  • Jason got this fight because he got tired of waiting around for Steven Seagal. Look it up!

  • 1:46 - Go for his balls dude! ;-) (before anyone gets unneccesarily annoyed, I know that's illegal)

  • @AidanownzThey were fighting with bare gloves in the back of a gym. Why do you assume anything is illegal?

    It wouldn't have worked, anyway.

  • @ThePinkMan True, but I assume they had rules of conduct of some sort, eg. no biting, no ball shots, no gouging. Maybe I'm wrong though.

Why wouldn't it have worked? I know these guys are hard, but their balls aren't made of steel you know.

  • @Aidanownz Because Royce has more skill than DeLucia and is equally capable of biting and grabbing balls. Gerard Gordeau bit Royce's ear in the UFC 1 finals and all it did was piss Royce off and make him hold onto a choke longer just to teach him a lesson.

The balls and eyes aren't magic buttons. If you're fighting someone much more athletic or skilled than you, odds are you aren't going to turn the tide by going for his nuts. You might even give him ideas of what to do to you.

  • @ThePinkMan Have you ever been kicked in the balls? Even a reasonably low-powered kick can put you on the floor for a couple of minutes. These guys are stronger than your average blokes, so if he'd hit the other in the balls hard then it would have incapacitated him, most definetely. I agree that if Royce had done that too then he would probably have won, but at that moment if DeLucia had decided to go for a ball-shot then he would have won.

  • @Aidanownz Dude, I'm a lifelong owner and operator of a ballsack. I know it hurts. I've also been in enough fights to know that nut shots are not the be-all-end-all in hand-to-hand combat. Low blows can both be shook off and defended against.

Former UFC champ Guy Mezger recently got in a fight defending a woman from some random nutcase. The assailant tried to bite Guy and grab his balls. Guy ended up having to knock him out three times.

  • @ThePinkMan I know that, but all I'm saying is that from the position he was in, a strong shot, or even two, to the balls would have got him free, if not giving him the advantage.

Yeah, but that guy was a nutcase, and he was fighting an ex-UFC Champion. If it had been a well trained assailant then it would have been a more effective strategy.

  • @Aidanownz I've seen people try to nut punch from that position before. Getting a strong shot in is not easy. Besides, with the adrenaline of the fight, Royce would've been able to shake it off and beat him just as quickly as he had done.

By the way, he wasn't a UFC champion at this point. And DeLucia isn't a nutcase. He went on to be a successful fighter himself. He actually fought Royce again in the UFC back when groin attacks were legal. He still lost.

  • @ThePinkMan No, I meant that DeLucia ISN'T a nutcase. But yeah, cristianpino seems to basically be saying what I think. I've also done Krav Maga, and about half of it is groin attacks, and it is widely regarded as one of the best martial arts for real-life situations. They really can completely destroy someone if you get them right.

  • @ThePinkMan Sorry to interrupt; but testicles are one of the "magic buttons" for sure. I practice MAA and krav maga in paralell for some years(KM is basically a dirty MA+weapons) and is amazing how a beautiful chess match as the bjj turns in randori, can be inmediately terminated by grabbing the balls or with a strategic punch in the medulla oblongata(wich means paralisis or death, that's why is strictly forbidden in all m.arts, but is always there unprotected in many moves...).

  • @cristianpino Applying a rear naked choke to an expert could be very complicated, but touching the nose(also forbbiden) makes it easy... Is not that you go there strait, but when properly executed with strategy (right point, momentum, torque), those moves terminate a fight inmediately, and there are many "magic points".

  • @Tudeburger ...e.g., even if I'm losing, I'm not going to pop the other guy's eye out or try to bite his nose off. Therein lies the honor of combat sports.

  • There are a lot of ignorant people here talking about kung fu without knowing what it is... if you have ever practice at least a month of kung fu you can tell that this poor guy in yellow trunks is actually kick boxing and not fighting real kung fu... a real fighter of kung fu would have pressed nervous points (dim mak) when that bjj guy gets closer.. enough to paralyze anybody's ass

  • @altazor1977 LMAO u insane bro? get real please!

