  • Being of a non Christian Animist faith and having read only his Red Letter Words, here in my 29th year, and he may have been a great teacher a advanced soul.

Little good he did in the long haul though for Christians, seems to me the lions share live more up to your descriptions of the personage of Satan then to his influence.

Your religions institutions and followers bare me witness of 2000 years of your religions practice with a overall lack of humanity or even basic decency such a shame

  • Wow! How sad that so many ppl are blind. Jesus died for our sins, he is one. God, jesus and the holy spirit. I just pray that people will open their eyes and have faith in God almight, the creator of everything.

  • Jesus "is" a rabbi/zombie who was also his own father who got his mother pregnant with himself. Later he had himself killed for three days even though he was innocent so everyone else wouldn't be responsible for their ancestors eating fruit from a forbidden tree. As long as they telepathically communicate with zombie Jesus, say they're sorry and become friends they will be instantly promised to live forever singing his praises in a supernatural fantasy land.

  • I really worry for those who deny Jesus ever living. There are more artifacts and sources of Jesus's life than Aristotle and Socrates and yet we don't question whether they were alive or not... It's just crazy how we we as Christians need to step up and just let people know that yes God walked this earth, lived a sinless life and died for your sins. It makes me so upset and is the motivation to share the good news; the reality.

  • who is Jesus bible verses:

Jesus HIMSELF said that he is a Prophet in (Luke 19:24, Matthew 13:57).

The Believers of Jesus themselves said that Jesus is a Prophet in Matthew 21:10-11.

John 8:58 Jesus was the foretold Messiah and the greatest and final Jewish Prophet.

  • More proof of existence of Jesus OUTSIDE the bible than there is for Socrates. Even ATHEIST History professors concede JESUS DEFINITELY lived.

Jesus was the BIGGEST kick-ass revolutionary ANTI--banker in history!

Which is why bank-owned Zeitgeist is trying to re-write history to exclude Jesus & His anti-coruption message

Jesus made such big splash & pissed off corrupt churches, govts banks - that they killed Him!

    NOTHING's changed!

My own experience tells me Jesus LIVES & is LOVE of God

  • What's really worrying here is that most of these people don't even know what Jesus Christ was as a historical person. Come on, he is the most influencial person in HISTORY and you know nothing about him?

    Let alone believe him....

  • Jesus Christ super fraud .

  • Should be -- Who was Jesus?

Thoughtful atheists see through these arrogant and presumptuous attempts to smuggle in unproven assertions.

  • Nonexistent

  • mayber01,the sun is not GOD.

read ezekiel before you say ignorant things

that you have no clue about.instead of running your mouth..like a know it all!

  • the girl at 1:46 got it right.

for me.yeshua IS my Lord and saviour!

    he IS GOD almighty.

he is the visible image of GOD.

    see because GOD is spirit.

and the spirit of GOD was on him.

    so yeah,HE IS GOD.

shame on those who claim him to be nothing!

  • wow..some of these people are very confused

  • That's the problem in this entire world! Most people don't know Jesus Christ. Christians needs to preach the gospel everywhere. Those people need to repent of their sins. Somebody needs to tell them all about Jesus and who, why, where, and how He came to be in this world at one time. :( I do agree with bleunpnk. It makes me sad too! :(

  • @LizzielovesJC well....lizzie........find a boyfriend....science has proven that a mans penus can work wonders for the needy ones...

  • @sweeney665 I have a boyfriend!!!! And my sex life is no good at all, therefore i don't really care to have anybody in my life other than Jesus Christ!!! And when i get the chance, i will leave him!!! And you need Jesus as well my dear! God bless! Everybody has a right to their own opinion!!! You didn't

have to go there!!! I pray you find Jesus yourself, because you need Him because of your filthy mouth!!! If you don't have nothing nice to say at all, don't say anything.

    God bless!

  • @LizzielovesJC well then off to your quest for a more satisfying one, when you do find who can actually pay enough attention to you during the sacred act of reproducing try noticing the positive effects on you and don't regard boyfriends as a plague.as for my filthy mouth it is filthy to your ears only because you turn your attention to the superficiality of my words, like every other christian.and just like every other christian you despise criticism.

