I"m an old fella now but lived in Notting Hill ,London in the 1940s and we used to get more snow than that then. There were very few cars back then, and if the bus couldn"t run in the snow then we just walked everywhere ! I think that people were a lot fitter back then .... I still love the snow..more the merrier ..
