giberish9 is right, EMI or (RFI Radio Frequency Interference) can cause false signals to control modules (any),easiest way to tell is if you hear a whinny noise through your speakers and gets louder as you accelerate, "spiral wound" wires will get you as much spark as possible without or hardly any interferance,,,very nice omni though I miss my 86' , it left many "tuner" guys in the dust and handled like a go kart.

I think solid core plug wires cause some kind of problem with the PCM.

turbo cars love E85 mostly for the cooler intake charge but the 105 octane aint bad either
