doesn't trust him. We have a horse at our riding school called Kiarra and she frequently corners other horses and double barrels them over and over. Its really awful.

  • Wow...you know, i would suggest you look up 'parelli natural horsenmanship' you could really go far with it! its an amazing concept and when i first got my pony she was in a flash and nutcracker bit, with a tendency to bolt. Now, a year later, and i can walk and trot bareback and completly bridleless, with nothing more than a bit of string around her neck. If you want to help your pony, understand his feelings better, have him want to be with you and offer to do things for you, then i think pa

  • i once knew a horse called conran. he was a 6 yr old cob and an absolute nightmare but when everyone gave up on him i diddnt. before i left the stables on my last lesson i8 was given the choice of two other horses lady or mysterie but i said if i could ride conran.so anyway i was supposed to be jumping a 1m cross but wasnt allowed incese he bucked me off. i jumped it anyway, they sayhe is a changed pony and im glad of it. NEVER GIVE UP ON HIM!!!!

  • @koopatroopa007 you know nothing about her horses so why comment

  • @koopatroopa007 thats really SAD

  • @koopatroopa007

Thats great news. Thank you for your input, shows what an amazing person you are. I hope you have a nasty accident and will never be able to have kids!!

  • @koopatroopa007 u know ur an awful person.why would u ever WANT a girl and her horse to have an awful accident?!?!?how would u like it if someone said that to you!and what if someone did get seriously hurt!?!?!?then how bad would u feel?and her horse is gorgeous!i think u have some problems that need to be taken care of ;)

  • @koopatroopa007

You're pathetic. Her horse is amazing and even if he's a bit of a butt at times. :P I'm glad you're doing this! To Many people give up on horses way to easily. I work at a barn where we have a slightly demented TB cross mare. Everyone refused to work with her until the owner decided to sell her. I didn't want to see her go so I volunteered to work with her. Several nasty falls and cracked spine later she's an amazing horse and doesn't give me any issues at all.

  • @koopatroopa007

honestly ya know how sick, aggravating, unsensitive, self centered you are? btw if you r to stupid to know what all that means which is highly likely, its all BAD and an excact definitiion of what you are.

GO GET A LIFE INSTEAD OF LOOKING FOR BAD THINGS THAT HAPPEN TO OTHER PEOPLE FOR YOUR ENTERTAINMENT

  • @koopatroopa007 TROLL ALERT.

  • @koopatroopa007 i dont generally do this sort of thing but... I HOPE YOU BURN IN HELL, YOU ARE A TERRIBLE HUMAN BEING.

  • 22 people obviously have no idea the way a bond with a dangerous anmal can cause. you are amazing for keeping him. living through the downs and focusing on he up.

  • @theHORSElover14

They all looked at this video to see the horse or I have a accident, so many sick people out there xxx

  • dw i have a 14.2 welsh cob aswell and he rears loads!!!! some timed i thought whether it was time to say good bye cause i wud get so cross wiv him! but now i am a bit stronger and older i can control him easyer so just keep going eventualy he will realize that you mean business and that you love him! well done! it must have been hard for you to let him go but, he was testing your trust in him and purposly did it knowing he would be ok just to see if u really loved him ad u DID! x u go gur! <3

  • my 14.2 welsh cob rears badly aswell! it was all fine until we came to a road works...i reared vertical i slid off the saddle and was sitting on his bum, he bolted down the road round a bend and shot off to the stables, by the time we got there i cudnt hold on any longer and let go just as we got to the stable but unfortunatly i landed on a wall and had u purple bruise going across my bum for a month! there have been times when i think 'is he really the right horse for me?' Just keep going!

  • i love this video you shouldnt give him up, your doing right day getting him right. hope you still have him :) xx

  • @BabyPrincess4ever11

Yes i still have him. Hes doing well but still only a one person horse. Got me kicked off a new yard for being agressive, i guess thats the way he will always be. x

  • Lord, girl, If god didn't want you two to be..He would've let Lewi die when he ran off that cliff...but he didn't...never give up on Lewi...ever.. : ]

  • I am so sorry about your accident... I have a great passion for horses and animals in general. Its hard when we let our human emotions blind us from what our animals are really feeling. I don't think you have a bad horse, I don't think there is a bad horse out there. I think somewhere we go wrong and we confuse them. Horses are very sensitive to our body language and sometimes they pick up on things we don't even know we are feeling. I will pray for the both of you. Can you tell me the song

  • ye well done but i think that yur getting a bit big for him dont u think so ?? :)

  • @MsShannonbabe

I am 21 years old and have been 5ft6 since i was 16 and i have had him for 3 years so HOW can i BE GETTING to big for him when iv been the same hight for years? Hes 14.2hh and a welsh cob darling. Do a little googleing on the breed before you comment back. I have just got a new section D colt thats not going to be any bigger than 15hh lol

