I said I don't agree with all of them. Most are great. I hope the federal reserve is audited, and abolished. The idea of capitalism and a global free market being a workable, prosperous system is what I disagree with.
You dont agree with them becuase you dont know what could happen if he follows through with the, he wants toautid the Federal reserve, and we all know that they are crooked control freaks who inslave the american people. Why dont you agree with them?

I long for the day when Americans re-gain Confidence in Liberty and self Reliance.
Why do we demand laws and regulations put on us by a Government that has been proven corrupt time and time again?
"The two enemies of the people are criminals and government, so let us tie the second down with the chains of the constitution so the second will not become the legalized version of the first."
MY goodness, I love this man Ron Paul. You don't have to be an economist or a fundamentalist of some sort to understand what he says. Crap, surrounding another country, blockading it is in fact an act of war, and that action may cause the threatened country to attack. The stupid US government does not realize this flaw. The other question is if the US gov is actually purposely threatening Iran to cause a war, to force the conflict so they can mask their mistake of going to the Middle East.
I'm disappointed that he didn't know of Schumpeter's theory of Creative Destruction. I just hope it's that he didn't hear the guy say "creative destruction" and just thought he said destruction. Creative destruction is absolutely a part of capitalism, that's why people lose their jobs overseas, but they have to realize those jobs are replaced with higher paying jobs that are more rewarding--as long as they get the proper education to take advantage of those jobs.
First he is critizised and ridicouled by the corrupt media, then they invited him back to gain some credability....and people fall for the oldest trick in the book, manipulation.

It's not your "In-glish" that concerns me, it's your thought process. Ron Paul is a kook with a high IQ, but a KOOK, none-the-less. Imagine Paul occupying the most powerful position on the planet? It would be the world's worst, most horrific nightmare. Sure, Paul is smart but so are alot of college professors. Hardly a singlular qualification for the Presidency. Plese Ron, stay in Congress, stay in Texas, and leave 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. to those truly qualified.
Truly qualified? Like Obama & McCain? Hahahah! What qualifications do they have? Paul's been in Congress 14 years, worked w/ Reagan, received dozens of awards 4 being an advocate 4 liberty & the people. He's a genius when it comes 2 economics & middle east politics. McCain admitted he knew very little a/b the economy, & seemingly less a/b the Mid East. He thought Iran was training Al Qaeda. Obama's smart but has no experience & everything good a/b him has prob. been a position of RP 4 decades.
Who's your idea of "truly qualified"? Let me guess, you're an Obama supporter, right? Only an Obamoron would say something that damn stupid.
You got it right, phrek, ever since Paul suspended his campaign he's been given a lot more "face time" on TV. The corporate media knows that he's good for ratings.
WE NEED A KOOK (in your words, not mine). The reason our country is so fucked up is that we have business interests running things for their benefit and the collapse of the rest. There's a reason why the stock market drops while oil companies are posting record highs. We let lobbyists run the country.
Lol! This country is a fucking joke. You have a man like this with more knowledge then either of those 2 twits and people are to fucking ignorant to see it.
The reason for them to ask Ron Paul this is due to his success in being correct on these issues.. Same thing with Peter Schiff, they criticize them for having views that differ from others.. Turns out they were right the first fucking time so they invite them back and criticize them somemore!!
"Radical views, cult following"? Wtf is wrong with these people? If you support being truly free then your a fucking cult member? Die slowly apathetic douchebags.
No its just no one has any answers. Its the same old bullshit inwhich no one who claims to know about these issues know absoutly nothing. Ron Paul is an established governmental figure and knows as much about foreign policy and free market economics as anyone. He has studied it all his life.