  • @altazor1977 That's absurd science fiction bullshit. Kung fu is good for learning discipline and developing a stronger mind and body, but it's useless in a cage fight.

  • @Maafa1619 no, my friend.... you should read a little about dim mak and kioshu jitsu... and your comment just enforces one of my commets: there are a lot of ignorant people here, just like you, talking about things they can even imagine....

  • @altazor1977 Unless you live in a Kung Fu movie, Kung Fu is completely useless.

  • @altazor1977 if that shite works then get yourself into the UFC, a lot of money to be made from paralyzing there ass!

  • SAKU FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!

  • SAKUUUUUUUUUU TRAIN THEM !!!!!!

  • This Delucia clown is not a five animals Kung Fu expert. He practises sport Kung Fu. Just look at his stance and his strikes. Royce Gracie is by far a better fighter than him.

  • Royce Gracie is hoping not to fight against a real kung-fu expert..

  • @solistas95 Look up Jason Delucia, go to one of his classes and tell me he or his style is not real, he is five animals Kung Fu artist and hes fought against Matt Hume, Minoru Suzuki, Yuki Kondo, Ikuhisa Minowa, Kiuma Kunioku, Chris Lytle, and Manabu Yamada, again learn before you speak

  • @parks2000 True. But just because he knows animal kung fu doesn't make one of the top world's kung fu experts. I love kung fu, but only the best kung fu fighters would have a chance of being successful against a grappling like the Gracie's without studying grappling. Even then, they might still lose considering the fact Gracie's can take powerful punches from a guy like Ken.

  • His my bRO !!!!

  • C'mon, you can tell that this guy, delucia, it's not even a martial arts practicioner...

  • @altazor1977 Look him up

  • @altazor1977 Look him up, then you tell me, hes a 5 Animals Style of Kung Fu, yes he is real and so is his Kung Fu

  • This is why you work on ground game .

  • haha my friend martial arts is my life. You can think what you want but I do know my stuff. I never said gracie jiu jitsu is only useful on a matt. You are putting words in my mouth now haha. I said "The only time gracie jiu jitsu will be in full effect is when your in a cage with a nice comfortable matt" key word "Full effect". The thing I had a problem with is how the gracie family tries to prove thier art is superior and every other one is useless.

  • This video is interesting. It is obvious that the gracie family is trying to portray how their style "gracie jiu jitsu" is dominant to all other martial arts. This is simply not true. First of all its never about the martial art but the practioner of that martial art. Secondly gracie jiu jitsu is only effective in one on one combat. the ground is the last place you wanna be in a fight. The only time gracie jiu jitsu will be in full effect is when your in a cage with a nice comfortable matt

  • @gabbagoob1 I have to disagree buddy, first of all i doubt you are a martial art master of anything so you dont have much of a right to state that... and jujutsu is pretty useful in any fight real or not, if you knew where the art itself originated from you wouldnt disagree.. but i do have to agree that any martial art is not better than the other and jujutsu is definitely not for multiple opponents

  • @CrimsonGetsu I have trained in a lot of martial arts over the years and jiu jitsu is one of them. Jiu jitsu is very useful if your just fighting one guy, but thats not the case in a lot of fights. So what do you do when two guys are fighting you at once? The gracie family says jiu jitsu is the best and thats all you need. And I do know where it comes from. It comesfrom the streets of brazil. Well actually it started in japan and was brought to brazil where helio gracie added to it.

  • @gabbagoob1 the samurai utilized jujutsu to choke each other out using their Gi in real life/death situations... strikes were less practical due to their armor, chokes and short knives such as the tanto knife were common... even farther back it was thought to come from chine and introduced to ronnin class samurai... it speaks for itself, jujutsu was used in actual battle... your saying its only useful in a matt, i still think you dont really know much of martial arts

  • ya duuuuhhh he doesnt no grappleing grapple on concreate and both of u get uf face smached in congrats dip

  • delucia is a loser.

  • hats off to royce gracie.

  • I didn't see no Kung Fu.

  • @solidsnakeO7D Gracie imposed his style on DeLucia too quickly for him to get anything off. You see that happen in a lot videos with strikers going up against grapplers.