  • @LizzielovesJC and keep in mind that you are already worship a man's figure, yes i am talking about jc,therefore you have in your mind the picture of your whole substance giving into someone as iconic as jesus.hence your problem is that you already devote most of your time believing that something like him may exist in your humanly cracked and imperfect world, just like young girls do with rockstars..I love you lizzy, don't take it the wrong way :)

  • @sweeney665 Look!! You started this whole thing! I don't worship a "mans figure" according to you, the way you say it like i'm interested in sex with Jc. You are one crazy person. I worship Jesus, because i love Him and He died for me on the cross. My sins murdered Him! God gave me the being to move, and breath to breathe, and He also gave up His Son, Jesus for me. I love you too, "in Christ". Not the way you think! We are all suppose to love each other!

God bless! You still need Jesus. :)

  • "Are you the messiah, The living son, of GOD?" "I AM" , And you will see the son of man sitting at the right hand of the power of God"

  • sooo sad... soo soo sad... Jesus Christ is the God who created your mouth to speak! and to claim he is dead or a carpenter, this means hell is happy and I am sad to say that many people will be in hell because of this if they stay the same way as they are right now... My Jesus set me free from demonic forces and healed my wounds, I am proud to call upon his name everywhere because he is everything to me! They have mind to think... they invent things, they surely have!

  • @JesusIsTheLord1602 people are saying that based on what they were told, not on what they saw.

  • @JesusIsTheLord1602 get laid....

  • Jesus is the sun. A sun-god made into a mythological man. If you are dumb enough others will tell you that Jesus was the son of God. If you are really, really dumb, then you will believe this lie and give the liars your hard earned money. A man with faith will find on Monday that he has less money than he did on Sunday.

  • @Maber01 get a girlfriend...a real one...

  • WOW!! I know jesus personaly He is the one who took me up out of the gutter he is the one who brushed me off and gave me faith not only in myself but also in others Jesus showed me that faith the size of a mustard seed i can move mountains jesus is my rock my strong tower he is more than history he is an ever growing wonder in the lifes of many he is the one who guids churches to raise money for the needy to dedicate countles hours and dollars to serve. we should all try to be more like jesus.

  • @EthanShires leave opium for a while....try something lighter..

  • @sweeney665 1 later ago allot of coffee and late nighters a few sam harris books a little bit of richerd dawkins and the Holy Bible under my belt. Im laughing at myself right now, and just now realized how funny that is

  • "The Reason For God" by Tim Keller.

For anyone interested, there is a wonderfully written book which deals with the questions raised against and by Christianity. The author is a Christian pastor but he deals with the major problems facing Christianity from an intellectual and philosophical stand point. Challenging read. God bless.

  • JC, if he lived at all, was one hell of a Bull Shit Artist!

  • what i don't get is that jesus is suppose to care when we pray to have a good job or so while thousands of starving people in africa die each day without care.

  • he's not a dead men ! .. .

  • JESUS IS LORD whether we except it or not

  • Be serious. Look, there is absolutely nothing wrong with people believing in such a figure if thats what it takes for them to live a happy, and fulfilling life. But personally i dont believe one word of the "Bible". Its just a compilation of stories and beliefs that over time, have picked up an enormous following. I must admit though, he is undeniably the most dominant figure the world has and will ever know. Fiction or not.

  • If I were to put my money on any of these, it would have to be number 1. Does anyone else agree? If not, do not even bother posting a comment. :)

  • The possibilities for Jesus:

1.) Jesus existed & was everything Christians claim him to have been.

2.) Jesus existed & was nothing like Christians claim him to have been.

3.) Jesus never existed, and like Zeus, Hercules, & Thor, was simply a mythological figure.

4.) The Jesus figure was based on several people who actually existed.

The LEAST likely possibility is number 1. You might want to put your money on number 3 due to the lack of any historical evidence.

  • There is soooo much historical evidence that point to Jesus being a real human being, who lived on this earth.

Not only that, but there is historical evidence that backs up everything in the Bible. All His teachings and miracles.

Go read The Case for Christ! It'll open your eyes to the fact that everything point to the truth of Christ!!

  • Actually, no there is very little evidence for Jesus outside of the bible. Josephus did 2 passages, w/ one being agreed upon as a result of Christian tampering. Josephus was born circa 4 years after Jesus would have died. There were three historians that I know of that lived at the time Jesus would have and they never mention him. One, Philo, lived in the area Jesus was said to have lived and documented all kinds of Jewsish events. (continued)...

  • (continued) Most of the sources Christians used to prove Jesus existed do no such thing. Somebody writing in 150AD about Jesus or Christians of the time does not prove that Jesus existed as Jesus would have died in 33AD. Instead, all it proves is that Christains existed then and that they believed Jesus was real.

With regards to the bible. Some of what is in the bible, w/ regards to history is correct. Some is incorrect. Absolutely none of the miracles have been proven.