It's not a matter of "getting a conscience"...my little Ron lover...they are fair and balanced. And with that, they allow all sides - sides deserving and capable of articulating a viewpoint - the forum they deserve. Ron Paul, as he proved in his run for the white house, is "out there" and clearly not suited for that position. Better he stays in Texas, contributes his "insights" where appropriate and adds, in a measured way, to the American political landscape. Imagine him the Prez....good grief.
Man, whats the point of even arguing with each other? Neither one is ever gonna convince the other, its just the extreme right vs. the extreme left. I got news for you, you're both wrong! There are flaws, as well as benefits, of both sides. Too bad there's no one who is right in the middle and is capable of pleasing everyone in the country. All I know is I love the USA, and hope we can survive this political civil war that seems to be getting worse and worse.
You make no effort at all to cover your stupidity.
I have explained with an example a segment of the market where the free market would not lead to a competetive market and WOULD lead to high profit margins. All you idiots have done is ad hominem attacks to counter it.
so your going to kill me if i disagree? If not then you in fact agree with libertarianism or the idea coercion and violence are ammoral and that force cannot be legitimized in any regard against others.
If you support the rule of law than neither do you. There's always coercion. And there are always taxes. If not then you are talking about hardcore anarchism. We just disagree about the level of coercion and taxes. But hey if you disagree then you can either vote or get out you do have a free choice.
well don't pretend that i have any real choice then, as if i try to voluntarily interact with anyone i will be shot or forcibly removed by the state. i don't want to leave and i'm not hurting anyone. i'm not imposing myself on anyone or theatening anyone, i want to peacefully exist, but i am only given the option of being shot for not wanting to force anyone to do anything. So please don't pretend you are at all debating with me instead you are threatening me for the crime of mere disagreement
No you won't get shot. You'll only get shot if you endanger the civil servants who are coercing you, like any other criminal. I know I'd have a hell of a hard time trying to get myself killed by police over here at least but that's slightly different in the USA. And yeah you do have a choice you have to chip in and abide by the rules or leave the club or you can vote for a different leader.
if you ignore a parking violation, then the state has the right and moral obligation to punish you. if you resist them abducting you or taking your stuff like you would in any other occassion you get shot or are cofined and get to rot for a long time, regardless how arbitrary and unreasonable the law may be. but you never answered my query wether or not you are going to kill people for merely disagreeing with you.
No of course I'm not going to kill people for disagreeing with me.
But I'm not sure if I understand what you are saying. Would YOUR government coerce me off your property? If so that is coercive and your whole "woe is me" argument falls to shambles. Face it you are not the ideological victim you'd like to be.
but im not going to kill anyone or force anyone to do anything, i think its ethically wrong that people do that but if your not going to advocate my death i have no moral quandary with you. Disputes can be settled peacefully if someone does initiate violence then i would not care to ever be around them..
in my experience people seem to prefer solutions that involve violence directed towards dissent. our opinons may differ but if we agree on the immorality of violence, then i don't see any significant divide in ideology
Well I do support the rule of law. I thought that was what you meant by violence. Because the rule of law implies it is being enforced which implies government/central coercion. But I oppose capital punishment in case you were wondering.
Say you support property laws. Say I didn't. Say I strolled on your property ignoring those property laws. If the state then intervened on your behalf would that make you a coercive tyrant punishing me by the barrel of a gun for mere disagreement? And we obviously have to pay a slight bit of taxes/tarrifs for the government we do have in your libertopia so why should I fund your tyrant laws?
Stop drinking flouride, Chlorine, arsenics Nitrates, and Pharmacueticals NOW! Go to MahaffeyITI . com they offer Berkey Water Filters, Whole home water filters, Natural remedies, Solar, and more all at MahaffeyITI . com
This whole Iran thing is because they want to sell their oil in another currency aside of the dollar. There is nothing to do with nuclear capacity at all.
Ron Paul is the man! He just makes sense, he understands the problem and we're stuck voting for two ignorant fools in 2008. Thanks alot uneducated, media manipulated zombies. You will be learning the hard way!
*jinjin16 -You've asked the question of all questions. How can you truly be free if you are in debt? And truth be told by all examples history has taught us. You can never be free while in debt. You end up turning a nation into an receivership based economy. One obvious example, Communism. As for US, we have accumulated 50 trillion in entitlements on the books already. And the main stream solution to these problems is print more money? increase Gov. spending? increase the global tax? WTF?
dont get it. how can americans talk about freedom when they are neck deep in debt. how can one be free when your in debt? dont they get that mail or phonecall or that knock on the door reminding them how much freedom they dont have? people are stupid.
