God has never failed. Man has failed and God is rich in mercy and kindness and good. Why are you so angry at God? Have you ever thanked God for anything? Is there anything you are thankful for? God gave you life, food, clothes, friends, family, a place to sleep, education, health, air, yet you don't seem to give God credit for anything. Ask God to soften your hard heart. Once you have a new heart, you will have new desires and understand God in a different way.
jUST LOOK AT YOURSELF FOR A MOMENT AND THINK WHO CREATED YOU?how can such a thing be created for the first time on it,s own.If you eat delicious food ,you always say it was cooked good but can the food be cooked by itself? nothing can come into existence without a creator ,so who do you think created you and this beautiful world which has a fixed system of day and night?
I agree with voldmero these failures are not gods failures but mans. To have failed you must have a goal. Therefore if your goal is not complete and has no way of being completed then you have failed. But that is not so. To say god has failed you have to know what his goal is, and take into the acc that he gives us a choice. He may want us to do a certain thing that would work perfectly, but because of our free will we may not do as he asks of us and his plan be ruined because of us
These failures are all man's failures. But that is not all. They are also God's failures. Man was created in God's own image. The parent is accountable for the child. No matter how many times a child fails his father, the father can never hate him. That is why it was God who payed the price for the sins of mankind. Those who hold on to their lives will lose it, but those who don't will keep it.
He created people and gave them the responsibility of taking care of themselves and the earth. He gives us free will, so they are the mistakes of the humans.
god allow that to happen because he was telling everyone that, that was going to do that you should find someone who can revealed the treasure hidden in the bible you think that if you had some treasure and you leave a map would you make it easy just so any idiot would find it , im very sure that you would make hard enough, but hard enough so that if someone was really looking for that treasure that person would really find it but is someone was just trying to spoil it they would get confused
You missed one. God saw the misuse of his prophets' messages and chose a system of non-belief. Allow mankind to redeem themselves of their original sin - knowledge, and find God through it. I'd suggest people who can't get over uncertainty embrace this theory.
Dude, why do you blame God when it`s the people that failed. Thats one of the biggest problems with humanity is the lack of character to accept your own failures. Always seems that the "devil" made me do it, my dad who never hugged me made me do it, or the media made me do it... Christ, "man up" you bunch of panzy-ass bitches!
The book of Amos warns us that the Bible will be tooken away, and guess what. People will be sailing over seas to find it but it will not be found. So you are the failures because you try to burn the Bible, then when it's gone, you travel the world to find it! God is not a failure!
But people like you betray him and think everything he does is failure. For over thousands of years, people have been trying to kill off all Christians and burn or destroy every Bible on Earth. Till this day there are Christians and the Bible! Now you want to tell me God is a failure? God's people managed to survive through the harshest punishments for believing in him and they succeeded and Christianity is still a religion and always will be!
You see, the people grow worse and worse. Not God. God gave us the greatest gift of all: life, but idiots like you don't know how to spend it so they just sit around asking stupid questions. God is not failing, those people are failing. God is trying to do good for humans ex) change diet, give commandments, give kings, bring out of egyptian slavery ect. because he loves us enough to care for us and he gave his only son to go and die for all of us so that our sins could be forgiven.
God doesn't force you to do anything! And if you don't wanna be with God, then you are on your way to hell because when you die, you either go to heaven, or hell. You choose your afterlife. God gives us a chance to live our afterlife in a place too beautiful too imagine or you can throw that chance away and spend eternity in a place too horrible to imagine!
Noah was telling people that a storm was coming but nobody believed him so they drowned. God gave them a chance but they didn't take it! God didn't give people churches, he gave them brains to figure out themselves what is wrong and what is right! Hell isn't made for humans but yet they are running towards it. Revelation 3:20 Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me.
The Isrealites Daniel Shadrack and Meshack astounded the king with there wisdom and great education!!! God repeatedly bought Isreal to peace over and over again. The people did not succeed for long but this was there will and acts of rebellion. It is an important lesson to us of how much we need Gods grace and mercy! The bible does not hide any of our flaws it exploits them and if you do not understand or see that then your on another planet!!
God didn't fail. We failed. We made a huge mess of things, God cleaned it up... IE Flood.
Humans aren't God's puppets.God gave us free will. Humans used it wrong. God helps sometimes, rarely. God set life in motion. God gave it to humans and they did whatever they wanted. Humans are failable Face it, humans suck! And God gets blamed for it. But God loves us anyway.
There was too Commerce, temples, schools etc...It started with the Sumerians. So that part of your question doesn't work.
it shows how desparate we are for Gods mercy and grace it show how evil mankind is and how powerful satan and sin is why do you think the holy spirit wrote all this in there it shows how mankind are so easily lead into destruction..and its the same today
Good Grief people... There is no god, never has been, never will be.... Man made it all up over time, taking from here/there and inserting what is convenient...Man made religion has done nothing more than cause wars and a planet full of delusional idiots. Nevertheless, you'll continue to make up excuses and make statements that you believe offer proof of the existence of a god that hold ZERO weight. THEISTS make the claim but offer nothing but a mouth full of B.S. ...
Too easy. GOD never failed, we did. we chose to listen to satan, we failed the ten commandments, etc. he never failed, we did. food, our schools etc, have nothing to do with god. The rules do, nothing material does.& he always gave us new chances. like a good father would.
& the jews of jesus time were not going by the commandments, they were going by their talmud. and jesus called them on every bit of it too. thats why they killed him, because he was threatening their righteous, but bogus life.
well maybe God is so merciful he just let the sinful humans live. hes not perfect, hes the guy who doesent shoot the zombie twice and the zombie will bite people!
the first thing u should know about God is that he allows everyone the choice to live life as they please. he allows the sun to shine on everyone equally. he is not a slvae driver and he doesnt want man to be forced into worshipping him. Do u not think that God would have NOT created the tree of good and bad and not planted it in thee middle of eden then man would have never fallen. but he wanted to give man the choice. tbc
what u consider as God's failure, I consider as man's failure. man failed the very first test in the garden of eden and they were casted into a world of pain and suffering. every scenario u mentioned was man begging God for redemption, and God providing a way out. israelites asked for freedom, God sent moses, aaron and eventually joshua. man wanted jjudges and kings. God never wanted a King for israel but the people begged for that so he granted them their wish tbc
@sweetdietqueen anyway bottom line is that man disobeyed God, sinned against him, hated him etc but despite all man has done against him since the beginning of creation, he has never stopped loving man and trying to create a way for man to be delivered from the hands of the enemy and he's still doing that for us till today. I cannot imaginr loivng anyone for so long who has done nothin but hate me torture me and make my life miserable. i think God is wonderful and patient
@sweetdietqueen I can't imagine anyone creating a torture chamber for their children, then setting up a system of laws in which those they are all born guilty... then creating an "enemy" who's entire purpose is to make life miserable and lead the children into the torture chamber.
@azsuperman01 Satan wasnt creatd 2 b God's enemy. he was an angel of God. God but like brutus in julis cesar, satan wantd 2 b God. he wantd 2 dethrone God & make himself ruler of d world so he gatherd a host of angels in his quest 4 power. he decievd eve by temptin her & she later temped adam & d fall of man began.God was mad & he creatd hell 4 satan & his angels & said all followers of satan can go b togethr. notice God didnt make hell in any of d 7 days. hell was creatd after d fall of lucifer
@sweetdietqueen If you consider God as less-than-all-powerful and less-than-all-knowing, then I can accept that it may be man's fault. God may be doing his best, but he is simply unable to forsee that humans will not behave as he predicted they would. If, however, you think God is all-knowing and all-powerful -- then it makes no sense. He knows in advance which plans will fail and which will succeed, and there is no reason for him to continue with plans that he knows in advance will fail.
@azsuperman01 DUDE. ur so wrong about everything. God PUnished the jews for worshiping idols. he said so himself. he said also that they would be punished for "generations". but not all of them. God also ordered the angels (who brought about gods punishment) to leave the believers alone. He didnt fail at anything, ur just failing to realize that god brings about punishment.
@sweetdietqueen Apparently man had choice while still in the garden, otherwise they would not have "chosesn" to eat from the tree in the first place... unless you think eating from the tree was not a concious choice.
@azsuperman01 - yes, man did have a choice, because he had to follow out of his own free will, not be a slave. Think about it, why would man's relationship with God be anything special, if it was simply the only thing man could do. It would be more like making man a robot in that sense.
The issue still is a hard question, because, again, why would God allow it ? and many questions root from that...
@azsuperman01 I believe God is the most powerful person who we can imagine. I also believe that its not that he is infinite powerful! He too has restrictions. But your thinking on Jesus Crucifiction as God's failure doesn't make any sense coz that wasn't a failure that was a success. Thats how he saved the world. He is not someone who can think of something and make it happen all of a sudden. He is mighty powerful but that doesn't mean that he can do anything in any why at any time.
Where does is say that "every thing that liveth will be meat for you"? Just curious because it was my understanding that anything with split hooves was unclean and not to be consumed... Is this another biblical contradiction?
@lsdjpo Yet another contradiction, showing such diversity among the mens personal preferences who contributed to the idiotic story lines. For your reference, a complete list of "unclean" animals can be found in Leviticus chapter 11...
Amazing how so many actually still believe this bullshit... If you only actually KNEW the people of the region where these writings derived... If only you were more educated, you could get on with life in REALITY mode. There is no "afterlife"... No "god(s)"
@kastnmagic Perhaps you should go back and peruse all the postings I have made. I am an atheist.
"If only you were more educated"
From one post you seem to assume quite a lot. And although I am an atheist I would never state "There is no "afterlife"... No "god(s)" because just as the believer cannot know for certain (as some will claim), neither can you. By making an absolute statement, this brings the burden of proof on you. What evidence do you have for "no "afterlife"... No "god(s)".
@smurfboywv LOL!! Read your book of Myths and Fairy Tales.... Then come back and comment.... Man made up gods of all kinds since the beginning of "man"... There is NO god of any sort.... Just more idiots being convinced that there is.
@smurfboywv Uh, I don't need to prove what I'm saying... YOU are the one making the claim that there's an invisible Daddy in the sky... Therefore, the burden of proof lies with you, the theist.... There is NOTHING to prove that your claim is true, as usual... Only B.S. stories and man made B.S. "religious laws" .... The SAME type of ignorant people living today in remote Afghanistan, etc... are the same that wrote the books that you're ignorant enough to believe.
@kastnmagic As God once said "Even if I were to appear before you, you still would not believe". Its your soul thats doomed, not mine. You refuse to listen. Enjoy that lake of fire for eternity. God Bless.
Your concept of God failing just shows that you are not happy with your lot in life. Don't blame God, you apparently did it all by yourself, cause you don't need God. Or do you?
The bible in no way is about Gods failure. Its actually about His love because He remained faithful to mankind even in OUR constant rebellion and OUR FAILURE. None of these were failures for God. He orchestrated it. If you read these stories in context for what the bible says you will see this clearly. Even historically many of these events were prophesied before they occured.Hes displaying His character not responding,"oops messed that up, let's try again!" He's both just and the justifier!