  • well done for being so brave :) good luck with whatever you decide to do :) ever thought of looking at monty robert methods? just a suggestion :)

  • I had a house like that he would buck and rear and my sister worked with him. My advice, take a break in riding him and groundwork or just talk to him and try saddles that secure you more especially if he bucks and rears. If you question my experience I will tell you that I have not had horses for long but, I worked with hard horses because I owned them and they turned out much better due to natural horsemanship. Hope you keep him

  • Have you ever read "Renegade Champion: The Unlikely Rise of Fitzrada"? It's a true account of a horse that the military was going to put down due to untrainability, and this girl convinced her father to buy him. She had hard times - including a day that started ok until Fitz just broke into a dead-out run and endangered a lot of people. She ended up taking him to the Olympics later. It's a wonderful (true) story, and it sounds like you'd appreciate it.

Hope things get better for Lewi and you :]

  • @schadenfreude93 Turn away means to let them be out in a field or not do any work with them and to let them be horses. I left him with out any sort of work because i went to work on a stud farm in America and he needed to just chill and grow up. Most people around here back a young horse and then leave him for a few months to grow up. xx

  • @schadenfreude93 woppssies wrong person lol x

  • OMG my pony always takes of with me...sometimes i hope for the best and somtimes i just let go...i had to choose between my xbestfriend and my pony..i choose my pony and i will never ever forget the look on my friends face when i told him it was my pony.. :( but i dont care bcuz i no i made the right decision and i would never regret it :) my pony means the world to me :) i hope u and your pony are getting on better now ? r youse ? xxxxxxxxxxxxx

  • part of the equestrian life has to do with hard choices, and life-threatening ones to. i think every true equestrian will go through this atleast once. i am glad you kept him...i would have done the same thing. i love my horse so much, and even tho i have almost died on him so many times, i would nvr get rid of him...he has become a part of me.

  • ...i'm so glad that you two are okay and working again... i know it had to be really freaking scary to get back on after something that bad. i was scared to get on after floping a jump HAVING to fall off and let you horse go off the cliff would have made me too scared to get on any horse ever again your really REALLY brave

  • I'm glad you didn't give up on him. He looks like he will jump moutons for you. Horses are complicated, I know, I have two. My 16 year old quarter horse likes to act up a lot and people say he's too much for me, but I don't listen cause I love him to death and I'm not going to give up on him ever. Keeping him proves that you are a good horse master. I applaud you for that.

  • he is gorgez is he better bare back and bittles?

  • can i ask you a question?

I own a 15hh welsh cob gelding, and like your Lewi.. he has come very close to killing me. But he would never hurt you on purpose! he's just so scared..

Now i know your probably not a horse expert of anything... but do you think if i turned my horse away it would help him?

    Thank you (:

  • @bellellie96 Hay. Its hard to say with out seeing him or you telling me a little bit more. PM me if you like xx

  • You are an AMAZING rider . I would not have been even able to think if my horse had gone off a cliff. I'v trained a horse and he bolted with me twice but I didn't let go.

But then you so smart knowing that you could have both died you let the only thing that matters to you most go down. YOU GO GIRL

  • thats right! newer give him up, cuz he means so much to you, think: "its me, or him" then u se if u love him on the answer... i hadd the same problem with a friend of mine, but i lost him, cuz i answerd wrong. u dont know what u have until its gone forever!

  • ... glad you didn't give up because the friendships that have been through thick and thin always come out the other side stronger and i know (as you probably do) that i have a friend for life in grenville and i have swore he will stay with me right till the end!

  • @DeathKitty123456

Well thats an amazing story, so nice to see that. I still have him. I moved him in December to a new yard with sand schools. On sunday we got kicked off because he had gotten so agressive and wouldnt let a lady go out the field and kept running at her. He was mounting the geldings and being more and more stallion like. He is a gelding and all the other horses are much bigger than him.

  • @milliesos my friends orse does that so he is in a private paddock now although he doesn't try to mount the geldings just the mares, maybe you can find a yard that has private paddocks? And at my yard we have a very aggressive gelding that tries to kick you at the gate but my horse pushes me in the corner and chases him away, its kind of sweet :). I hope you get through your rough patch and i hope you find a yard that is right for you, our yard is pretty perfect if you live in north yorkshire?

  • ...(sorry this is so long stop readind if you get bored lol) i was heartbroken and i had three choices, 1. hope he survived the operation, 2. sell him at auction or 3. put him down. I chose the op and he had 3 months box rest afterwards and e was a nightmare coming back into work but i didn't give up on him and now me and grenville are the perfect team despite our other problems now (he has more medical stuff) but i will never give up we have been going strong for a year now touch wood! I am ...

