  • Which idiot scripted her to say "positive poles" and "negative poles"?

Last I heard, magnets had North and South poles.

  • who ever made this is f*cking genius

  • Wow. after watching this I feel subwoofers cost way to much than they actually are.

  • @froddoyo Most of the money goes to pay engineering and development of the speakers. In lower crappy brands and speakers yes, we usually pay a lot more than their cost.

  • did anyone say glue ?

  • check this out! DANGER DANGER

  • wich brand is that? it looks like my subwoofer and i want to know the specs

  • @ivanzegt TRansparence. No idea which models though.

  • Its all glue !

  • ahaha a reamer ^_^ ahahah glue and screw ^_^ ahaha spread glue on narrow end...

  • Are machines doing all this now?

  • @ModernThreads this is a higher end speaker, which are made by hand, but walmart speakers are machine made

  • At least two drivers? They never heard of a single driver speaker I guess. Otherwise, I like this.

  • Who knows the name of that song played in the end of the video

  • @Biesrokz those are just sound bites. not a song.

  • Fucking speakers, how do they work?!

  • Now I'll make one!

  • HOLY ShIT ONE BIG SPEAKER

  • And now you know, how its made....

  • SO, HOW DO THEY SOUND??

  • glue all the speakers.

  • i freezed without any blink and walah i made it. =D

i told my dad to buy me wat they said and did exactly i should do and vuala i made it

    it coasts like $851'793'936.50 :(

  • And then suddenly they used grounded amplifier that short circuited the coil.

  • they test these things with some skrillex

  • a ceramic ring made out of iron powder

  • I bet they test those speakers with dubstep.

  • @kuposrock not really they play different frequencies at the same power and see how loud it can play it but i test my speakers with dub :3

  • the bottom suspension isn't called suspension it's called a spyder

  • thats a big fucking speaker

  • @DATWEIRDGUY1

yeah i bet it emits nice bass i have one that sorta looks that size i got it from a club i was the manager of (they closed and i got to keep the speakers) they have real nice low freq sadly i can't use it cuz it generates to much vibration that can be felt outside my aptmnt home and they're only 60wat speakers. :)

  • was that a 15?

  • @seglermichael mor like a 20inch or 18 inch by how large the voice coil was in that persons hand

  • @biggdaddy2001 oo ok big some bitch lol

  • Haha, normally this show doesn't show what company makes these things but the sticker scene showed "Transparence" speakers :)

  • That's a big fucking speaker.

  • The voice sounds computerized. . .

  • She sounds like Microsoft Anna, Tony Hurst from the UK one sounds much better.

  • @superscotman Its coz this one is American, no feeling in the voice, just sounds like a machine

  • Six hundred volts of direct current? Watt?

  • Great video. Can anyone tell me what determines a speakers wattage?

  • Damn, its like 50% glue...whatever works I guess.

  • They lost me at 2:42 with (+ & -) vibrations. Can someone explain it using bees and flowers.

  • @Jcports1 Since the current that is fed to the electromagnet (coil) varies, it causes it to attract/repel the permanent magnet which is fixed, so the coil (electromagnet) is constantly changing position/vibrating, moving the speaker cone along with it (since they're glued together), creating sound.

  • so it's just magnets copper and, GLUE!

  • @superjoker6 And cardboard.

  • @superjoker6 Well it's not like you can fucking screw a speaker together is it?

  • @superjoker6 you forgot carboard XD

  • @superjoker6 and magnets

  • @superjoker6 and cardboard, plastic and metal

  • @ChrisVGuitarist and solder tin

  • @Engineer9736 hahaha

  • people bitching about the speackers voice ?

its easy to understand and clearly enunciated...

what else do you want ? drama and emotions ?

I think its pretty awsome someone eplained me under

5 minutes how a speaker is made.

I wish schools were that efficient.

  • @unamaxify its a fucking annoying voice

  • @unamaxify I'm pretty sure it's a similar show, with a mans voice, that is why this girl bothers me anyway

  • @unamaxify

    you mean explained to me

    fucking learn english

  • @unamaxify I had a speaker made in 1 minute. By hand.

It's not that hard, you stupid American.

  • @BlakjeKaas

first, i'm from Switzerland you moron

second: you made a professional good sounding speaker in one minute ?

-> you are either a liar, or you were just tinkering with a coil, a magnet, tape etc.

-> that's not really a speaker, or can you tell me the Thiele & Small Parameters of your speaker. Making noise from an alternating electrical signal is an acoustic source

    but not necessary a speaker.

  • watching this because of ernie halter, haha

  • But, Will it blend?

  • wtf kind of word is ad Hering you dumb bitch

  • V͇̿I͇̿P͇̿| Facebook Lautsprecherbau Community unter Lautsprecherbau ( Bild von Youtube und Facebook sind gleich ) ☺ Herzlich willkommen !☺

  • those were my speakers they were making

  • some speakers use pulses of direct current

  • at 1:05 she says together weird lol

  • she knows her stuff! however she didn't mention the cone's surround. but still!