If you take all of scripture in it's context and for what it says at face value it nevers says or shows that God fails. It's actually proof that God is a God of justice and mercy in light of MAN'S failure. God was never simply attempting to civilize anyone. He never failed. He actually pronounced these judgments and they came to pass historically. It shows God's success by showing his LOVE by Him being faithful to sinful people. God wasn't doing something then "oops, gotta try something else."
tough question for azsuperman01: Would have you liked it to be perfect from the beginning until the end? so this way you wouldn't even be living here but only in paradise, only light no darkness, only sweetness no bitterness, only laughing no crying...
So many are claiming that "God" is perfect. But it is natural that nothing is perfect. Not deity, not humans and not animals. We are all flawed in some way. How we deal with that flaw is one of the things that will define us. And the gods and goddesses have helped me so much to realize my potential...
God tested Adam and Eve after they sinned they failed the test, Eve blamed the serpent and Adam blamed her rather than accepting responsiblilty and they were cursed by sin, then with the period until the Flood, we don't actually know much about it aside from people growing worse, when it got to the point that God couldn't stand it anymore, he started over with Noah and his family, then it was the jews who became sinful and punished them wth slavery in Egypt and then sent Jesus as his final test
...for him. Eventually, he finds himself in the wrong company and gets put in jail for life (just for an example). Tell me, azsuperman01, has the parent failed? Or did the child fail to listen to the parents teachings?
@chickenman9119 The distinction you miss is that the parent is not an all-knowing all-powerful being. This god apparently made a bunch of beings with the ability to go with him or against him, and got upset whenever they made the choice he allowed them to make. What a capricious, narcissistic buffoon of a deity! He certainly is boastful and greedy if he expects a bunch of people he endowed with freewill to choose him over themselves every single time - if ever. He exemplifies all he despises.
God did not fail. Let's say you have a kid who is disobedient from the get-go and does not listen to a word you say. You surround him with positive, constructive role models and repeatedly bring him through counseling and therapy, because you love him more than anything and you want him to live a happy man and learn to love as you have loved. But negative influences keep getting to him and its this that he listens to. He rejects you, even though you have constantly reminded him of your love....
God didn't fail. Man did. God gave man freewill. They used that freewill to defy God. So the repeated failures documented in the Bible are not of God, but of man. God's power and Sovereignty can be seen through the failures of man because God still accomplished His purpose. Look at the story of David. David sinned many times, and so did his family, yet God still brought a Savior through David's line. God's glory will rise up through the sin and failures of man. That is what His word shows us.
Yet, by asking this question you seem to believe the Bible to be true. Because if you presuppose that everything is made up, you'd think that those who wrote it meant to make up a perfect God? So you're just questioning God because you hate God, not because you don't believe God exists. Your conduct proves the Bible. Rom 1:18, 8:7. Now to answer: The stories really tell of God successfully being merciful towards rebels. It was all God's plan that man would sin so He would show His grace, too.
In the beginning God created nothing according to you. our refuting a word you don't believe.God finally succeeded He created this guy let him live to better mankind with u tube videos. So we all can know what true use of time looks like. WHAT A GOD! God failed, but tough questions is a winner I'm so impressed that I think this man might be a god.But how do I get in touch with this almighty ego? U tube! what presence, what glory, what wisdom, wow I'm impressed give more O mighty tough questions
There is a difference between The One Elohim (YHWH) and the elohim (the gods).Any time God appears in a physical form (humanoid, like Christ) or the mention of God is accompanied by "Us" or "Our" etc. it is one of the elohim. In the philosophy of the time the new testament was written, you would use the same word to refer to God and the gods: Elohim in hebrew, Theos in greek. As a result we confuse the Creator God with the created gods. It is the created gods' failures (and man's) you reference.
a botched experiment. thinkgod left a long time ago. When i say god i mean the alien race who created usor nseeded this planet. or was it the yeti.. god knows...
Failure is a strong term to apply when referencing the Ancient of Days my friend. Remember that we're discussing a being that has an account of every hair on the head of mankind, or knows the exact number of molecules that comprise the universe. He also happened to create a concept in which we both do, and do not understand. God and Lucifer have a long history, perhaps billions of years in the making. All events led to the cross, which let me assure you, was the greatest victory for all mankind.
GOD's plan has progressed , as planned, continues , on his time table. He had a mision for Jonah. HE could have done what he was told right then, but took the scenic route...took longer. (WHAT DID he say to the fish: You can't keep a good man down.) regardless Jonah did whaT God wanted. THE plan of GOD is being fulfilled in sequence, just like the bible says it will, it is unfolding. Fight it, deny it, rebell,
see Israel? Miracle - prophecy. TESTAMENT GOD'S 100% success rate.
STUDY TO show thyself approved.....rightly dividing the word of truth.
you do err err. Not exactly Paul when festus said much learning did make him mad. GOD has not failed. His plan has not deviated one picometer, iota. Not failed once. MOVING RIGHT ALONG.: Man ONLY failed, sinned. Man rebelled, disobeyed always, the norm. DISOBEYED...WANDERED. SINNED, CAPTIVITY. burn the groves he said. Nope. punished.
I will be back in a minute he said.....built golden calves. ad nauseum
God doesn't fail. Humans fail. God charged specific people with specific duties. Many of them failed, then got up and tried again (Jonah). Some failed because of their lack of faith (Moses and his people not taking the land God had promised them because they were afraid). But these "failings" as you call them, are actually greater proof that God is in control because even after humans fail, even after they doubt, He still rises victorious from the grave three days later.
Sounds like WE fail, not really God. The best analogy I can think of is, would you feel better using cheat codes in a video game and winning without challenge or actually play the game and win. Same with a child. Would you rather chain them down and force them to obey every rule and love you, or let them love you and obey you by their own accord? If THEY fail to obey, it's not as much your fault, but theirs. And lessons you let them learn through failure make them stronger.
@mattrajczak How is not obeying a failure? Sometimes parents shouldn't be obeyed. What if an abusive father tells a daughter he's going to have sex with her and she needs to keep her mouth shut? Should that be obeyed? No. And I can give you a long list of the rapes ordered by your god in the bibles, so don't say that's not an apt analogy. If a parent tells you to kill people should you? No, yet again, this god of yours orders this A LOT in the bibles.