People assume that when martial artists of two different disciplines go up against each other that it will be a dynamic clash of styles, but in reality these fights are often one-sided. If a fighter only knows a single discipline, he's vulnerable to techniques of an other style.

  • @solidsnakeO7D This is Fung Fu, the difference is that this is real life Kung Fu vs what you see in the movies. Fung Fu is very ineffictive.

  • Arte Suave

  • Deluchia was no slouch when it came to kung fu. But Kung Fu is very useless. I remember when people use to think kung fu and karate were all that. That was before UFC 1# in 1993.

  • @skywalker7327

Mixing styles is where the whole point of "MMA" comes from; if you think karate is something to slouch about, maybe you should relook at GSP, Chuck Liddel, and Bas Rutten...

  • @bnctaj Those guys rarely kick. And Liddel was a kick boxer. My point was years ago people use to think Van Dam and Bruce Lee were great and real fighters when they are not. I don't know how old you are but I grew up in 1980's and people were WAY off when people talked about fighting. In UFC 1# not many thought a wrestler or grappler would win UFC 1#.

  • NO GI!!!

  • @specialforces69 Wow, you are really, really wrong about Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Oh well.

  • kung-fu master is the bjj Cock Cum!

  • this is the guy who a couple of years later had his liver ruptured by bas rutten :D

  • If i was tried to got choked i would put my finger in his eye..before i got there

  • @dlvt79 you would need to take your finger outta your ass 1st

  • @B9King937 yes u r the master...Hahaha...I dont remember my comment but i am sure that u have dillusions..Ok.I ll be quite not to wake up u ...SSSSSS

  • Some styles of kung fu also have grappling and ground fighting if im not wrong

  • Jason Delucia is not a good version of a great Kung Fu fighter........Infact I doubt we would find one on youtube lol.............Gracie was awesum brilliant in his prime but there were guys who he refused to fight...................the media only showed what it wanted too.............

  • Comment removed

  • which is which? and why are they wrestling

  • Bruce Lee would have gotten taped out, all bruce's stuff was choreographed, and I heard he got man handled by Gene Label, and if he couldn't handle Gene Label, no way he could have handled Ryoce.

  • @Ninjabarbour haha u dont know shit kid

  • Lol what I meant to say is I don't rate delucia as a decent challenge or representative of Kung Fu ... I don't think bjj is the be all and end all and I don't believe Gracie faught any decent Kung Fu guys emin bozpede would have been a good fight but they could never agree on a location and there were fighters who refused to fight funny that lol

  • @gryfin80 - Brother.. .don't take me wrong. But I've trained kung fu for 7 years, capoeira for 2 years and i've been practicing BJJ for the last 4 years. Both have great techniques and strong points. But BJJ or JJ itself can't be compared to Kung Fu. Kung fu is very much like capoeira: really beautifull, graceful movements and stuff, but in a controlled environment, JJ is way more effective!

  • @tiaputadobatiman yeah mate some really good points but it depends on the style of kung fu..........I practice Wing Chun and our Lineage (Jim Fung>Sigung Chu Shong TIn) is nothing like dancing lol and your right in a controlled environment jj will definately dominate.......but my friend i ask why would Carlon Gracie want to incorperate wing chun into his system ?? its simple because it works:)

  • @tiaputadobatiman by that u mean only a gym? or like a bar or some other environment? what do mean by controlled?

  • @tiaputadobatiman best comment

  • In order to lengthen Rorion Gracie's "Jiu-Jitsu Video Collection," he told Royce to delay the fight and play with him for a bit. If it ended too quick, he wouldn't have enough footage to shoot to document on the audio when they sold them. This is simply Royce just messing around and having fun, showing off that he always had complete control, and even let his head get in there on purpose. Delucia admitted to it as well as Royce. Royce never throws punches lol. It's kinda finny.

  • gracie has never fought bruce lee

  • @wolfg07 Royce Gracie >>>>>>>>> Bruce Lee

  • @seclusively horseshit comparison

  • Wow, Royce's punches are as weak as a little girl.

