@devildog3406 No your not a man ...your just some keyboard tough guy.....If you refer back to my original question i asked a simple question ..which had to it ( A simple answer ) and you decided to a smart ass and throw out an insult.....I suggest you go back to boot camp and learnt some manners because its pretty obvious that the first time you were there you didn't learn anything and continued to be a little smart ass..( If you really did do boot camp that is )
@USMC1440 Hi there I am a past Marine Martial Arts Instructor, if you need any help, I got your help. Will even make a few trips down to Paris Island for a little vacation.
Well i can see you have proper military grammar and punctuation with your abrupt and rude comment ..I asked a simple question and you got up on your high horse and decided to throw out an insult..yes what a big man you are.
Why don't you get your little smart ass self back into boot camp and learn some manners ... obviously you didn't pay any attention during boot camp because if you did you would have come out a man like 99% of them ..and not the smart ass that you are
The Point of what, Aussie? The point of that specific night is to give Poolees a small taste of whats to come. The yelling....thats just what they do. No reason to try and understand it. Thats how the Marines do it...and its worked for them.
Fucking hell that's pretty intense...can i ask whats the point of it...I know yelling is needed because all commands are shouted on the battlefield...but is yelling straight at recruits faces something that is necessarily going to make them better soldiers
Yes give them spray when they fuck up ...but while standing in formation do they really need to be screamed at like that...its not the best way to bring out the best in a person / solider
now if the black di didnt have on that uniform most of you would call her a ghetto bitch #im just saying how a hat shirt and pants can shange people view of you which is sad
@USMC1440 with all respect sir i wouldn't give you my ship date because it feels you specifically want to rip us a new hole hahahahahahaha well i am leaving to san diego i really wanted to go to Paris island because of of its rich history background.
just so everybody knows, if you're a poolee and you still have not yet made up your mind about joining, you have until your 2 feet touch the famous yellow footprints. but once you sign the papers, you're in whether you like it or not.
Well my family night is tomorrow .. so ya realy lookin forward to this... hell gota do 12 weeks of this so all of us goin in might as well soak up whts goin happen when ur in boot... ship out july 25th orrahhh
That being said i have to hrow a bull Shit flag on this one. Please do not dishonor or disgrace the Drill Instructors of PI, they say that imitation is the highest form of flattery. Well in this case it isn't. Apply to the school, pass the psych eval, fitness eval, Financial review, and countless other evals. And you will find that DI's will not post on here, in their cases, actions speak louder than words on here will. And for the record. Males will rarely at best EVER encounter a female DI
i noticed that USMC 1440 was asking for names portrying himself as a USMC drill instructor at MCRD PI what i fnd amzing is that he is 22 yrs old and is leaving to go pan gold in alaska also? a 22 yr old DI? most DI's are at least on their second tour and a SGT minimum. And if you are a DI then you would trly know that you cannot go to any other Drill decks and engage the Recruits. unless you are directly assined to their training. The only exception is when inCommon areas, IE chow hall, etc.
@USMC1440 Lol there are over 700 Drill instructors and senior DI's currently instructing in the recruit training Bn's alone not including DI school, and DI's not attached to platoons, and you are gonna help how? lol please feel free to message me with your name rank, and Bn and Company let me help you out. Email me at Ripcordusmc@yahoo.com
@USMC1440 Sir just wondering if that means making their life even more of a hell then it already will be? Greetings from an Air Force Cop (Security Forces).
That Staff Sergeant, to me, does not have good command presence. The bobble-headedness, apparent lack of control over body-position, and excessive hand gestures just look comical to me. Short E-5 isn't much better. I'm glad my Drills didn't act like that in '05, or I may have been killed while trying to suppress my laughter.
@USMC1440 Bane. June 13th is my ship date. Also if you could "help" some of my friends get through too that would be awesome! I'm sure they'll love me for it. Zelenka, Eubank, Janik are their names. They would love some enthusiastic advice you might be willing to give them.
@USMC1440 Bane. June 13th is my ship date. Also if you could "help" some of my friends get through too that would be awesome! I'm sure they'll love me for it. Zelenka, Eubank, Janik are their names. They would love some enthusiastic advice you might be willing to give them.
@willPTforfood are you for real thinking that idiot is a Drill Instructor at Parris Island and is going to get you through? This is not the Army, you have to actually succeed to make it through no DI is gonna help you personally as a favor. do be so naive.
@MrStoneman69 obviously you didnt read my comment right. i was telling this guy the names of my friends so he can go fuck with them if he sees them. not to go look them up find their platoon adn give them a day off. no this is not the army and what i meant by the help that i put in quotation marks was for him to fuck with them if he ever has the opportunity.
@USMC1440 Bane. June 13th is my ship date. I've got a few friends headed up there. Zelenka, Eubank, and Janik. If you could "help them get through parris island" that would be greatly appreciated, sir ;)
@willPTforfood there are three battalions on Parris Island, each one has four companies with 4 platoons per company, plus receivingm and then fourth recruit training bn for females, that means that there are over 200 DI's per Bn plus senior Drill instructors, so basically over 700 DI's at one time working the island, and this one faker is gonna help you? lol
I just got back from my first family night, it was crazy, we had to take off our shoes then take out our shoe lasses, it wasn't anything like this but still it kept you going
My family night was 3 hours in a park. we had to run in the fuckin heat of late june. Poolees fell out and one guy passed out from dehydration. We had IT too, your family night was easy.
I honestly wish the Army would go back too this shit. This definetly makes you shit your pants and let's know know who is in charge. I give credit to the Marines for keeping the intensity through the entire period. I just wish the Army would have stayed the same.
Yep I remember this at my Marine night except our DI took us outside, and i got locked up at the door when i first got there. The DI is like go outside alright come back in go back out now say aye sir alright go back out and find some volume it was a good time i can't wait til i shit in July!
as328 and ricet07... congratulations on your decisions to enlist and i wish the best of luck to the both of you. boot camp isnt the easiest thing in the world to get through and i know that from experience. again, i wish you both the best of luck. p.s. ... the fleet is awesome
@sasian3531 boot was the easy in my opinion. You are told what to do and how. As an Infantryman, you must be able to make decisions without direction or thought. If you can't, you or your brothers die. I wish the U.S. would make it mandatory 4 years in the Corps. Maybe then we would have a worthy leader for this country?
haha thats funny that they yell in front of your parents. you would think they would have respect on family night or whatever. But anyways cant wait for it, going in spring or summer time.
thanks for the info man. Im not so much worried for me ill be ok and have covered most of the mental factors but of course you cant prepare for a kick in the balls haha Im more worried about my parents haha they will worry hardcore if they see this

DI if that is the case I hope to all who reads this don't think yur gonna hold their hand... DON'T BELIEVE THEY R HAND HOLDERS READER PLZ 4 THE LOVE OF THE SWEAT AND SPIT THAT WILL B ON U WHEN THEY R IN YA FACE put out 2 easy
i wanna see a drill instructor-off....a lady DI against a gentleman DI... like who can yell the loudest, who the recruits think is more fierce, and how hard they can make life for them...that'd be interesting. (dont worry im joing the Corps in like 5-6 years)
my brother was a corpsman at parris island and said you do NOT want to be the recruit in the sites of a female DI..they is holy hell in a hand basket.
I guess all family nights are a bit different. For what it's worth, ours was Buffalo, NY. I am grateful, as a parent for any insight into boot camp I get, since communication will be minimum.