Spend some time reading Austrian Economics if you want to really understand where Ron Paul is coming from. He is not crazy one bit he is trying to protect the american people from the hidden tax called inflation that the government uses to get your money without directly taxing you for it.
I think there exists a good chance the globalists will arm Iran with a Nuke through the Russians or Chinese or similar and then allow Iran to nuke some American interests around the world maybe even the homeland and justify expansion of tyranny and global state.
"How would abolishing the income tax help the economy?" This guy is an idiot. Now he's reporting on Fox News. I knew he was on their neocon payroll when he talked about business. Lower taxes helps the economy to grow. No income tax would go far....but now it's too late because the Fed has used up all their ammo. Too bad they didn't listen to Ron Paul.
We need to support any and all candidates like him, regardless of party, until we get our country back. We've spent too much time watching t.v. and not enough time minding the store.
We will wish we had Dr. Paul soon as socialist finish taking over, and turn us into a 3rd world country..How long before people wise up and figure out the scam.
Free Market Capitalism is what we have now and the reason we have our issues. The Free Market and no regulation allowed bankers to basically use steroids to make obscene amounts of money with no regard for the future (read regulation) so here we are with the banking elite making millions and the homeowners left with debt higher than their assets. Free Market without regulation results in poorer individuals and rich corporate leaders like Mexico which is where the USA is heading.Bye Middle Class!
What country are you talking about? The United States hasn't been a free market for 100 years. The reason why the elite banks and oil companies are making gobs of money right now is because of excessive regulations and the control that the Federal Reserve has over Americas money supply. Do you even wonder why as the government gets bigger and allowed to have more control and regulation over business the spread between rich and poor gets wider? No you just say we need more regulation. How stupid.
Obviuosly we need some regulation. But we also need free markets. The problem with our current system is a lack of regulation in certain aspects of banking such as off balance sheet, offshore financial centres, lack of transparency in central banking too, manipulated data etc.
The reason why this is not addresed is because all the vital aspects of our economic system is controlled by a small elite. For example all the investment banks are controlled anounimously through a series of trusts.
correct boredjoewo. Japan had the highest corporate tax rate last time I looked and they do quite well. They are building vertical cities while our infrastructure falls apart.
So don't fall for that trickle down BS as that simply another way to say steal from the poor to give to the rich.
I'd recommend Bad Samaritans : The Myth of Free Trade and the Secret History of Capitalism.
i was not arguing biology. I was arguing against the legitimacy for individuals to use the threat of coercion against others. That is the illegitimacy of the government and all other forms of hierarchy and power. Can it be within the realm of possibility that i disagree with your conclusions? Or do you support putting a gun to my head to stop me from making a voluntary exchange of goods or services that i or any other individual find reasonable?
Companies like the crybaby Ford Motor Company wah!wah!wah! "the Japanese are hording 'their' hybrid techs" are you talking about those "Lazy" companies . The ones ran by billionair CEO's that haven't had a new idea in thirty years .
Ron Paul is just too much a free speaker to be a republican . I wish he & Hillary would both break ranks & run as indies . I say that though Hill scares the b-jeebers out of me. Come on please blow this B.S. election wide open for the sake of the PEOPLE.
Is it possible to gather Ron paul supporters and seperate from the rest of the country? I don't want the rabble (democrats) and slaves (republicans) to drag me down with them in their pro war empire.
"What is Vice President Dick Cheney trying to hide? In the spring, when Cheney convened his energy task force, he sat down with executives from the oil, electricity and nuclear power industries and kept it all secret. He issued his report in May, but his fetish for secrecy about its origins continues.
Whenever government officials try to work in secret, they inevitably end up drawing attention to what they're trying to conceal."
Just think, he sat with oil electric and nuclear execs for an energy conference and now we just happen to be in a situation where the people are convinced we need more oil drilling, more coal mining and more nuclear plants. What a coincidence. How is it that most of the american people do exactly what they want us to do?
What amaze me is that Fox News Channel had a great time putting down Ron Paul during the South Carolina Primary, and yet Fox Business News Channel can not get a enough of him. Out of all the former candidate he is the one that they like to talk to the most. Make you wonder.
Ron Paul is in the wrong party. The GOP has little interest in defending the constitution, rebuilding the economy, and restoring the USA to its former glory as defined by the Founding Fathers.
The GOP is run by neocons, who want to destroy this country, eliminate the constitution, and implement a communist regime based on the teachings of Karl Marx and Leon Trotsky. The origin of the neocons is from Russia. They were expatriates who fled the czarist regime and were communist intellectuals.