  • @carddealer758V2 Mine are weak too but Royce still had Jason DeLucia cock up on the mat like an on-it's-back big roach.

  • @carddealer758V2 You need to understand that the punches Royce's uses are not meant to be damaging really, he just uses them to help improve his position so he can execute a submission technique.

  • It's called predictatext on my iPhone u little bitch

  • Gracie punches like a girl lol....

I'm biased I don't think these do called masters were really any good I wish he hd of caught eminent bozpede or waterer his name is n gjj is not the best fighting system in the world they're are all good graces are just good fighters and there's alot of theories on who they taught n who they wouldnt fight...

  • @gryfin80 learn how to speak fucking english before you trash someone.

  • @gryfin80

he wasn't trying to kill the guy, just let him know that he could take unanswered strikes all day, and regardless, their point has been proven, royce fought many great fighters heavier than him, and won using this art. it's not an art of killing, it's an art of subduction that can be used to kill.

typically everyone's like "going to the ground bad idea" bjj helps you get off the ground too. and run, like you'd need to in a situation to grave to fight on the ground in the first place

  • @gryfin80 If I could understand a word of that I'd probably disagree with you. You sound ignorant.

  • Gracie jiu jitsu is amazing, I been studying it for about 2 months and i could all ready beat people twice my size. Noobs a course!!!

  • @elhectordiaz909

i did boxing for 9 months, and I learned a whole lot about stand-up. but after 4 inconsistent months of bjj training, ive become much more efficient in a fight and can get up or use the ground at will

even tho it was only grappling, my friend who is 200 lbs, long-time fan of mma, knows a lot about grappling. wanted to grapple with me i'm 145 lbs. a little no-gi jiu jitsu training was enough to tap him out numerous times or keep him mounted for extremely long periods of time.

  • why is Royce looking better on his feet than the douche bag he's fighting?

  • Plane and simple gjj is good reason why the military we use it but you an idiot if you rely on it alone , but gjj is well rounded. And it does included punches and striking but it rely taking it to the ground were a smaller or less musculer apponent can take on any one

  • The punch did get him to let go, but why that when he could have just moved side control into north/south? Royce knows his stuff more than I do so I won't question it if he says that the rib punch was the better move.. but still.. u dont get a lot of punching power when you have your head locked up

  • @LVN2RNMMA That was exactly what i anticipated he would of done, when in north/south that hold holds nothing you just slide out, but i guess its not doing royce any harm and hes got all the time inthe world so he just done a couple of cheap shots and then ecaped the hold back in the mount!

  • Running out of air? Its a blood choke.

  • @PaperNun What are you talking about?

  • @bullshidohunter i agree

  • @bullshidohunter Yes, thats what I mean. Modern Judo, the one with all the "rules" make it into a sport. In a real theres no rules so modern judo cant fit into a real street fight. Unless you were talking about Kosan which is a combat art

  • Just out of curiosity to all of you guys that seem to think that these videos are just ''shams,'' what the hell do you call UFC 1-4? I mean, Royce wasn't even considered the best of the Gracie clan and he laid his game down quite flat. I mean, he beat guys waaaaaaay heavier than he was and won up to 3 times in one night. Plus that was before all these silly rules that have made it more of a sport than an actual fight. I'm just saying, pure grapplers usually beat pure strikers. Usually.

  • What do guys think BJJ VS SYSTEMA russian martial art ?

  • fighting on the ground on the streets is suicidal . one kick in the head from someone and you are dead meat . it is good to know some bjj or judo, but without some striking skill it is very hard in real situations , no referee , no knowing how many and who , no knowing if some conceal weapons are involved etc ... some striking power can make the difference between life and death .

  • listen to gracie's commentary he always keeps plausible deniability in all these commentaries. "this gung fu expert who had 15 yrs of training and "claimed" to be undefeated". Well Mr. Gracie don't bother to confirm it yourself.

Cuz that way if it ever gets out the guy was in the walmart parking lot pan handling 15 minutes before you filmed it, you can say "hey he claimed to be an expert" Go through all these videos and listen to the comments you'll see a disntinct pattern. Total sham.