Superman, your question this time is not so easy to answer since it puts a presupposition before the question is even asked. I don not see the stories in the bible as failures of God but rather failures of man, so how can the question be answer according to your presupposition?
If you had a son, whom you loved and who loved you in return, comes home one day and says that he hates you and wants nothing to do with you, would you consider yourself a failure?
@kingkong8974 Re: if a man created a car that would not run, is it the failure of the car or of the man?
I want to answer over again. The man could be the failure as well as the car. The man could have built the car and made a mistake but the car could also have simply failed.
In either case, it is a not a good comparison because the car does not have a will of its own.
when our children mess up (because they have limited sovereignty and the ability to make bad choices) it DOESN'T always mean it is our fault as parents. they can corrupt our households with rebellion. four out of five children can be compliant - but ONE child can create turmoil. There are others who are making the point that humankind is the one who made the mistakes...NOT God. God's reaction to perfectly JUDGE mankind for our evil is NOT somehow His mistake.
Calling the Infinite Creator and Owner of the universe a so called "being" is going to be your first order of confusion. You can refer to the being of His Existence, BUT calling God "a being" gives you the connotation of "finite" being...who moves around.
Second, God makes NO mistakes. The anthropocentric and anthropomorphic examples in scripture regarding an omniscient Creator being "sorry" for something are written from the perspective of a prophets interpretation of God's emotional state
I wouldn't call those failures. I would call those variety of approaches. >Let's try this. Now that. I'm sick of this, let's drown it. Let's see what happens when I do this.< In order to measure success, one needs to define the goal. Maybe there is no plan or goal; maybe He's just playing around.
God doe s not fail..Love does not fail... man was created to eat of the tree ...no free will in the matter..It was the ONLY choice Adam and Eve could make given who they were as created by God.
You only left Christianity because you weren't strong enough to defend it, neither was your relationship with God strong. This is why you turned to Atheism; it's very easy to try and sound smart while defending idiocy. By the way, God has never failed. :)
@xxLovelyGarnetxx No, he's been disproved numerous times, although the burden of proof is on the believer. By your standard I can say the FSM is greater than your god and ate him all up, and since you can't prove that wrong it must be true :)
@humanistheart Well, really, I don't care what you say. No matter what you say, that's not going to make me stop believing in my powerful, true, and living God. Only a fool says in his heart that there is no God. But I only pray that God opens your eyes and that you quit believing all the lies this terrible world tells you. :) Good day.
@humanistheart I see you're getting annoyed, which means I must be doing something right. Glory to God, who is alive and well. :) I don't see why you continue to bash my beliefs, it is pointless. If you'd like to know more, please visit a church. They will help you tremendously. :)
@xxLovelyGarnetxx I see you couldn't meet the challenge and provide proof of your god. You claimed you had proof, but you couldn't list any. Which isn't surprising since your god doesn't' exist, so there can be no proof of him.
@humanistheart I find it heart breaking that you have a BS in Psychology and a minor in Religious Studies yet you choose to spend time trying tell a 16 year old what and what not to believe. It's like trying to take candy from a baby...hm, I like that analogy, considering my God is very sweet to me, like candy. :) If you would like answer, locate a Bible. It has all the answers you need. :)
I refuse to let your words get to me, for this is what happened to the man in this very video. :)
@xxLovelyGarnetxx I see, once again you cannot list any of the 'facts' you claimed existed in support of your fictional tyrant.
It sounds like in your analogy your calling yourself a baby. At any rate it would be more like taking poison away from a baby, because that's what christianity is, poison.
@humanistheart How atrocious is your heart? You may call my 'rant' whatever you please. Whatever helps you sleep at night. But of course I am a baby in God's eyes, because He is my Father, and yours too whether you believe it or not. :) God loves me, and He loves you too. If only you could see that your life would be so much easier instead of the bitterness you portray. It hurts my heart to see you ache this way and that you have to go about trying to take joy from young people over the internet
@xxLovelyGarnetxx Once again you refuse to provide the 'facts' you spoke of. You're words: "Christianity is based on facts " So where are these facts and where are their sources? Or do you think it's time to do the decent thing and admit you were just lying?
God loves you? He didn't seem to love the millions of people he slaughtered in the bible. He commits mass genocide, and infanticide, allows the raping of women, and slavery, and child abuse. Tell me, how does one rape a woman lovingly?
@xxLovelyGarnetxx And how does one kill innocent children, infants, and the unborn in a loving manner? What kind of home did you grow up in that you think raping women and slaughtering babies can be done lovingly? Oh right, a christian home.
@humanistheart I bet you've posed this question before, as someone has replied to you about it on your page. However, I don't see how someone being 'lovingly raped' has anything to do with what we're discussing. :)
You have really shown how mentally ill you truly, because really, I don't know where you're getting this whole rape thing from. At all. Enlighten me. :)
By the way, you're a hypocrite. Just thought you should know. :)
@xxLovelyGarnetxx "However, I don't see how someone being 'lovingly raped' has anything to do with what we're discussing"
""God loves me, and He loves you too. I"
You claim your fictional tyrant is loving, I asked how a loving being can commit mass genocide, or allow women to be raped, or kill infants and the unborn and you don't see a connection? WOW
Meanwhile, you claimed you had proof of your god, and then could provide non, and have just resorted to petty insults. Grow up kid.
@humanistheart You're telling me to grow up when you're a grown person telling a child who is not yours what to do? Hm, lets see who needs to do the growing up. :) Proof is in the Bible. The good Lord has give you a brain to comprehend and eyes to read with. Please use them. :)
@xxLovelyGarnetxx "child who is not yours what to do?" So you believe children are nothing but property. No wonder you don't see a problem with abusing them.
"Proof is in the Bible. " When you get off to college, assuming your smart enough to get in, you'll learn nothing in the bibles are actually true.
@humanistheart 'So you believe children are nothing but property.' You are so ignorant it's entertaining. I can only sit back and watch how you corrupt and confuse yourself by your own hands. I'm praying for you, so don't worry. :)
@xxLovelyGarnetxx You still seem to avoid the question. You said you have proof of your fictional tyrant, so where is it? Certainly not in the bible, as all it's contexts have been debunked. Assuming you're smart enough to get in, go to college, take some archeology or history class'. You'll find that the hebrews were never enslaved in egypt, that they never destroyed jericho, that herod never committed a mass infanticide and so on. So again, where is this proof kid?