Paul cares more about his party than his country, I think that's quite clear at this point. We saw that in his refusal to support the impeachment articles against Cheney, yet he was in the forefront against Clinton...that's partisanship in it's highest form.
Traditionally Ron Paul is right on the mark of what the GOP is all about. Unfortunately the latest members have changed the party policies and left the parties former values....Just look at past GOP leaders...
Government can cause more problems than its worth, with bigger government causing bigger problems. I believe we should tithe to the government and then let them do what they do on that. Trillions unaccounted for and nukes being flown overhead, we should deal with our own problems first.
how long has it been since ron paul's had dark hair? fox continues to play with pictures... they couldn't find a recent picture of paul? jesus... this channel is a joke...
the amazing thing about the Ron Paul Revolution, is his supporters are as inspirational as he is because he's delivered to them the facts and connected them to the truth. I still get chills every time I see a Ron Paul sign, or a Ron Paul T-shirt. Let's keep it going forever, and they can never stop the facts.
t4 your right thank God for Ron Paul....we have to keep the Ron Paul discussions going all the time. Everyone wants to hear him speak because of the knowledge they get. This can still be the most fascinating election of all time with the two fake candidates running....we'll still be out there with our Ron Paul Revolution signs. They can't stop the march of freedom and truth.
I believe this big black guy was one of the neo-cons who was said on FAUX that if the Democrats would only allow the billionaires to get massive tax cuts THE ST0CK MARKET WOULD SOAR -- I THINK THEY WERE TALKING OF A DOW AROUND 20,000.
CAN WE SOMEHOW PULL UP THAT CRAP THAT WAS SPEWED OUT BY FAUX AND GOT US IN SO MUCH TROUBLE.
Interesting how with each comment you have made you've mentioned the man's race, as if it's relevant--which it is not. Just shows what a racist prick you are.
the problem is the fox news brand is so tainted by propaganda that no one really gives ANY segment a second thought. haha, fox news, terrorist fist bump
The problem is, these corporations seem to only put enough carcinogens into products so that people live for 30-40 years (whilst they are productive) & then die around about the time they are thinking of retiring & becoming a strain on & less useful to the state.
You make an announcement in which you have concern for the safety of others and than spell it out. Than you say this to those people: "You americans are the dumbest people on the planet. Keep watching fox you losers." ???
You think you're going to get people to open their minds by attacking them? <--That's dumb.
Really? Then why is Bayer still here after knowingly putting hiv infected medicine on the market?
And maybe you haven't heard about what happened with the asbestos after 9/11? Isn't that big enough an atrocity to proof that nobody gives a shit about your health, just profit?
There's example after example of big corporations who get sued, pay their fine, and go on with their business.
i wouldn't expect anyone to give a shit about me or my health aside from myself, but would not expect that anyone apart from suicidal people would purchase goods from a company that put carcinogens in there food or live in a building lined with potentially hazardous material.
There are carcinogens in almost all foods. People buy it because they think it's safe, it's out of ignorance and apathy, not because they are suicidal.
while technically many things in nature contain carcinogenic material i refer to things that have measureable negative effects on people. if someone is apathetic to their own physical well being and purposefully ingests questionable material, i would find it difficult to characterize them as anything but suicidal. If one assumes something without proof then discerning any truth would be impossible. for example i would never belive that coke would enable me to fly as that counters all evidence
Do you have any idea how many products there are with aspartame? How many have you eaten today? How many with those 'E' numbers on the back? Was it because you were suicidal, or because you just didn't know they were harmful?
whats your proof for aspartame being toxic? Even if it wasn't currently contreversial, there have been many other artificial sweeteners that have replaced it, which would support the assertion that people won't buy products that might be bad for them. Even so, apartame was approved by the FDA, so the arguement that i have to surrender the products of my labor to arbitrary authority because some people might not want to eat healthy doesn't affect my opinion drastically.
methanol - a volatile, colourless, flammable, poisonous liquid used in antifreeze. It's a CNS depressant and toxic because it is metabolized into...> formaldehyde - a biocide banned in the EU for even Embalming dead bodies because it's so toxic and carcinogenic.
Also formic acid - breaks down organic tissue and is also a mutagen.
Medical research. The fact that it has been banned in many countries.
And if you realize what it brakes down to and with it actually is (a toxin), it's not very hard to draw the conclusions for your self. But if you're still not convinced, you might want to look at the possible health risks that accompany it.
Modern "conservatism" is a joke. All the Reagan is God blah blah - Sure, he was good on taxes (at the time), but a DISASTER on spending! My God, even the "liberal" congress spent less $ than Reagan wanted. How can a movement that has anything to do with "limited spending" have ANYTHING to do with Reagan? START OVER with Ron Paul libertarianism! Thinking "Reagan" is setting the bar WAYYYYYY too low. We don't need more "TALK".