  • is the best stuff is ridiculous

  • I'll tell you why, these videos would have had different results thats why, I wrestled in highschool, having grappling skills is important in any fighter outside a stand up boxing match, but the notion that it is the best or that it doesn't have MAJOR weaknesses that many other arts dont have is nonsense, added to which I find this entire thing to be a shell game set up by the gracie clan to sell their art, fine, good for them, i begrudge nobody for being succesful business people, but this bjj

  • So fake!

  • @bnsaints why? do u actually have any knowledge of fighting or mma?

  • @rase uhhh no I just thought it would be cool to reply. LOL Of course I do, not one of these Gracie videos has any documentation of who these EXPERTS are. It is always some generic title like king fu master, hap kido expert etc... All these videos from the 70's and 80's have no named hobo's they picked off the street to sell this shit unimpressive system called gracie ju jitsu. How come Gracie never challed been the jet (who NEVER turned down a challenge EVER) or Dennis Alexio, or Tyson etc..

  • Dominated in his time!

  • I dobt care what anyobe says, royce made mma what it is today and even though he has lost with the new age fighters he made it what it is now. No one can take that from him. He wooped on alot of people when the shit was so real that they didnt even wear gloves. Gracie "legend"

  • @wutingchou Gracie jiu jitsu has been proven against any and all martial arts, if you bring a weapon in against anybody its not a fair fight.Gracie Jiu-Jitsu is the most effective martial art out there today the only way to beat a jiu jitsu practitioner is to also have studied and learned jiu jitsu.

  • having a gracie jiu jitsu black belt on top of you, is like having an andaconda squeeze you

  • Every fight that Royce has had after his prime doesn't count in my book.

  • @RRCSMM , Ok my friend. but still UFC or any other MMA is a sport, not for real combat. In actual combat, BJJ is useless if the attacker's skill is on bladed weapons.

  • @wutingchou It's a pretty bad idea to bet on anything with empty hands if the opponent has a bladed weapon. I assume you mean knives, but all I can imagine is empty hand vs. Claymore.

  • the guy in white looked 2D.....

  • @RRCSMM , i agree with u my friend. That's why the gracies should stop being too proud of their skill as gracie Jiujitsu. They thought their discipline is the best. Kindly check a Japanese guy by the name of Sakuraba who beat 4 Gracies. They are now Dis-gracies =)

  • Guys, the problem with BJJ or any Jiujitsu practitioner is that once they engage in actual real streetfight with MORE THAN ONE attacker, the BJJ guy will be beaten to a pulp for the simplest reason that BJJ is only for one on one fights. PERIOD! =)

  • This match took place at the old Gracie academy which was in old town Torrance, California on Carson Street. They have now moved to north Torrance off Artesia Boulevard & I-405 freeway, close to LAX.. If'n you're in town, stop by. If'n your a legitimate fighter, throw down a challenge. Depending on your skill level, all requests are met. Who'za know, it may be me.. So stop all the dip chat & settle tings in da cage.

  • @twistedfishy4u does this mean that the video will be published by the Gracie academy even if i win?

  • Quem está lutando não é o Royce e sim o Rorion

  • 1:41= BRUTAL

  • Comment removed

  • the chop suey man thinks he bruce lee. note the lead foot ready, He has been watching to many bruce lee films. Bruce, yes, one of the best, but this chop suey master no.

  • that claim to be undefeated is kind a childish but i a ninja and ima undefeated and i woud kick that greaseballs ass 6-0

  • Japanese Judo still overpowers BJJ. I cant stand the Gracie family.

  • @romansoldierofhonor sorry man but BJJ is way more efficient.... its based on technique and not "overpowering" like you say

  • @romansoldierofhonor You can't compare to martial arts like that only fighters that practice them! if the gracie family did judo they would be just as good!

  • @romansoldierofhonor BJJ and Judo are different, both grappling, but different. But the main similarity in judo and bjj, is NO strength is really needed. ONLY TECHNIQUE. Also, before you go dogin on Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, you should know that alot of jiu Jitsu people know Judo too, for stand up throws and takedowns, and when thrown you know what to do. AND Judo is A SPORT. not a combat art. So stfu cause the gracie family is a family full of warriors!