  • (continued) "Case for Christ"? -Is that by Lee Strobel? If so, then I would recommend a 4-part YouTube sereies called "Strobel Under Fire". Strobel seems to be ignorant on the fact that much of the bible is proven incorrect. -And I mean just that. The bible is plain wrong in many passages, but your religious leaders won't let you know because it casts the religion in a bad light. -Plus they claim the bible is perfect, so how could it possibly contain the errors that it does? LOL

  • So all you are going to do is assert your opinion as fact and leave at that? Yo don't think that christians should take the bible at face value but we are supposed to take your opinion, and that's what it is, at face value? Doesn't that seem somewhat hypocritical?

  • swingman24: But you don't take it at face value. Atheists know you don't, because when errors in the bible are pointed out, Theists calim, "Well, some parts aren't meant to be taken literally.", hence not at face value.

There's not enough evidence to state conclusively if Jesus existed or not, but the one thing that stands out is that believers don't want a real Jesus. They want a mythical figure. They want the white, blue-eyed, male-model magic man who is your personal invisible friend.

  • "There's not enough evidence to state conclusively if Jesus existed or not"

There isn't? How is that? Then you know what, I don't believe that there is enough evidence that Alexander the Great existed or Julius Ceaser.

  • That same tired tripe about Alexander the Great and Julius Ceaser again...

  • Again?

Don't you put out the same tired tripe about Jesus Christ? I mean really, what's the difference of you saying the same old recycled ideas and theories about Jesus and christians bringing up others like Alexander and Ceaser? Even though christians don't use Alexander and Ceaser as examples for the most part and yet in your comment you act as if that's all christians talk about.

  • @ swingman24: When I was a believer I realized that the Jesus people believed in didn't reflect the real man, assuming he existed. When I became an Atheist I began to realize that the Jesus people believed in was a mythical figure. Jesus may or may not existed as a real man, but It's pretty clear that people want a mythical Jesus. Only a mythical figure can be everything you want them to be.

  • That in part is true. Jesus, if He was just a man, wouldn't be what people need or want but that's the great thing, He is not just a man, He is also God.

And with all due respect, I have said this many times to many other people, no one at one time was a believer (christian) and then stopped being a believer. If you ever were truly a christian you would have remained one to this day. The Bible says as much. Though I know that you do not believe the Bible so that may mean nothing to you.

  • @ swingman24:

I was raised Southern Baptist (Evangelica/Fundamentalist). I was taught that dinosaurs lived with man, that it didn't rain until the Noah's Flood, and that the earth is 6,000 years old. One time they brought this woman into our Sunday School class who claimed to be a Satanic Abuse Survivor. She claims she was made to have babies w/ her father and then sacrifice them herself.

I'm so glad I embraced science and left this cult behind.

  • "the one thing that stands out is that believers don't want a real Jesus. They want a mythical figure. They want the white, blue-eyed"

What christians don't want a "real Jesus"? The Jesus that you consider mythical is the Jesus described in the bible. There is no other Jesus that true christians believe in other than the biblical Jesus.

And I do not believe that Jesus had blue eyes or was white. He was a 1st century Jewish man and probably had brown eyes.

  • Yes, Christians don't want a real Jesus. They want a Jesus they create in their own image, one in which cannot be distinguished from an imaginary friend.

  • Christians have not created any Jesus from their imagination. That is what has been done by atheists, agnostics, secularists, and liberal scholars.

  • By the way, if christians didn't want a "real" Jesus then we wouldn't be christians because anything and anyone else would be futile.

  • Very well reasoned analysis.

  • that is so sad! our country is so lost!

  • Wow........This makes me sad. :( But as for me, Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior!

  • @bleunpnk

I agree this make me really sad

  • @bleunpnk Amen

  • @bleunpnk Yes, definitely. I think the most hopeful answer came from the girl at 3:11.

But the really worrying thing is that not even the older people seem to know a lot about Jesus. The man who appeared before the last girl thinks Jesus Christ never even EXISTED? He might as well say Shakespeare never did either.

  • @bleunpnk I know right? I definitely believe and look forward to Heaven!!

  • Jesus Christ is the way and the truth and the life, He is the one and only son of God, crucified for our sins and raised to life on the 3rd day. There is no way to the father except through Him. Seek truth through all these lies, if you have doubt I beg you that you earnestly ask God to reveal himself to you if He exists - believe me, He will.

  • Mmmm, yeah...I think god might have put you here to test my faith.

  • what planet are these people on

  • My lord and savior!!!!!!