That said, these days a LOT of the handouts or "welfare" goes to the very well-to-do. Anybody who thinks otherwise has been asleep for the last 30 years more or less. Getting rid of the tax code eliminates SO much of this nonsense.
YUP that sounds like Ron Paul all Right. What bothers me most about this asshole is he knows Mccain is DANGEROUS for America but he doesn't support impeachment of Bush/Cheney and he never speaks out to his cult members about the danger of Republicans continuing to run America down.
never said that they did, merely that Paul didn't understand the concept that was being referenced (and it's conceptual significance), and that therefore his answers were somewhat off-track
Welcome to the reality of our bogas electoral. Pretty depressing when you learn that it's all a entertainment put on by the media for the masses. It appears that even on the Senate and Representative level it's been manipulated for years.
There has been a member here on youtube (member opchidexio) that has made it his life to trash Ron Paul Supporters. He's trashed member Billy Bob and he's lied about me and others. I never understood why until today (July 4th, 08).
Please see my personal page and then watch this video...it's urgent:
mattgeb84,As a bigtime Ron Paul fan, I would urge you to reconsider writing Paul in. Why? Because, as Ron Paul himself says, the vote literally won't be counted. It will not show on non any radar anywhere. Please research this for yourself to verify. When McCain loses to Obama by 9%,I want the results to show Barr getting 9%.That will send a message that the GOP will NOT win again until they revamp their party which in theory is the far better party if only their were actual conservatives in it.
its funny how ron pauls rivals said that paul needed to get off the economy and talk about something else a few months ago,, and now the economy is news one,,,
It's really nice to notice a general change in attitude from how media treated him in earlier interviews and then now (although financial media generally always treated him better).
It seems like he's being taken far more serious and treated far more respectfully.
Fox is such garbage. They practically blackballed this statesman so he got very little news time unless it was for something quirky. We had the chance to fix many of the wrongs of this country and give our children and grandchildren a prosperous country that takes care of its own first...and we blew it. Obama or McCain- does it matter? Which one of them even talks about monetary policy?
Which one of them talks about restoring the Constitution? Which one of them talks about real tax reform?
Dude, Ron Paul is so correct about Iran's non-intensions. It is war propaganda and everyone in the US is buying it and going bankrupt because of it. I've never been in politics until I ran into this man. We must restore the Constitution to drive back this country to it's original intent...
Personally I don't give a rats ass if Iran has nuclear weapons. How about this, America, Russia, China, France, England, and all the other nuclear hoarding countries should lead by example and destroy all but 10 nuclear weapons a piece. Maybe Iran and all these third world countries wouldn't be in such a hurry to buy weapons and build massive bombs. Do we need 1000's of nuclear weapons any more? Have we not grown up one bit since 1945?
Or give 10 nuclear weapons to other countries, including dictatorships... aside from like... poor countries like somalia that couldnt afford the gas to launch it. its like guns, no one has them, or everyone has them, its the only way its even.
don't forget Israel's nuclear hypocrisy and chemical and biological weapons capability. Israel refuses inspectors and wants strategic nuclear dominance in the Mid East, they want nuclear weapons and no one else
so true,, just a few weeks ago i heard an argument in the news about israel having or not having nukes,,,, dont we know for sure if they do??? thats insane,,, they are our allies,,, shouldn't we know that???
American voters were asleep at the switch. I wonder why Fox even asked him for this interview after blacking him out during his campaign. Maybe he was the only one that had a clue.
Many of you are aware that Ron Paul officially suspended his campaign a couple of weeks ago. What many are not aware of, however, is that this campaign suspension was merely a legal formality, governing the use of Ron Paul's campaign donations.
RON PAUL IS STILL ELIGIBLE FOR THE GOP NOMINATION. Similar to Mitt Romney, Dr. Paul is no longer actively campaigning, but *IS* still eligible to win the GOP nomination, and WILL still have bound delegates present at the Republican National Convention in September.
The phenomenal success of Ron Paul's delegates at this past weekend's Nevada Republican state convention attest to how active and excited the Ron Paul movement is to elect him the GOP nominee. Get moving AGAIN!
There he goes just making to much damn sense for the poorly educated stupid americans to grasp. Now you tell me that federal over sight of education has been a good thing. Unbelivable how stupid americans are now. And there is no better way to gage that than to look at the two yay hoos we have to choose from. I would gas half this population myself Im so sick of of stupid dumb fat and ignorant americans.
Just imagine: Troops home; Gov. spending cut back to year 2000 levels; Income Tax abolished; Everyone's income increases overnight by 40%; Inflation stops; Gas prices plummet; Housing prices start increasing again; A national Depression is avoided!
OR
Keep doing what we're doing, and creating hatred for American's worldwide while we enter the biggest depression of the history of America as companies fail, the dollar plummets, housing prices plummet, etc.

