Wow umm these are some nice ass fuckin NCO's!!! They are good at pushing the limits physically but they are a little too fuckin diplomatic when it comes to dealing with there personnel. In the USN/USMC you have to be physically disabled and 100% out of use before they let you permanently leave. They dont give a fuck, you will wait and wait until you get better and rotate into a new division. God damn that bullshit, I have respect for there combat work ethic and physical training.

The unrealistic part of this show is that the NCO's don't hammer the guys for talking back.

And the "mouthful of rocks" is a common punishment. There have been incidents where someone being punished with the rocks, have been punched in the face, and many teeth broken.

That's life in the Legion.

@JJO117 SAS is the highest you can get. what i would do if i was you. if you are serious about it. join the armed forces for about 3 years. to adapt to life and then the Paratroopers for about 2 years and then train for a year and then try out for the S.A.S and if you like all of this join the legion

@soukupb My great uncle was in legion after 4 years in the SS ,he is not even got home , he joined the legion directly and died in 1949 in indochina .He said in his diary that 50% of the legion was old german soldiers at this moment. Some of the Luftwaffe and many SS .

He was born french with Ukrainien parents .

@negvey That reason they do this stuff is to toughen up their minds not their strength, Most of it is "team bonding exercises" but at a harsher scale cuz their "men". In the middle of a heated battlefield, a stronger soldier will not have a better chance then a mental stronger soldier. The soldier will be able to think clearer and straight away get in a smarter position whereas the stronger soldier will just keep shooting. "Once you accept your dead, you can then function as a true soldier"