    God bless everybody!

  • -check out the God Code..-

    watch?v=bX_UjfxPIuU

  • my Lord and my God

  • WOW, not one person said Jesus was their Savior? Thats surprising..

  • Jesus is fiction

  • Its kinda sad how Jesus says that before he returns everyone will be introduced to me in on way or another & thoes non-believers missed their chance.:(

    god bless them.

  • Looks as though the atheist's are growing in numbers.

  • At the name of Jesus..." This comes at the end of an ancient hymn taken from, or included in, Philippians 2...

Phil 2:9 Therefore, God elevated him to the place of highest honor and gave him the name above all other names, 10 that at the name of Jesus EVERY KNEE should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord even the ones that pierced him will bow before him and will see him. , To the glory of God the Father smile

  • Every time I hear that some one doesn't believe in Christ my heart breaks a little. It's just so sad and tragic that people can't accept whats been proven. But I guess until they have a spiritual moment that makes you relies that there is more to this world than what is just explained to you threw media and text books.

  • more importantly... what do you think Jesus would have us do? i think that this question takes a slightly different tone and emphasis from "what would Jesus Do"? if we believe the church to be the body and bride of Christ, then we better be sure that we're doing as christ would have us do. rightness of mind is important, but how are we exercising grace? how are we exercising compassion? are these not central to who we believe Christ to be?

  • emi3race

very thouthful comment. But,if you consider how Jesus is and how he treated others specialy those who rejected him, would not you be moved and treat others the way He does it? I believe that the more you see and admire Jesus, the more you become like Him."But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the LORD".(2 Cor.3:18) God bless you

  • maybe...

my heart breaks to know that our belonging to Christ is judged by the fruits of the spirit.

it is incredibly hard not to judge... and I recognize that we each have our sense of calling in how we feel God calls us to witness in the world... yet still... shouldn't we witness with with our actions rather than our rhetoric?

  • emi3race

I do not think there is nothing wrong in the use of rhetoric(as the ability to use language effectively) or actions(deeds). What is more important to me is the motivation and it is so true when you say that it is incredible hard for us not to judge.Rhetoric without actions is nothing but many actions without a Christ like motivation could be very very anti Gods like character.God bless you and keep the good work

  • this is just a reality check for Christians to get out there and reach our brothers and sisters. clearly a lot of people don't know about much about Jesus and a lot just think he was some guy. He's not just some guy, he is the Guy. Gotta get out there man, gotta spread the word

  • Those without belief are the most pitiful creatures.. They live for nothing but them selves which makes them virmin.

  • well i do have belief, just not in imaginary stuff. it would be nice though if christians believed in a merciful god.

  • Look up biblical prophesei it says people are going to become athiest,non-believers,and loose there ability to even love in the end times.puffed up in their own understanding of things.

  • i know but it also says trees talk, snakes talk, jesus doesnt know his return date, yet also told a crowd he'd return before they died. Those prophesies are general b/c the world has always seen wars.

  • Prophsei is coming true, and it is only going to get worse, before it gets better.

  • no, priceless nothing is coming to pass. it has always been that way.

  • You are very right. I think that we are seeing bible prophsei happing before our eyes dont be fooled this economic down turn will lead to a one world government and all unbelievers will meet the antichrist

  • From the comments I have read, I just want to say to those in doubt - this video was not made to bring about hate mongering, or demean anyone. Knowing how Todd preaches (I could be wrong), it was probably made as inspiration to current believers of the Gospel to help spread the Gospel more so, as it is our Christian duty. As for referring to these people as fools, we should be doing our best to help them - if even only saying a prayer for them at the least - rather than pass judgment.

  • shows how important witnessing is. share the gospel people!

  • Why not check out the series misterworm? Anything presented will be founded upon the book you speak of . . . the Holy Bible :)

  • Oh please tell us, O wise and powerful McLean Bible Church.

I can only see this devolving into a hate-mongering and preaching of intolerance.

Do you really want to know who Jesus Christ is? Crack open the Holy Bible and read the four gospels. That will give you a fairly clear understanding on who the Savior is.

  • I'm glad to see that so many people are finally coming forward, and fearlessly representing their beliefs. Especially in a town like D.C. where humanity's earthly interest should always take precedence over intangible mysticism.

  • I'm glad to see that so many people are finally coming forward and fearlessly representing their beliefs. Especially in a town like D.C. where humanity's earthly interest should always take precedence over intangible mysticism.

  • this is really really sad

  • What Fools.. infidel fools

  • Is it being filmed or presented at this church?