WE NEED A KOOK (in your words, not mine). The reason our country is so fucked up is that we have business interests running things for their benefit and the collapse of the rest. There's a reason why the stock market drops while oil companies are posting record highs. We let lobbyists run the country.

There are flaws, as well as benefits, of both sides. Too bad there's no one who is right in the middle and is capable of pleasing everyone in the country. You make no effort at all to cover your stupidity.
I have explained with an example a segment of the market where the free market would not lead to a competetive market and WOULD lead to high profit margins. All you idiots have done is ad hominem attacks to counter it.
jpbalkenende 3 years ago
so your going to kill me if i disagree? If not then you in fact agree with libertarianism or the idea coercion and violence are ammoral and that force cannot be legitimized in any regard against others.
McDicker96 3 years ago
If you support the rule of law than neither do you. There's always coercion. And there are always taxes. If not then you are talking about hardcore anarchism. We just disagree about the level of coercion and taxes. But hey if you disagree then you can either vote or get out you do have a free choice.
jpbalkenende 3 years ago
well don't pretend that i have any real choice then, as if i try to voluntarily interact with anyone i will be shot or forcibly removed by the state. i don't want to leave and i'm not hurting anyone. i'm not imposing myself on anyone or theatening anyone, i want to peacefully exist, but i am only given the option of being shot for not wanting to force anyone to do anything. So please don't pretend you are at all debating with me instead you are threatening me for the crime of mere disagreement
McDicker96 3 years ago
No you won't get shot. You'll only get shot if you endanger the civil servants who are coercing you, like any other criminal. I know I'd have a hell of a hard time trying to get myself killed by police over here at least but that's slightly different in the USA. And yeah you do have a choice you have to chip in and abide by the rules or leave the club or you can vote for a different leader.
jpbalkenende 3 years ago
if you ignore a parking violation, then the state has the right and moral obligation to punish you. if you resist them abducting you or taking your stuff like you would in any other occassion you get shot or are cofined and get to rot for a long time, regardless how arbitrary and unreasonable the law may be. but you never answered my query wether or not you are going to kill people for merely disagreeing with you.
McDicker96 3 years ago
No of course I'm not going to kill people for disagreeing with me.
But I'm not sure if I understand what you are saying. Would YOUR government coerce me off your property? If so that is coercive and your whole "woe is me" argument falls to shambles. Face it you are not the ideological victim you'd like to be.
jpbalkenende 3 years ago
but im not going to kill anyone or force anyone to do anything, i think its ethically wrong that people do that but if your not going to advocate my death i have no moral quandary with you. Disputes can be settled peacefully if someone does initiate violence then i would not care to ever be around them..
McDicker96 3 years ago
Where did you get the idea that I was advocating your death anyway?
jpbalkenende 3 years ago
in my experience people seem to prefer solutions that involve violence directed towards dissent. our opinons may differ but if we agree on the immorality of violence, then i don't see any significant divide in ideology
McDicker96 3 years ago 2
Well I do support the rule of law. I thought that was what you meant by violence. Because the rule of law implies it is being enforced which implies government/central coercion. But I oppose capital punishment in case you were wondering.
jpbalkenende 3 years ago
Say you support property laws. Say I didn't. Say I strolled on your property ignoring those property laws. If the state then intervened on your behalf would that make you a coercive tyrant punishing me by the barrel of a gun for mere disagreement? And we obviously have to pay a slight bit of taxes/tarrifs for the government we do have in your libertopia so why should I fund your tyrant laws?