  • someone know the bagground song? :)

  • Will it blend?

  • KATE ROLAND PHD

  • I have a questions about speakers, cant seem to find the answer anywhere....Does anyone know if its ok to play around with the bass and treble switches, like turning them up and down, wil this ruin my speakers or is it ok to do.

  • @TheHoffmanHouse It might ruin the sound but your speakers will be fine :)

  • @TheHoffmanHouse HA, yeah, you'll be fine!

  • This is actually exist!!! It's done people that for no reasons at all they pick-up on certain people and harass them 24-7 day night at sleep and what not- Most people that been "TARGETED-INDIVIDUAL" are people that they did nothing wrong to no one but - they abuser continue to abuse harass and stalk those individuals -Why? not-sure -(Russians-Italians-Israelis-originally used it on people)- I assume just because they didn't been liked or accepted in society or in the community!!!!!!!

  • No wonder they cost so much is all the glue they buy, or maybe is due to all the sticky fingers who work in there? Humm..

  • Super Glue!

  • @ianphil397 the guy always does it idk why a chick is doing it lol maybe he had a cold or something haha im watching it now and its a man

  • @ianphil397 Do you even have to swear?

  • @ianphil397 i know what you mean its like here in america we cant stand to hear that British accent it drives us nuts. its like dragging finger nails across a chalk board.

  • bad soldering

  • dumb bitch don't know what she saying at 3:11

  • @hannobisschoff1 she is talking about the voice coil vibrating continuously.... pretty simple to understand ... seems like YOU are the dumb bitch!

  • @screemingbison I don't want to argue with you, but I was referring to the specific description that the alternating current will at all times flow through the speaker at a rate of 7Hz. which is untrue (hence the "dumb bitch") the frequency range will vary! It WILL NOT STAY AT SEVEN HERTZ.

  • thts a lot of Glue...!! ur next video shuld b "how glue is made"

  • thumbs up if you were hoping for a massive sub but were dissapointed by the 1 inch voice coil

  • Awesome:)

  • If the movement of the cone creates sound waves that we hear as noise, how can it vibrate at multiple frequencies at the same time. That is to say,how can it produce sound that we hear as music when there is bass, symbols, high pitched guitar, vocals, etc all at the SAME TIME? How can the cone possibly vibrate at various frequencies to produce ALL THE SOUNDS SIMILTANEOUSLY?

  • @rcfirdy

It reproduces the signal as a mixture of the different frequencies. So a speaker reproduces a range of vibrations that was captured by a microphone diaphragm. They use 2 or more speakers in a cabinet to reproduce different speed vibrations (low/high pitch) clearly. So a single speaker cabinet has limits on it's frequency range. Your ear also picks up an approximation of the combined frequencies (vibrations) interacting when you hear musical instruments.

  • @rcfirdy Man, it reproduces only an electric signal, but that signal (imagine your favourite song) is a combination of various frequencies which are changing during the time the song lasts. Only a signal contains the sound of vocals, drums, etc at the same time.

    (sorry for my english)

  • fake.

  • @cvunit How is it fake lol

  • f&cking magnets, ¿how do they work?

  • in the firm where I work doing repairing one of those american types even the cone and the screws were glued to the box. Think about how painfully we unscarmble that damn thing.

  • thats a lot of glue!

  • tnx man :) so cool and interesting

  • This is a good show, I got alot done with it, nice to have a show you can use for projects :)

  • I like the male narrator better.

  • @terribleannoyance thank you

  • the narrator needs to go!

  • I find a woman assembling woofers to be incredibly sexy. Maybe it's just me.

  • To imagine that someone managed to invent something like this in the 1800's is more mind-blowing than I originally thought

  • I wonder how much Dubstep they play daily.

  • co za asy

  • I'm beginning to wonder if they built that magnetizing machine. The panel looks like something which came out of an IBM tape drive.

  • what is the background music please.

  • what is the background music please

  • Very interesting,good video!!! 

  • dude i can make a amp out of 5 items

  • science my ass, we found the raw materials, took long enough, wheres my spaceship to get off this crazy ass planet?

  • Dude, the narrator's voice is a guy's voice in how it's made

  • @TheMattMan2012 Where ?In europe?

  • @airforcemanigga No, I'm in the USA.

  • i think they need to use a little more glue..

  • Comment removed

  • u need to ask yourself this one question... how the fuck did someone manage to figure this all out?

  • @sdeary1 Science, bitches. It works!

  • how bout doing it all 2ice as fast so we will actually understand dick all.

  • Very nice speaker, obviously for professional sound apps, wonder what company made it?

  • Pretty helpful, but not very thorough. o_O What about the Surround? Even if it's one thing they miss out, it's a problem. Cause this is suppose to be for Educational purposes. If you don't have all the details, then what's the point. You'll be in shit.

  • Wow....Cool Video :D

  • i got a tweeter right here you wanna see ?

  • Probably the best series on tv

  • sorry.... what?..

  • Comment removed

  • interesting shit!

