@TexasMason2 I'm SO glad! :D Gotta admit, the influence movies can have is awesome. I know the purists were being really nit-picky about it, but thankfully I was never a purist, Tintinologist, Tintinophile, whatever they call them. Just really enjoyed the comics as a kid, nearly forgot about them, then the trailer for this movie comes out with Spielberg and Jackson's names attached (among other names of course), and I almost faint in my chair. Can't wait for the sequel!
@HerzyStudios Yay! :D I was hoping that's what this movie would do. So glad you're getting the chance to experience it! It's a huge part of a lot of childhoods around the world.
The advertisements are getting good. :) I'm hoping more and more North Americans (particularly Americans; I don't think their European culture is nearly as strong as in Canada) are getting warmed up to Tintin. I know the movie's already doing fantastic elsewhere, but I want it to be successful all around so that we can lock in a sequel.
Side note: If Barnaby worked for the Bird brothers originally, what's his role in this movie if the Bird brothers aren't in it? Hmm.. I'm rather curious now.
HerzyStudios Same here! I've even went as far as to draw them. Everything about Tintin has the capacity to become addicting, I swear...