You end up turning a nation into an receivership based economy. One obvious example, Communism. As for US, we have accumulated 50 trillion in entitlements on the books already. And the main stream solution to these problems is print more money? increase Gov. spending? increase the global tax? WTF?

Free Market Capitalism is what we have now and the reason we have our issues. The Free Market and no regulation allowed bankers to basically use steroids to make obscene amounts of money with no regard for the future (read regulation) so here we are with the banking elite making millions and the homeowners left with debt higher than their assets. Free Market without regulation results in poorer individuals and rich corporate leaders like Mexico which is where the USA is heading.Bye Middle Class!
boredjoewo 3 years ago
LOL AMERICA HAS A FREE MARKET..... UM KAY SURE /drool
x3onr3g1z 3 years ago
What country are you talking about? The United States hasn't been a free market for 100 years. The reason why the elite banks and oil companies are making gobs of money right now is because of excessive regulations and the control that the Federal Reserve has over Americas money supply. Do you even wonder why as the government gets bigger and allowed to have more control and regulation over business the spread between rich and poor gets wider? No you just say we need more regulation. How stupid.
mickeysears 3 years ago
Obviuosly we need some regulation. But we also need free markets. The problem with our current system is a lack of regulation in certain aspects of banking such as off balance sheet, offshore financial centres, lack of transparency in central banking too, manipulated data etc.
The reason why this is not addresed is because all the vital aspects of our economic system is controlled by a small elite. For example all the investment banks are controlled anounimously through a series of trusts.
daniel987878 3 years ago
The cartels (credit rating agencies, Investment banks, FRB, commercial banks, regulators, data reporting, etc)need to be broken up.