@humanistheart I still don't how a grown man continues to tell a teenager to grow up, when reality I still am growing up. You can not rush things. Also, the answers to your questions are int he Bible. :) I'm also amazed at how immature you are with the whole 'grow up' thing. :/ I wonder what happened to you. :/ However I can only pray for your well being. :)
@xxLovelyGarnetxx Well then by all means, if you think the answer is in a collection of fiction, provide them. Supposedly you've read it, go ahead and give some of those answers.
@xxLovelyGarnetxx I see, once again, you've failed to provide any proof that this god is 'fact' which makes you a liar as you previously claimed there was. And you don't answer the question, how does one rape women lovingly? You said your god is love, so how does one commit mass genocide lovingly? How does on enslave other human beings lovingly? And for that matter, why would you be proud of annoying others? Because you are a bad person.
@xxLovelyGarnetxx And you keep claiming your 16. Maybe you are, maybe you're not, but if you are, here's a thought. Don't but into a grown up conversation than get butt hurt when the adults require you to articulate at their level. Either stay out of adult conversations, or don't bitch when you can't keep up.
@humanistheart Has a grown man resorted to child-like language? Adults are able to communicate their feelings without resorting to foul language, which leads ME to believe that you're the one who is 'butt-hurt.' I've kept a calm manner this entire time yet you resort to acting like that of a child who can't express how they feel properly. Hmmm. :) You're funny. God Bless. <3
@xxLovelyGarnetxx Claiming to know another emotions, ie saying I was getting annoyed, then saying you'd done your job, is not keeping a calm manner. It shows all you are doing here is hoping to annoy, a very dishonorable goal. And then, when you cannot show ANY proof of your claims you just cry and claim your a child so no one should correct you on your claims. Once again, grow up.
@humanistheart Well, really, I don't care what you say. No matter what you say, that's not going to make me stop believing in my powerful, true, and living God. Only a fool says in his heart that there is no God. But I only pray that God opens your eyes and that you quit believing all the lies this terrible world tells you. Good day.
Perfect beings in a perfect world failed by rebellion and received death. When you go fishing do you consider it failure when you catch more trash fish than good? You are pleased with the good and disgard the rest. Who said men were ignorant and couldn't read or write? Stone tablets tell a different story. The reason God changed the diets to all meats was to shorten the lifespan. Israel's diet was changed again to omit the things we now know cause premature death. God does not fail, we do.
wow this guy thinks he's the smartest man in history... what he thinks are God's failures, are merely HUMAN FAILURES. God gave us the free will to think, believe, and act as we choose. If we were all perfect robots, there would be no faith, and therefore no love for God. He knows we're not perfect, but he crafted us each as individuals, not as a group of people. Nice try though, azsuperman01! God bless!
=ZDrzNE2q2-c&feature=related I invite any christian or relegious person to watch this channel 4 doc in broadcasted in the uk to watch and justify this please How can you as a christian justify this documentary.
I don't...understand the point of this video...I mean, sure there are some radical, downright strange, Christians out there but...why post a series of videos trying to prove them wrong? I mean...what's the point? What good is it doing in anyones life?
@KadajusFunToy Occasionally some people of faith let a beam of reason into their minds, and this allows them to, eventually, come to live a good life without dellusions, based here in reality. That's what good it's doing. Also it gives hope to the oppressed minority that religion will one day loose it's power to run people's lives, to kill, to commit genocide, to prevent actual education, as so on.
God gave the humans a power to make their own choice. Many chose to live their own way, and some lived the way He wanted us to. God didnt fail because he gave us the ability to sin or live the way He wanted us to. But Christianity is a HUGE subject, ofcourse there will be questions and reasons to doubt. But then again theres plenty of reason to believe.
@Leisis1 "God gave the humans a power to make their own choice. " Uh, no, if you're talking about a biblical god that's impossible. See if this being was all knowing it would know everything it would ever do, and thus could never do anything but what it knows it will do which means it never makes an actual choice. Without choice it's not free will. And a will-less being couldn't very well create beings with something it doesn't have, free will, now could it?
You're getting confused. Those were all mistakes by man not God. God can direct and push us in the right direction but it is mans choice in the matter. God gives opportunity but man often fails.
@Thomas2488 I agree with Thomas2488. God did not fail. Period. Mankind failed. He gave us the freedom to choose what we wanted. Love Him who loves us, or choose the Satan. If God wanted mindless slaves to love Him, he wouldn't have given us free will. But He didnt. What man wants a wife that is only with him because she has to be? And vice versa? No one. Compare this to our relationship with God. He wants us to CHOOSE to love Him because WE want it.
@acat92405 "Love Him who loves us, or choose the Satan."
If people loved him the way 'he' loves us, than we'd hunt him down, persecute him for all he is, rape him, enslave him, than torture him to death, then upon death torture him more. That's some love.
"If God wanted mindless slaves to love Him, he wouldn't have given us free will. "
No, apparently your god wants slaves who love him. Bu
this question is a non-sequitur...they are not god's failures ..he intended for this to happen...it's the ultimate drama...i like to call it "The God Show"..--before and after the fall of man-- true history of a perfect being??..sure! why not, that's what faith is....the cool thing about it is ...it's not All of the history...only the history inside time--as we know it...do we really know all of the aspects of perfection??
God knew they were going to eat from the tree in the first place,he already had the blueprints. If they didnt eat from the tree of knowledge, they would have never learned, thus the rest of the plan for humanity fails. If there was no temptation to eat from it, there would have not been a choice to have been made, because they already were lacking the knowledge of evil, thus interfering with their free will.
God gave the gift of human intelligence to animal-man as a spark or lightning bolt. This is symbolized as the snake. Suddenly humanity recognized its separation from God (the duality of spirit and matter). this is symbolized by the expulsion (separation) from the Garden (the state of oneness w/ God in Nature). There was no real apple or disobedience. There was no original sin. Real power lies in the hands of those who write history and create the mythos upon which a society is based.
The Garden of Eden was not a real place. It was a state of consciousness. The story of Adam and Eve is allegorical. They are symbolic figures, not real individuals. They symbolize the 1st humans that rose above animal-man. The Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil symbolizes self awareness or the knowledge of the duality of spirit and matter. Eating the fruit of this tree (the apple) separates the time when humanity was animal in nature and one w/ Nature and God naturally....continue
