For some reason, this makes me think of my grandparents. Because I can't see them apart. Sure, my grandfather has his memory issues but he never ONCE forgot my grandmother's name. I just can't IMAGINE them without the the other.
@Savagekey12 My Gramma had Alzheimer's and was in a nursing home. My Grampa went every day to see her. He would feed her dinner when he was there. He would say dinner wasn't the same without her. She died, sadly, but even though she couldn't remember anyone, she would smile big whenever he walked in the room. Their love makes me believe in fairy tales.
@Savagekey12 Same here. My grandpa died a couple of years back, but before he did my grandma was really, really sick. Everyone thought she would have passed years before that - she had diabetes and had gone blind and deaf. Then my grandpa died due to an accident. No one told my grandma to protect her but a few days later she passed along too. And honestly I think that will be my parents too. They've been together since they were thirteen (they're over fifty now) and still make goo goo eyes.

Hey Kate (another Kate here! :D) I love your singing, you did an awesome job. The only reason I "disliked" the vid though was nothing to do with you. The video was awesome until random FF10-2 scenes were put in for that "lipsync" affect. It just kinda kills the mood. It would have been pretty cool to get some actual footage of YOU singing it :) Other than that, I loved it!
Actually, the Yuna scenes were used for more than just a 'Lipsync' effect.
The song talks about a 'teacher' who is dressed in black and upsets her. I needed footage of a character whom I could change into a black dress to make the song fit, otherwise Aeris would have seemed like the teacher as well! I did it with good intentions, even if it is a little odd... I'm not going to lie. XD

This is a song everyone should listen... But more specifically this version. Kate, you make this song sound so sincere, so profound, so cute. I'm usually a good writer but I haven't been able to write to her. I have no words to tell her what I feel and somehow I found a serene inspiration on your voice. I'll start writing for her right now :)

Pretty sure I've commented on this song before but I just wanted to let you know that you have made me love this song. I want to sing it myself - I want to vid it. I just love this song to pieces (for some reason I had never heard it before listening to it on your channel a couple years ago. So thank you so much for introducing it to me. I JUST SPENT FORTY-FIVE MINUTES FIGURING OUT HOW TO GET THIS ONTO MY SANSA CLIP. *punches air* IT'S WORTH IT! Your voice is so beautiful, this song makes me want to cry every time I listen to it. I tried looking up the original, but after your cover it sounded harsh and brash and he paused in all the wrong places. But I FINALLY managed to get yours! And... y'know, TheirEyesWatchGod has the right idea. This would be a beautiful song to walk down the aisle to. *makes note*

This is one of the videos I watch almost everyday (at least once a day). The AMV is just brilliant and fits very well to the song...and your singing...it's just so touching. I never listened to the original and I never will because that would ruin the whole thing for me. It's your version and no other! And you'd better know - I would follow you into the darkest dark just because of that single song. :)

Hey Kate (another Kate here! :D) I love your singing, you did an awesome job. The only reason I "disliked" the vid though was nothing to do with you. The video was awesome until random FF10-2 scenes were put in for that "lipsync" affect. It just kinda kills the mood. It would have been pretty cool to get some actual footage of YOU singing it :) Other than that, I loved it!

Actually, the Yuna scenes were used for more than just a 'Lipsync' effect.
The song talks about a 'teacher' who is dressed in black and upsets her. I needed footage of a character whom I could change into a black dress to make the song fit, otherwise Aeris would have seemed like the teacher as well! I did it with good intentions, even if it is a little odd... I'm not going to lie. XD