correct boredjoewo. Japan had the highest corporate tax rate last time I looked and they do quite well. They are building vertical cities while our infrastructure falls apart.

D. Cheney, Man of Mystery

They were expatriates who fled the czarist regime and were communist intellectuals.
monkeyman1140 3 years ago
Paul cares more about his party than his country, I think that's quite clear at this point. We saw that in his refusal to support the impeachment articles against Cheney, yet he was in the forefront against Clinton...that's partisanship in it's highest form.

And maybe you haven't heard about what happened with the asbestos after 9/11? Isn't that big enough an atrocity to proof that nobody gives a shit about your health, just profit?
There's example after example of big corporations who get sued, pay their fine, and go on with their business.
Ab4kus 3 years ago
i wouldn't expect anyone to give a shit about me or my health aside from myself, but would not expect that anyone apart from suicidal people would purchase goods from a company that put carcinogens in there food or live in a building lined with potentially hazardous material.
McDicker96 3 years ago
There are carcinogens in almost all foods. People buy it because they think it's safe, it's out of ignorance and apathy, not because they are suicidal.
Ab4kus 3 years ago
while technically many things in nature contain carcinogenic material i refer to things that have measureable negative effects on people. if someone is apathetic to their own physical well being and purposefully ingests questionable material, i would find it difficult to characterize them as anything but suicidal. If one assumes something without proof then discerning any truth would be impossible. for example i would never belive that coke would enable me to fly as that counters all evidence
McDicker96 3 years ago
Do you have any idea how many products there are with aspartame? How many have you eaten today? How many with those 'E' numbers on the back? Was it because you were suicidal, or because you just didn't know they were harmful?
Ab4kus 3 years ago
whats your proof for aspartame being toxic? Even if it wasn't currently contreversial, there have been many other artificial sweeteners that have replaced it, which would support the assertion that people won't buy products that might be bad for them. Even so, apartame was approved by the FDA, so the arguement that i have to surrender the products of my labor to arbitrary authority because some people might not want to eat healthy doesn't affect my opinion drastically.
McDicker96 3 years ago
I'll point to chemistry McDicker96.
Aspartame breaks down into
methanol - a volatile, colourless, flammable, poisonous liquid used in antifreeze. It's a CNS depressant and toxic because it is metabolized into...> formaldehyde - a biocide banned in the EU for even Embalming dead bodies because it's so toxic and carcinogenic.
Also formic acid - breaks down organic tissue and is also a mutagen.
abram730 3 years ago
Medical research. The fact that it has been banned in many countries.
And if you realize what it brakes down to and with it actually is (a toxin), it's not very hard to draw the conclusions for your self. But if you're still not convinced, you might want to look at the possible health risks that accompany it.

American voters were asleep at the switch. I wonder why Fox even asked him for this interview after blacking him out during his campaign. Maybe he was the only one that had a clue.

As things worsen, there will be more and more interest in RP's economic policy.
It's pretty damn obvious that the neocons or dems have any answere.
Where are all those economic "experts" McCain brags about having on his team?
They're as clueless as he is.
We can still win this thing, people!

A guy walks into a pub and asks: "Does anyone here own a Doberman?
I feel really bad about this, but my Chihuahua just killed it." A man leaps to his feet and replies, "Yes, I do, but how can that
be? I raised that dog from a pup to be a vicious killer." "Yes, well, that's all well and good," replied the first, "but my
dog's stuck in its throat."

Hmmm.... let me think.