  • @SirRoman1998 why dont you go ride their dicks then. pussy.

  • Comment removed

  • @romansoldierofhonor thats pretty harsh dude, ure a fag for attacking him like that :/

  • @romansoldierofhonor I know what im talking about because im educated in this kinda stuff, your just a nobody that doesnt know shit about martial arts and rants on people who do.

  • @SirRoman1998 I agree with "technique" but My Parents where trained by Gunji Koizumi & i was trained by them since the age of 5 years. All of us -6th dan black Judokas & we worked HARD! Not like Todays "Ju-Jokes"!! JUDO is derived for the Samurai cause Jujitsu's strikes where useless against body Armour. In 1886 Kodokan Judo went up against the greatest Totsuka jujutsu masters of the era winning 12 of 15 / 1 draw forever changing history! JUDO IS A POWERFUL COMBAT ART- どうもありがとう

  • @SirRoman1998 Man, I'm a brazilian, and I trained both in a long time.

BJJ is very boring to watch, but is funnier when you're in a fight.

Judo is the complete opposite: annoying as a hell on the dojo, but very exciting as a show.

  • @SirRoman1998 I do bjj and I love it, however: Calling Judo a non combat art is wrong. Just saying.. It's wrapped up like a sport, but Randori and the continuous drilling of the chosen techniques that Judo consists of, make it an excellent combat art. It depends on the style of Judo too.

  • @SirRoman1998 The origianal Judo that Kano developed is a true martial art used for the streets. Sad that Judo has been manipulaterd by the olympics to become a sport.

  • @SirRoman1998 I agree with you with except for the part about no strength, strength definitely helps execute technique..sometimes one's strength can negate an opponent's technique (watch Matt Hughes v. Royce Gracie)

  • @SirRoman1998 Honestly a real warrior uses a Barret M82 from a mile away to blow his opponent in half. That's why the US military does not use fists to fight (though they do have some hand to hand training), but tanks, planes, guns and the like. Let's see hand to hand "warriors" against modern warriors, I'm sure the results will not come out in favor of the hand to hand combatants. I'm really only responding to the last part of your post, referring to hand to hand combatants as warriors.

  • @DJSNuva1 You cant be serious. No offense but any fool can take 6 weeks of boot camp and learn how to fire a lead projectile into someone else.Even the worst and dumbest thug can point a 9 at your face and greatly nullify any chance of having hand to hand used on them.Modern warriors are different than hand to hand but they are both still warriors.Question for you.I see you at McDonalds eating with your family.I come up and attack you.Got your gun on you? This is why hand to hand is important.

  • Notice Royce has duct tape on his right hand/fingers ? Delucia says it ripped his skin when he was hit.

  • @EboncrusaderOM82 basically Helio is a frikin genius, because now you don't have to be strong. You can be in any shape, and use leverage to your advantage. I'm still trying to figured out how you think it came from judo. Judo is similar, but has always had different objectives.

  • @EboncrusaderOM82 honestly why did u jump in u just sound dumb. I have been taking jiu jitsu for years, and people that have no clue try to prove me wrong all the time. I never said judo was invented from bjj. However bjj was not invented from judo, and I don't know how you came up with that. In 1914 a Japanese joy jitsu master named Mitsuyo Maeda immigrated to brazil. Gastao Gracie helped him settle in exchange for him to teach his son Carlos Gracie jiu jitsu. Helio was smaller than his brothe

  • @sonofdisaster72 Maeda was a Judoka trained under Jigoro Kano himself. The reason we call the art that was taught to the Gracies by him Jiu Jitsu is because at the time Maeda left Japan to travel the world promoting Kano's Jiu Jitsu, the name Judo hadn't been coined yet. The modern Judo was heavely modified since Maeda's time, and the BJJ too, but there is no doubt that our (I am both Brazilian and a BJJ player) Jiu Jitsu comes from Kano's Judo. No shame there, Judo has balls.

  • @marcosfenrir QFT! Well said!