  • ...*continued* he started to buck. Yes he was strong, bolshy and spooky but he NEVER bucked... Something was wrong. Sell him everyone told me, he is too much for you and you can't give him the training he needs he is just taking the mick but i knew he wouldn't buck, turned out he had kissing spine and had shockwave treatment and afterward when he was better i started hacking again and having lessons he was going amazing then the bucking and kissing spine was back less than a year later...

  • I know exactly how you felt, i got my first horse 2 and a half years ago after riding for 11 years beforehand so i got a project, a racehorse just out of racing. I LOVED him but on my second ever hack out on him about a month after buying him he threw me off and trampled me on my face, arm and chest. I was in hospital for a while but a week later i was back on board but my confidence had gone and i wouldn't leave the yard on him. After another 6 month of schooling and road work (not far)...

  • omg such a beautiful hose! i am so glad you are both ok did you sell him or get him put down or what? great vid

  • very moving video, and you did the right thing, im sure i would have done the same. he is such a stunning horse, i know what its like, we have a welsh i had a bad experiance on him, and people said he never come right, but my instructor has got him to be amazing in dressage, just when i get on him all i remeber is the bolting and thats what he does, so i dont ride him anymore, its a shame where selling him but thats all we can do.....

  • i had a horse like this i had to make the decision to sell him, he loved men but hated women because he had been abused by a women trainer i spent a year tryin to earn his trust but i just couldnt afford to keep him if i couldnt ride him let alone get close to him, he was a gorgouse pasa fino, the time came where i had to sell him, sold him to a nice gentleman for 100 dollars

  • dont listen to what people say, they won't ever understand him the way you do, and he looks like he's going to be spectacular when he's older xx

  • I've brought round 3 horses so far that ppl said would never be any good, 1 was going to be shot, she is now doing dressage, 1 is doing style and appearance and in hand at shows, the other is going out into the show world this year.

So what im saying is YOU CAN DO IT NEVER GIVE UP, TAKE A STEP BACK SOMETIMES TO MOVE FORWARD!

    GOOD LUCK HUNNY

  • i think you were really brave to keep going with him, when i see your most recent videos it shows that you can help him because his has improved so much! well done <3

  • He's so beautiful!!

  • HOOOOOOOOOOLY . The EXACT SAME THINGG is happening to mee.

  • god bless you for staying with him!! most people would give up!

  • wat was exactly the accident it did not say??

  • I'm going throught the EXACT same thing. We had the best bond and trust then one day it changed...everything did. I know how difficult it is I cry every night thinking what I should do. If you ever need to talk I'm here. Just remember defy the odds no matter what anyone says.(:

  • @horsecentral65

Thanks very much. Hope your ok :)

  • I am going through the EXACT same thing it's very hard. I cry every night thinking bout what I should do. I had a great bond and trust with him then one day he changed..everything did. I hope everything is going great with you and Lewie it's very hard and if you need someone to talk to i'm always here. I understand what it's like it's not easy and I hope you and your horse get through it just remember defy the odds no matter what anyone says.!(:

  • dont give up you can work around it keep trying get back up and ride him like you have never riden before no ones perfect

  • You two are beautiful together. To gain his respect and confidence, work with him on the ground a lot! Lunge, lunge, lunge and when he's about to drop dead from a heart attack, lunge him some more. He'll give you his all if you do.Teach him on the ground and he'll be more responsive when you ride.I woud ride my guy and he wouldn't slow down at all and just run away with me.I stopped riding and did ground work and now he's a better horse than most of the 20 year old horses there. He's 6! Just try!

  • I had a blm mustang that everyone said that stuff about. I sold her when she through me through a barb wire fince. But now I am looking for her and I have 3000 cash to buy her. I miss her and even though she was hard to handle she was a great horse that I had a strong bond with. Dont give him up like I did her. You will regret it later trust me.

  • It's hard to stand up for yourself & your horse when no one believes you can do it, but if you believe in your partnership then there is nothing in the world that could possibly stop you from reaching your dreams. Accidents happen, and sometimes they hurt & they're always scary, but the important thing is you got back up & are trying again! Give it your best, and then if, in the future, you do need to let him go, you'll both know you tried your hearts out so no regrets.

  • My heart goes out to people like you, you are so brave to keep a horse who everyone doubts. Lewi is a beautiful horse and looks like he can do no wrong. I hope you manage to calm him down and he's make a great horse for you :)

  • u did the right thing lettin the horse go, he could handle the situation himself and figure out his balance down tha cliff, than to worry about u on his back and maybe have had his head being pulled by reins, hed of thanked you for gettin off :) glad ure both ok

  • Sad accident. but if you're happy with your pony, don't let other people change your mind! I sold my Sec D Jess because he was too much for me to handle, and it was my decision. you know how you ride and how he feels to you, so stick with your guts, but be careful! and good luck!
