@NoSystemAccessFee If that were to happen, then saphira would die. The likliness of this happening scares me, considering brom's dragon was named saphira. Plus, eragon and murtagh are fighting just like morzan and brom. If he were to follow the EXACT story, he would in the future train yet another rider. He would be killed and the story would loop over and over again

One Good Idea that I heard from this interview is maybe expanding his current trilogy into another series is that he had to cut a short story from Brisinger and it would be nice if he would take that stories baseline and turn it into a new series about a new Rider maybe Just an idea

I have read LoTR and it was boring as shit. I love dragons and the concept that Eragon brought forth, was the very favourite concept in my head for dragons.

You should read the Belgariad series by David Eddings. That's where Christopher Poalini's biggest inspiration came from. There are dragons in thebelgariad,too, and its where Chris got his idea for the will and the word

Wow, if this is the best series you've ever read, you need to read more. LoTR, Bartimaeus Trilogy, Temeraire Series, The Dark is Rising Series, HIs Dark Materials, Abhorsen Trilogy, Jango Noman and Seeker, and the Black Tattoo, just to name a very few. Please, please, please never say its the best series every, because he had no creativity at all. If you would like me to explain further, just ask me to rant, and I will. Thank you.

Lord of the rings is still topping some charts for sales, even after 50+ years of publication...The Bartimaeus Trilogy, well...ask anybody who has ever read it, and they will agree. Yes, Jango & others are an opinion, but black tattoo is far better than Eldest and Brisingr...ask, again, anybody who has read the book.