  • @marcosfenrir Maeda was a direct student...but he was sent to the Fusen Ryu Jujutu school to learn the ground game. Kano and Judo has never really developed their own. Good luck telling the same BS story that Judos been telling for years because nobody around here knows any better.

  • A guillotine choke can't be executed if your opponent has you mounted..like in the situation where Jason tries to apply the choke while he is mounted by Royce.

If someone is attempting to choke you while you have them mounted: stay calm, let them waste energy, don't freak out and hurt your neck and you can punch them in the side to relieve the neck pressure and break the headlock..like Royce did.

In modern mma. No fighter would ever attempt a choke while mounted. And that is the only opport

  • @AaronSobo also tri-pod up. They don't have as much leverage that way

  • @specialforces69 when I say I agree I mean I agree that you should state it like that so noobs can understand.

  • @specialforces69 you right dude. I agree

  • Wait a minute, so the guy is trying to choke out Royce Gracie, and Royce repeatedly punches him in the ribs causing him to let go. Why doesn't other MMA fighters do this? I always see them choking like that all the time and the idiot stuck inside never punches the opponent, he always tries to force himself out.

  • @specialforces69 well, i agree...but anderson, bj and fedor... I think speed and movement make you more of and athlete, than power. Fedor, anderson, bj...they got the speed and movement-advantage, Hughes has the power-advantage of an athlete, but without speed and movement the power comes up short..

  • @specialforces69... I think you have problems... First off Anderson silva is not undefeated. He is undefeated in ufc but he has lost a couple of times and one of those to a flying scissor heel hook. Second if you honestly believe the gracies didn't invent bjj u are dumb. Third judo was invited and originated from jiu jistsu so suck it on that one. Fourth you are right those locks were around for years... Greeks and many other cultures used those locks and submissions, but the graces added alot

  • @sonofdisaster72 judo originated from japanese jiu jitsu not brazilian jiu jitsu then helio gracie modified the JUDO he had learned and turned it into brazilian jiu jitsu get your facts straight before trying to correct others

  • Grande!!!

  • Jason is not a great striker, and dont understand the grapling- if your personal opinion on jason is that he is great striker(kung fu expert) then you are really in your own world. Totally agree that bjj/mma rule all- but jason is a discrase 2 kung fu, so sad that you or any one else think he is great at kung fu:(

  • @SuperiorSquid so I guess it was more of a misscommunication in what we BOTH meant. If you have the option to get away at anypoint in a situation with that many people you should, because you are only one false step or mistake from getting the crap kicked out of you and possibly killed by that many people no matter how trained you are. Even though I love grappling and train in grappling we can both agree that BJJ in a street fight is a bad idea

  • @neomage2021

Indeed, I completely agree with you. And one question, how is Muay Thai? I maybe want to also start with that.

  • On the street BJJ would be proved useless when he hugs me and I put a knive on his neck. And, with kung fu/ karate / Muay Thai you learn to deafeat and kill around 6 people at the same time. When you have one guy to the ground with BJJ the others will just slam you cause you are on a low position. The best way to survive is to know several fighting sports. Like, Karate, Muay Thai, and BJJ.

  • @SuperiorSquid How old are you? 10?

  • @soad2711

No, what makes you think so? You are probaly an ignorant moron who thinks BJJ rules everything. Well think again, it does not.

  • @SuperiorSquid okay so most of what you say is true. BJJ is not a good idea in the street especially if someone has friends around... but the part about kung fu/karate/ muay thai teaching you how to "defeat and kill around 6 people at the same time" is flat out stupid. NO one is going to be able to take on 6 guys at once that just doesn't happen... period. you can be easily over powered. The bets thing to do int hat situation is to run like your life depends on it because it very well might.

  • @neomage2021

A good friend of mine is training at Kunchiro Kempo, and he is trained at 6 man at a time. When he went to the city he had a fight with several people, and he won. You all clearly dont do any fighting sports. So stop talking about stuff you cannot talk about.

  • @neomage2021 Also, i dont say you can easily beat 6 guys, I say you get TRAINED to beat 6 guys. That is a difference ofcourse.

