In the early episodes 1-70, Olli has fairly "normal" guy mannerisms (doesn't often walk with a wiggle, doesn't have a lisp, doesn't take on "affected" female mannerisms). Later though, he's all about "the gay". I dunno--I love gay culture (passionately), but I can't get over the exaggerated effeminate behaviour, persistent in gay culture. It's like mocking women, or mocking femininity, or self mocking. I know there's lots of talk around hetero-normative mannerisms but I just find it tiring.