  • Gibt es sowas auch auf deutsch ??

  • 10 hours to put together. 1 minute to blow it.

  • cold solder joints !!!

  • Polish speakers are the best TONSIL

  • Glue and Screw!!! Yeah, that sounds nice...........LOL

  • @surfitlive

    yeah...Thats what she said :D :D

  • glue= speaker

  • That's one fat-ass speaker o.O

  • BUT WILL IT BLEND?? THAT IS THE QUESTION

  • @callumchandler YES, IT BLENDS. *long trumpet note*

  • @callumchandler but will it fit

  • @vorrap u fail!

  • @callumchandler Some loudspeakers cost as much as $2000 dollars a pair. Later, you take into account the amp that accompanies the system, as well as the speaker wires.

  • @MIKON8ERISBACK and i need to know this because>?

  • @MIKON8ERISBACK

Magico Ultmates cost US$229K a pair- and you have to wait two months for them after you place the order. They are quite possibly the most solidly made speakers in the world.

  • @douro20 Seriously? What justifies the price? Gargantuan size?

  • @MIKON8ERISBACK

I really don't know. I do know that all of the drivers are hand made by Magico and all of the aluminum extrusion is done in-house. They are not mass-produced by any means. The company has only a handful of employees.

  • @callumchandler Isn't there something more original in your head?

  • @integratable nope! in pretty drunk at this time so many some vodka is in my head :):):):)

  • @callumchandler will you blend??that is the question

  • @callumchandler but will poeple stop copeing comments to get thumbs up

  • haha. she said reamer.

  • im listening to this chick tell me how speakers are made while im using my speakers...wierd huh?

  • my mtx tr55 will kill those

  • @quakj My Fi BTL will kill those...

  • @lolley1100 im geting mtx ts55 now but my brothers soundstream xxx 18 will kill that fi 18

  • @quakj It's not an 18, I got a 12...The 12 is louder because it has the same motor, and it's eaiser to push...And I hate the soudstream...It is louder, but it is VERY distorted, and overrated...It clips at around 8000w rms, and their rated at 10,000w rms...That is HORRIBLE!!!...And at sicnik this year, someone had two, and he powered them with two kicker warhorse amps, and one blew...And YES, it was the correct ohm load...

  • @lolley1100 no way the 12 would b louder then the 18 !!!! n about the the xxx 18 tell that too exo

  • @quakj He has that it competitions. I'm subscribed 2 him. And the 18 is strictly for DEEP for lows, I wand a bigger range. the lows are just as loud, plus, I can get a higher bass range And in the right box, it WILL sound louder than the 18. Think of it, you have a bigger range of excursion do to the same size mag, plus, you have 19 in. cubed more surface area to push, and it will be harder to move, thus, making the 12 just as loud, if not, louder. I've been in the audio business for a long time

  • @lolley1100 u r so wrong the 18 has more surface area that means more air movement that means more bass. and what u mean the right box put the 18 n the rite box to its going to b louder n no its more excursion on the 18 still its no debating man fi 18 makes louder bass the fi 12.

  • @quakj Technically, no. The surround on the 12 is bigger, and the voice coil is taller. So it will give more excursion than the 18. The air you feel from for example, the driver's seat doesn't count. The amount of air being pushed out of the box is what matters. Even know that the 18 has more surface area on the cone, it still has a longer range of excursion, and since the 12 requires a smaller box, it will push about the same amount of air out of the box. The smaller sub will be easier 2 push.

  • @lolley1100 how bout u answer this do u wether have your fi btl 12 or a new fi btl 18. dont lie

  • @quakj I'd rather the 15, actually, it will have a better match, it is between the factors I like with the 12, with some deeper lows, without totally giving up on the higher frequencies, but I would still go with the 12 rather than the 15.

  • @quakj I ment the 12 rather than the 18...

  • @quakj Obviously your obsessed with car audio, because every single vid u watched deals with subs...All those vids, and you still haven't learned about the difference in the size of a sub...Take it from someone who actually works at a shop, and drop it...

  • @lolley1100 hay u started it

  • @lolley1100 so if steve had 4 12s he would b so much louder n hit all the rite notes ok i get it.................... sike dumb ass

  • @quakj Eeh, I will agree with you on that one, but ONLY because he plays songs with super low frequencies that will not be picked up on the smaller sub...Then again, they don't make an AA SMD subwoofers in 12's, only in 15's and 18's. And, if you do a little research, the owners of the 15's says the bass response and volume limit is comparable to the 18...I'm done arguing with you because you OBVIOUSLY have absolutely NO clue what your talking about.

  • @lolley1100 ok smart

  • @quakj SHUT THE FUCK UP

  • @lolley1100 will you too SHUT THE FUCK UP ANC COMMENT ON VIDEO GOSH

  • @nysoni Fredom of the speech is a right...

  • @nysoni who the fuck is uuuuuuuuuuu

  • my mx tr55 will kill those

  • this just seems like an inefficient way to make speakers, not the how theyre made but what theyre made of. seems like there would be better way