  • @SuperiorSquid I actually train at of Greg Jackson's MMA in submission wrestlign, muay thai and MMA and have amateur experience in all 3. ALso you are correct in that arts like krav maga and kempo teach you how to engage multiple opponents. I have a tiny bit of experience in kempo. They teach you mainly how to striking the most devestating ways while keeping moving to get out of the situation. I know the instructor I had the short time I was in kempo kept saying if we stop moving we are dead

  • @myslimakastreetfight If it turns you on then that means that you are gay

  • Bruce lee was one of the fastest and strongest men for his weight. this shiti clown royce is fighting is a shame 2 kungfu- he is better on the ground then he is standing up- By the way:bruce lee would bitch-slap royce. Bruce lee may not have had a fightrecord, nobody wanted 2 fight him- world champions and everyone who seen Bruce lee in action discribes him as a master of what he did. Bruce lee was one of the best atleets of all time, Gracie is one of the worst atleet, looks like a nerd.

  • @666apekatt rickson gracie would demolish bruce no problem

  • @666apekatt Of coarse hes shitty. Anybody Kung Fu guy who loses sucks right? Doesn t matter who royce fights. U r basiclly saying that because he never fought bruce lee means Royce deserves no credit? Thats called moving the goal posts. Royce gracie wasn t the best BJJ guy out there. He still fucked this Kung fu guy. Just admit that kung fu is dated and doesn t evolve . Thats way nobody who wants to be regarded as a legitimate fighter would train Kung fu if you paid him.

  • @thegliphic

Kung fu does evolve actually. San da is the newest form of it. Dont talk about stuff you cannot talk about mate.

  • @SuperiorSquid Ha . you again! Please enlighten me then on San Da . Might I remind you that when I say evolve I mean evolving from crappy 1980's kung fu movie tv hype into a fight efficient form that people flock to to learn and add to their bag of mixed martial arts arsenal. MMA is with a doubt the most effective and dominant stage of fight evolution . Where is kung fu in all this?? don t be affraid of details thank you. Vague statements by you r getting kinda boring

  • @thegliphic

Many MMA train kung fu styles. Dont forget almost every fighting sports comes from Kung fu. Cause near any fighting sport comes from the east, and almost every figthing sport of the east has its origins in kung fu. I saw a giant MMA guy that fought with wushu kung fu as example. You clearly dont know where you are talking about.

  • @SuperiorSquid Name 1 mma guy who trains Kung fu . IT may have come from Kung Fu but you realize they are no longer Kung Fu right? there is big differance between paying respect to Kung Fu and thinking the newer MA's can t be more effeiciant just because they came from Kung FU. that makes no sense. You r clearly a boy because wushu is designed entirely for show. Not for fighting. What the name of the mma guy? whats the name of the wushu fag? I think u are full of shit !

  • @thegliphic

As I already said kung fu also teaches to think outside the box, wich is more effective in fights. Still, the style is without doubt Kung fu. Also the same for karate, you need to think outside the box. Not only with the standard techniques you learned. And wushu made up for show? Were do you get all that information? Wushu is an hard and very complex technique, but really impressive when you are good at it.

  • @SuperiorSquid How do you know what I've learned?Maybe you have only learned standard techniques.

Thinking outside the box?? lol please elborate. But avoid all my questions anyway lol I get my info from wushu practitioners...where else? Wushu may be hard but it has nothing to do with fighting . mygirlfriend could beat up those wushu toe pointers.Wushu is like a dance. thats all.

  • @thegliphic

And the Wushu MMA guy I talked about, was an idiot. He lost is patience about something. Really stupid and he did not know the mental parts of the training. It has to be somewhere on youtube. But I quit the argument now, I can never show an MMA fan that marterial arts is real, in what form so ever. When you would talk to an MMA student they will tell you that they actually learn the marterial arts I talk about. (Muay Thai, Karate, Kung fu, Wrestling, BJJ.)

  • @SuperiorSquid excuses excuses excuses. the wushu guy got his ass kicked right? who is saying martial arts aren t real ??lol do u know what u you are even arguing about any more??? lol So you are saying mma people AREN T learning Muay Thai, Karate etc.???? lol what are they learning then?? hahahah
