@sMcstan That's actually wrong. I'm sure you've seen 1080i and 1080p. well the "i" means interlaced, and the "p" means progressive. And it is to state picture quality, but on youtube it does increase the sound quality a lot just from 240 to 480. I'm not sure on all the details but its telling you the number of (vertical?) lines of pixels, not the individual number of pixels. Meaning in 240p, there are two-hundred and forty vertical lines of pixels from side to side.
