i am really shocked that a place so closely associated with the king would be treated with such disrespect and neglect. i'm glad it's still standing, but please, somebody save this place!
i think i read it was also a flower shop at one point it,s disgcusting letting it get to that the presley,s should act do they still own that land ? they did put mobile homes on it when elvis was living there as all the memphis mafia couldn,t fit in it,s in priscilla book elvis&me really good book.

I lived next door in the late 60s. I was told that his family stayed IN the house & actually Elvis & Pris had a Trailor(Mobile Home ) out back,near the BBQ pit area. I do remember seeing that trailor there when our school bus stopped every morning to pick up his cousin(Diane I think was her name>?)on the way to Horn Lake Elementry.
Was her name Deborah instead of Diane? I agree with the rest of the posters, why the hell couldn't Priscilla restore these memorable places for the Elvis fans? You would think as the place she spent part of her honeymoon and maybe the place Lisa was conceived she would want to do so, proves yet again who she is.

Would be so nice if someone could buy it and get it back to what it was when Elvis owned it and had so many good times there with family and his friends. Would be nice for all the fans. I agree the Ex Mrs. Presley should have bought it and restored it for the fans, after all more money for the Presleys ya know.