God doesn't fail....man fails....seems you have difficulty in understanding that simple concept. Even a child know 'right and wrong'.
God stated He made 'man' in his image.....God gave man the ability to make choices, if not, God would have made 'robots'...that's what you're infering.
God's own Angels rebelled against Him, namely, Lucifer.
Noah was Righteous and his family, thus the Lord saved them by water. Every ohter man was Evil, thus destroyed.
@EvolutionLIE But god is supposedly omniscient, meaning that he would have to know all that was, all that is, and, most crucially, all that ever will be. The only way to know what will happen is if it is predetermined, and if you're god, then you must have written it down an infinite amount of time in advance. Thus, if he knows what will happen in infinite advance, there is no free will and therefore no sin or evil, since everything is god's will. And that idea, my friend, is patently absurd.
@EvolutionLIE But again, that doesn't speak to the inherent contradiction in saying that you have an omniscient god and free will. As I said, there is no logical way to truly know the future unless you yourself have written it out, since even getting it secondhand from someone else would allow for corruption of the data. If you wrote the story and know how everything turns out, then logically, there is no free will, especially since an omniscient being literally can't be wrong.
God gave people choice God was patient, He is holy and thats why he sent his own son to buy them back. People choose to leave it, once again what do you choose? Life or Death! Remember God doesnt have to save you but he has. And anyway how can you test Lord God Almighty when you dont even know the very first thing about the formation of the breath life!
Repent from your sins or you too will likewise perish, sont be decieved.
How was He glorified, then? Remember that we still have freedom to choose... Those who believe in Him regain perfection... Those who do not, they still maintain their essence of humanity and a silhouette of their lost perfection... Thus he made the impossible possible... He made a way for the flawed to be perfect at the same time... and it all comes back to Man's freedom of choice that fucked him up before... and voila!!! He is glorified all the more... Godblessyou
Failures? I wouldn't count them like that... they are just demonstrations of how fucked up and helpless man can be in whatever they do without Him... Man was perfect... WAS... but Man chose not to be... and because Man chose imperfection and sin, God had to show us very clearly that we are helpless without Him and then He came down and became a Man to save us from our very bad choice... it would seem that He failed but no, He was all the more glorified...
God's purpose is to create. In that, God has never failed. God ALLOWS evil (privation) to exist in his creation in order for a greater degree of goodness to be possible IN A FEW. The fact that humans are too foolish to know what is good for them even when they are told, is not failure on God's part. I think that you, I , and everyone else should have the balls to admit we are responsible for our state of affairs, from the beginning of time until now.
do you not understand freewill at all? if god wanted to control us completely then these failures wouldnt have happened. like seriouslly the are failures on our part not on his. peace :)
@soldier9718 If God is truly omnipotent, then he would've known the plan would fail -- and would have no reason to even attempt it. The fact he fails repeatedly makes his omniscience very doubtful.
@azsuperman01 You do not consider the fact that God could possibly be inherently omniscient. That is, the ability to know anything that one chooses to know and can be known. He would do this in order to limit his own omniscience and allow us imperfect beings to live with our free will and choice. So no, it does not make his omniscience any more doubtful. Creating human beings in His own appearance gave us an ideal life but as imperfect beings most of us reject it.
@azsuperman01 free will requires that we can fail or win. otherwise you just go threw life like a robot as you said. The difference here is that you can learn from all mistakes and are forgiven for your mistakes as god has given us grace. Otherwise, you have no experience to learn from and cannot build character. If you think that is wrong you don't know what free will is.
@azsuperman01 That's a weak comeback. Of course he knew what would happen, he let it happened. He didn't fail he let us fail. He could have intervened if he wanted to, but he let adam and eve have free will. I don't understand whats so hard to understand about that.
@onlyelisha I'm sorry but if my child repeatedly fails throughout life then I would take responsibility for being a poor parent. God does not do this. And god DOES intervene throughout the bible. But like azsuperman says, he doesn't give his children science, or philosophy, or art, instead he drowns them, makes them wander the desert & destroys their language. Is this how you would correct your own children? I got one word for your god...FAIL!
@azsuperman01 A good question answered many times before, it's been effectively answered for hundreds of years. I'm not an expert but let me throw my tupence in. If God was to WANT full control he could, but our existence would be extremely different. It is clear from scripture that God wanted to create beings similar in many ways to himself (not little gods though) by doing so it opens the possibility for a conflict of interests, which is exactly what we find.
@azsuperman01 You then suggest above that being all powerful and all knowing God would have seen His plan fail and changed it. You presume here that another plan would work, and that his plan failed. "is there a better way?" how can we know if we are in the best solution, since you have to contend with an opposing will, is this the optimal plan that brings the optimal number of people into a relationship with God? Could there be another way?
@daenumen a pure metal -your example is a bad one ... Again if God made us with the possibility to sin we are not perfect -he could of easily made it impossible for us to sin.. and still have 90%(or more) of our freewill.
You can't say we damn ourselves when we are created by an ALMIGHTY being he is ultimately responsible for everything-you say freewill but he is responsible for giving us freewill in which we can sin, HE is not us.
Why again would God will us to be able to sin? No reason!!
@handsomenerd12 this...life...is...a...trial....of those deserving to go to heaven, and those for hell.
its that simple. you choose if you want to go to heaven or not.
only being able to do good when its good by gods decision, does not show the worthy from the undeserving when it comes to purity of soul in the freedom of heaven.
you have twisted yourself up to sin, in order to 'deny sin' so that you could be 'perfect' as you imagine 'perfection', which the metal analogy was good to show
@daenumen I do not imagine me being perfect.. But if this life is a trial it must be so because of Adam and Eve eating the apple from the tree of life... or God is testing us for no reason and that shows he is not all loving...
@handsomenerd12 well regardless of what adam and eve did or didnt do...this life is still a trial of how deserving you are for heaven.
the existence, the sustainance and opertunity for bliss are more than enough to be loving...and in your media inspired expectations, dont forget he will destroy with perpetual torment those that disobey. he has no reason to love those that destroy the perfection he created them in.

