i have these pick-ups in a 1990 les paul custom they sound really good to my ears a very smooth full distorion miles above emgs i had a 81 and 85 set-up they are very sterile and flat

great playing and great sound with the Suhr pups .. another great set of pup's are the Rebel Yell by BareNuckle.. i'm sure they would sound great also on your system your using ..

Hey Mark, Sweet tone! I have an EC-1000T that I yanked the EMG's out of "Not an active pup guy" and replaced with Suhr Aldrich pups as well. My question is what EMG control are you using, the SPC or EXG?

Truly magnificent tone. Thick, rich, bright, warm and brutal. One of the best OD tones I've ever heard. Wish I could replicate it on the Axe Ultra. I can't, not even close.

Hi Mark. Watched all your videos with interest. A straight question. Can you truly replicate the sound on this vid (the CU, a true, fab, valve sound) with an Axe Ultra and SS power amp with tweaking? I'm sorry to say, (no offence intended), but this tone is true valve and the tone on your other videos with the Axe + Art simply aren't, to my ear, they sound artificial and digital. Respect.
