This film is splendid, swashbuckling magic...as good as 'Raiders' and 'Crusade' and much more in keeping with the series than Temple of Doom. It's great seeing Indy explore the 50s with its pre-occupation with aliens and the Soviets make perfect Nazis if you get my meaning. Great stuff!!!

The only problem I had with it, yet was trivial enough for me to deal with, was the atomic bomb scene. I mean, you can't stand so close to that explosion and not definitely get radiation poisoning. Can you?

Also, sure the ending was weird, but so is Nazis getting smitten by the power of God. They just chose to do something weird and made it happen to Soviets, is all.

well im pretty sure a large amount of people had large expectations because a lot of them waited 17 years to see it and excpected a good indiana jones movie... indiana jones 4 was almost like a sci fi movie and i would not be surprised if it was on the sci fi channel. george lucas has lost it.. steven speilberg is still making great movies it was not his fault it was a horrible movie not even he could make it good by directing it. george lucas is making shitty movies like cartoon starwars....

I enjoyed this movie, I've seen it 4 times and see something different each time. Harrison is in great shape, I like to see an older actor play a role that made him famous. I like Shia too, if he's to be Indy's replacement I think he'll do well. I like the falls, the primates, the prairie dogs and the humor in this is great. Love the updated score, Spielberg and Lucas are genius'.

I loved the all 3 movies before Indy4, although I didnt like very much temple of doom,  but this movie is really bad.. script, special effects and characters are ...just so simple. It's not about memory, Last Crusade has one of the best scripts I've ever seen

Indiana Jones is BACK! All those other action/adventure films wouldn't even exist in their current format if it wasn't for "Raiders of the Lost Ark" and the other Indy adventures. The non-stop action, the editing, the sense of wonder and excitement... it's good that these guys (Lucas, Spielberg, Ford) haven't turned Inidana into what Bond has become: a by-the-numbers, we've-seen-it-all-before filmed deal. Itf they have to take almost 20 years, it's worth it!

I don't know man, I'm pretty sure The Dark Knight is still going to take the cake for the best film this summer. Don't get me wrong this looks awesome and I'm really excited for it, but Batman? Heath Ledger's last role as an amazing joker? It'll be tight. And personally I don't find Shia to be that good an actor.

Shia was alright in Transformers and Disturbia(great film). It will be close between the 2 we have had Batman recently and have not had Indiana Jones for 19 years. I like Nicholson as the Joker but we will see. Heath as the Joker I am anxious about and the movie should be dedicated to him. Watch his last movie be the best!

Never looked at her before but now I cannot get over the sight of Cate Blanchett in uniform, HOT DAMN!!! She looks like Ilsa, she-wolf of the SS in those hot pants. I would love to rip those pants off and eat out that sweet, wet Soviet cootch till it sprays all over. Hope there is a love scene in the movie where she does it with Indy. About time they released a trailer for this, Spielberg said there was gonna be a teaser released during Thanksgiving weekend and Christmas, never happend, anyway, finally, I see it was worth the wait. Why the heck are they using so much digital effects. Seeing almost 70years old Harrison (still looking awesome though) jumping into nazi´s car looks ridiculous. The scene with the car chase in the canyon looks shitty. Cate is great and looking forward to see John Hurt. Less digital stuff is better. Digital camera sucks!! I want the old Panavision!!!
