@calipo50 in some games that uses all 8 threads that i7 has it will do better than i5, but in games that uses only 4 cores i5 @ 4.3 GHz will be a little better.

@FaDx92 little higher settings than auto configure i get 60 fps but on all really max i get 30 fps but there is no difference in graphics..

@highest902 at max settings of gta 4 at 30fps do you realise any difference that when at 60 fps? Do you experience any lag?(i7 870)

@TheRES74 well this gta 4 is the ballad of gay tony so it is a little more demanding than regular gta 4 and at max settings on ballad of gay tony it can drop only at 25 fps not lower a little lag but playable, but at auto comfigure it runs at 60 fps and can drop only to 40 fps not lower so its more than playable :D

@highest902 Hmm have you tried to max the settings of gta 4 and run it with the turbo boost?

@TheRES74 turbo boost is only enabled when program is using only 2 cores, gta 4 uses all 4 cores and 8 threads i think but graphiclly on max and auto comfigure it looks same because textures are on max and all other thing, only view distence is at 30, and detail distence at 50 i think xD

@highest902 Gta4 is a crazy huge game ehh. Its much harder to run than just cause 2 and black ops right? Coz my friend has 1090t amd and he can run just cause 2 smoothly. Wow if 4cores and all threads are being used up, isn't that the time for the turbo boost to work? Do you recommend this card coz I'm buildingnmy comp on monday

@TheRES74 just cause 2 is easy for 5850 XD i run it at 55-70 fps :P i recommend you to go with 6870 because is little faster than 5850 and cheaper i think or same price and for cpu if you have money buy i7 if not than i5 or amd 1090t