I agree with voldmero these failures are not gods failures but mans. To have failed you must have a goal. Therefore if your goal is not complete and has no way of being completed then you have failed. But that is not so. To say god has failed you have to know what his goal is, and take into the acc that he gives us a choice. He may want us to do a certain thing that would work perfectly, but because of our free will we may not do as he asks of us and his plan be ruined because of us
madba11er1on1 4 months ago

Again, 500 Char is not enough 2 clear up all of your misconceptions, so I'll just show your premise, God fails, is false.
Here God is speaking 2 Abram, not Abraham.
Ge. 15:13 Then the LORD said to him, “Know for certain that your
descendants will be strangers in a country not their own, and
they will be enslaved and ill-treated four hundred years.
Ge. 15:14 But I will punish the nation they serve as slaves, and
afterwards they will come out with great possessions.

God is not a failure!
wasqe324 7 months ago
But people like you betray him and think everything he does is failure. For over thousands of years, people have been trying to kill off all Christians and burn or destroy every Bible on Earth. Till this day there are Christians and the Bible! Now you want to tell me God is a failure? God's people managed to survive through the harshest punishments for believing in him and they succeeded and Christianity is still a religion and always will be!
wasqe324 7 months ago

Too easy. GOD never failed, we did. we chose to listen to satan, we failed the ten commandments, etc. he never failed, we did. food, our schools etc, have nothing to do with god. The rules do, nothing material does.& he always gave us new chances. like a good father would.
& the jews of jesus time were not going by the commandments, they were going by their talmud. and jesus called them on every bit of it too. thats why they killed him, because he was threatening their righteous, but bogus life.

lol well i commend u for ur questions BUT
the first thing u should know about God is that he allows everyone the choice to live life as they please. he allows the sun to shine on everyone equally. he is not a slvae driver and he doesnt want man to be forced into worshipping him. Do u not think that God would have NOT created the tree of good and bad and not planted it in thee middle of eden then man would have never fallen. but he wanted to give man the choice. tbc
sweetdietqueen 10 months ago
@sweetdietqueen cont'd
what u consider as God's failure, I consider as man's failure. man failed the very first test in the garden of eden and they were casted into a world of pain and suffering. every scenario u mentioned was man begging God for redemption, and God providing a way out. israelites asked for freedom, God sent moses, aaron and eventually joshua. man wanted jjudges and kings. God never wanted a King for israel but the people begged for that so he granted them their wish tbc
sweetdietqueen 10 months ago 3
@sweetdietqueen anyway bottom line is that man disobeyed God, sinned against him, hated him etc but despite all man has done against him since the beginning of creation, he has never stopped loving man and trying to create a way for man to be delivered from the hands of the enemy and he's still doing that for us till today. I cannot imaginr loivng anyone for so long who has done nothin but hate me torture me and make my life miserable. i think God is wonderful and patient
sweetdietqueen 10 months ago 2
@sweetdietqueen I can't imagine anyone creating a torture chamber for their children, then setting up a system of laws in which those they are all born guilty... then creating an "enemy" who's entire purpose is to make life miserable and lead the children into the torture chamber.

sweetdietqueen 9 months ago
@sweetdietqueen If you consider God as less-than-all-powerful and less-than-all-knowing, then I can accept that it may be man's fault. God may be doing his best, but he is simply unable to forsee that humans will not behave as he predicted they would. If, however, you think God is all-knowing and all-powerful -- then it makes no sense. He knows in advance which plans will fail and which will succeed, and there is no reason for him to continue with plans that he knows in advance will fail.
azsuperman01 9 months ago
@azsuperman01 DUDE. ur so wrong about everything. God PUnished the jews for worshiping idols. he said so himself. he said also that they would be punished for "generations". but not all of them. Whats important 2 note about the above scriptures, is the fact that Abram had not yet had any children.
Ge. 16:1 Now Sarai, Abram’s wife, had borne him no children. But she
had an Egyptian maidservant named Hagar;
God actually told Abram in advance by many generations, exactly what would happen 2 his desendents enroute 2 them becoming his Chosen nation.
Space prevents details, but we all know, Abrams desendents did in fact end up slaves.
I'd call that Purpose.
Bepps100 6 months ago
@Bepps100 In the biblical fiction, of course we know as fact that the hebrews were never in egypt in mass, let alone in slavery. LOL.

@sweetdietqueen Apparently man had choice while still in the garden, otherwise they would not have "chosesn" to eat from the tree in the first place... unless you think eating from the tree was not a concious choice.
azsuperman01 9 months ago 3
@azsuperman01 - yes, man did have a choice, because he had to follow out of his own free will, not be a slave. Think about it, why would man's relationship with God be anything special, if it was simply the only thing man could do. It would be more like making man a robot in that sense.
The issue still is a hard question, because, again, why would God allow it ? and many questions root from that...
mrshaolinovice 9 months ago
@azsuperman01 I believe God is the most powerful person who we can imagine. I also believe that its not that he is infinite powerful! He too has restrictions. But your thinking on Jesus Crucifiction as God's failure doesn't make any sense coz that wasn't a failure that was a success. Thats how he saved the world. He is not someone who can think of something and make it happen all of a sudden. He is mighty powerful but that doesn't mean that he can do anything in any why at any time.

So many are claiming that "God" is perfect. But it is natural that nothing is perfect. Not deity, not humans and not animals. We are all flawed in some way. God tested Adam and Eve after they sinned they failed the test, Eve blamed the serpent and Adam blamed her rather than accepting responsiblilty and they were cursed by sin, then with the period until the Flood, we don't actually know much about it aside from people growing worse, when it got to the point that God couldn't stand it anymore, he started over with Noah and his family, then it was the jews who became sinful and punished them wth slavery in Egypt and then sent Jesus as his final test

chickenman9119 1 year ago

God fails at nothing He sets out to do.
SummerSunshine1988 1 year ago

TooferMan 1 year ago
There is a difference between The One Elohim (YHWH) and the elohim (the gods).Any time God appears in a physical form (humanoid, like Christ) or the mention of God is accompanied by "Us" or "Our" etc. it is one of the elohim. In the philosophy of the time the new testament was written, you would use the same word to refer to God and the gods: Elohim in hebrew, Theos in greek. As a result we confuse the Creator God with the created gods. It is the created gods' failures (and man's) you reference.

Masqueradia 1 year ago
Sounds like WE fail, not really God. The best analogy I can think of is, would you feel better using cheat codes in a video game and winning without challenge or actually play the game and win. Same with a child. Would you rather chain them down and force them to obey every rule and love you, or let them love you and obey you by their own accord? If THEY fail to obey, it's not as much your fault, but theirs. And lessons you let them learn through failure make them stronger.
mattrajczak 1 year ago
@mattrajczak How is not obeying a failure? Sometimes parents shouldn't be obeyed. What if an abusive father tells a daughter he's going to have sex with her and she needs to keep her mouth shut? Should that be obeyed? No. And I can give you a long list of the rapes ordered by your god in the bibles, so don't say that's not an apt analogy. If a parent tells you to kill people should you? No, yet again, this god of yours orders this A LOT in the bibles.
humanistheart 1 year ago
@mattrajczak I can tell you to obey me, and if you don't should I consider it a failing on your part? After all YOU failed to obey me, your superior.

I propose God did not fail, man did.

I would say the car had the failure since the car does not have a will of its own.

I want to answer over again. The man could be the failure as well as the car. The man could have built the car and made a mistake but the car could also have simply failed.
In either case, it is a not a good comparison because the car does not have a will of its own.
Still a good question.

when our children mess up (because they have limited sovereignty and the ability to make bad choices) it DOESN'T always mean it is our fault as parents. they can corrupt our households with rebellion. four out of five children can be compliant - but ONE child can create turmoil. There are others who are making the point that humankind is the one who made the mistakes...NOT God. God's reaction to perfectly JUDGE mankind for our evil is NOT somehow His mistake.
Breckmin 1 year ago
Calling the Infinite Creator and Owner of the universe a so called "being" is going to be your first order of confusion. You can refer to the being of His Existence, BUT calling God "a being" gives you the connotation of "finite" being...who moves around.
Second, God makes NO mistakes. The anthropocentric and anthropomorphic examples in scripture regarding an omniscient Creator being "sorry" for something are written from the perspective of a prophets interpretation of God's emotional state
Breckmin 1 year ago
I wouldn't call those failures. I would call those variety of approaches. >Let's try this. Now that. I'm sick of this, let's drown it. Let's see what happens when I do this.< In order to measure success, one needs to define the goal. Maybe there is no plan or goal; maybe He's just playing around.

@xxLovelyGarnetxx You still seem to avoid the question. You said you have proof of your fictional tyrant, so where is it? Certainly not in the bible, as all it's contexts have been debunked. And for that matter, why would you be proud of annoying others? Because you are a bad person.

humanistheart 1 year ago
@humanistheart Has a grown man resorted to child-like language? Adults are able to communicate their feelings without resorting to foul language, which leads ME to believe that you're the one who is 'butt-hurt.' Perfect beings in a perfect world failed by rebellion and received death. When you go fishing do you consider it failure when you catch more trash fish than good?

Leisis1 1 year ago
@Leisis1 "God gave the humans a power to make their own choice. " Uh, no, if you're talking about a biblical god that's impossible. See if this being was all knowing it would know everything it would ever do, and thus could never do anything but what it knows it will do which means it never makes an actual choice. Without choice it's not free will. And a will-less being couldn't very well create beings with something it doesn't have, free will, now could it?
humanistheart 1 year ago
You're getting confused. Those were all mistakes by man not God. God can direct and push us in the right direction but it is mans choice in the matter. God gives opportunity but man often fails.
Thomas2488 1 year ago 3
@Thomas2488 I agree with Thomas2488. God did not fail. Period. Mankind failed. He gave us the freedom to choose what we wanted. Love Him who loves us, or choose the Satan. If God wanted mindless slaves to love Him, he wouldn't have given us free will. But He didnt. What man wants a wife that is only with him because she has to be? And vice versa? No one. Compare this to our relationship with God. He wants us to CHOOSE to love Him because WE want it.

Real power lies in the hands of those who write history and create the mythos upon which a society is based.
jaredsehorn1 1 year ago

Repent and believe on Jesus
EvolutionLIE 1 year ago
@EvolutionLIE But god is supposedly omniscient, meaning that he would have to know all that was, all that is, and, most crucially, all that ever will be. The only way to know what will happen is if it is predetermined, and if you're god, then you must have written it down an infinite amount of time in advance. Thus, if he knows what will happen in infinite advance, there is no free will and therefore no sin or evil, since everything is god's will. And that idea, my friend, is patently absurd.
Bernstein1917 1 year ago
@Bernstein1917 ...unfortunately, your 'thoughts' on God/Jesus Christ are Wrong !
you're wrong predominantly because God did NOT Create Pre-programmed "Robots" as your lack of understanding would have us believe.
God created man in His image with the ability to choose Good and Evil.
Satan himself was an Angel in Heaven who Rebelled against his maker God.
So there you have Further Proof that God gave ALL His Creatures 'FREE WILL" to Choose to Serve/Obey Or Rebel !
'No Free will' LIE
EvolutionLIE 1 year ago
@EvolutionLIE But again, that doesn't speak to the inherent contradiction in saying that you have an omniscient god and free will. As I said, there is no logical way to truly know the future unless you yourself have written it out, since even getting it secondhand from someone else would allow for corruption of the data. If you wrote the story and know how everything turns out, then logically, there is no free will, especially since an omniscient being literally can't be wrong.

This wasn't a very tough question. Jesus conquered death at the cross and paid the ultimate price for our sins. That was his victory.
And God gave the people to all times the chance to choose his ways, but mankind is wicked and godhaters. So it's always mankinds fault all the way.
God did NOT decided to have kings. It was Israel who chose it. Read Samuels book chapter 8. (the WHOLE chapter) And check the context

Godblessyou
brentoykhan 1 year ago
Failures? I wouldn't count them like that... they are just demonstrations of how fucked up and helpless man can be in whatever they do without Him... Man was perfect... WAS... but Man chose not to be... and because Man chose imperfection and sin, God had to show us very clearly that we are helpless without Him and then He came down and became a Man to save us from our very bad choice... it would seem that He failed but no, He was all the more glorified...
brentoykhan 1 year ago

@azsuperman01 good point my friend. but then again who is really failing? are these failures or preparations? are these on our part or on his?
soldier9718 1 year ago
@azsuperman01 In the end it won't fail. His plan hasn't concluded.
chrisalsup19 1 year ago
@azsuperman01 You do not consider the fact that God could possibly be inherently omniscient. That is, the ability to know anything that one chooses to know and can be known. He would do this in order to limit his own omniscience and allow us imperfect beings to live with our free will and choice. So no, it does not make his omniscience any more doubtful. Creating human beings in His own appearance gave us an ideal life but as imperfect beings most of us reject it.
Anyway, my two cents are spent

@azsuperman01 free will requires that we can fail or win. otherwise you just go threw life like a robot as you said. The difference here is that you can learn from all mistakes and are forgiven for your mistakes as god has given us grace. Otherwise, you have no experience to learn from and cannot build character. If you think that is wrong you don't know what free will is.

@azsuperman01 That's a weak comeback. Of course he knew what would happen, he let it happened. He didn't fail he let us fail. He could have intervened if he wanted to, but he let adam and eve have free will. I don't understand whats so hard to understand about that.
onlyelisha 1 year ago

Could there be another way?
stephjh2006 1 year ago
@azsuperman01 im not sure if i can explain this to you.
this is both in relation to the concepts of freewill, perfection, trial, and the will of god, gods plan.
in heaven we are not on trial, neither will we be in hell. our freewill enabled us to sin, our ability to sin is only through the will of god.
all of gods creations are perfect.
a pure metal could be considered perfect...yet it would break in an jet rotor, so needs to be an alloy, impure but still perfect.
daenumen 1 year ago
@daenumen a pure metal -your example is a bad one ... Again if God made us with the possibility to sin we are not perfect -he could of easily made it impossible for us to sin.. and still have 90%(or more) of our freewill.
You can't say we damn ourselves when we are created by an ALMIGHTY being he is ultimately responsible for everything-you say freewill but he is responsible for giving us freewill in which we can sin, HE is not us.
Why again would God will us to be able to sin? No reason!!
handsomenerd12 1 year ago
@handsomenerd12 this...life...is...a...trial....of those deserving to go to heaven, and those for hell.
its that simple. you choose if you want to go to heaven or not.
only being able to do good when its good by gods decision, does not show the worthy from the undeserving when it comes to purity of soul in the freedom of heaven.
you have twisted yourself up to sin, in order to 'deny sin' so that you could be 'perfect' as you imagine 'perfection', which the metal analogy was good to show
daenumen 1 year ago
@daenumen I do not imagine me being perfect.. But if this life is a trial it must be so because of Adam and Eve eating the apple from the tree of life... or God is testing us for no reason and that shows he is not all loving...
Reply if you want...
handsomenerd12 1 year ago
@handsomenerd12 well regardless of what adam and eve did or didnt do...this life is still a trial of how deserving you are for heaven.
the existence, the sustainance and opertunity for bliss are more than enough to be loving...and in your media inspired expectations, dont forget he will destroy with perpetual torment those that disobey. he has no reason to love those that destroy the perfection he created them in.
