I did that a few times when I had bangs during a 10 year span. But mostly I just re-wet them not shampoo them. Now I grew them out.

I now wash the last 12" of hair between shampoos with conditioner and water. I can do it with my 5ft long hair, lol.

I suggest you brush your hair a bit more carefully and hold the dryer further away :-)

I can't get my hair to grow long. Iget irritated with it and cut it off. I think that it is because I have had short hair for so long. lol

Interesting idea! In high school, we all would use baby powder! Sprinkle it around and then work it through...then brush. :-) Being that I had dark hair...I had to brush a LOT to get it out of there...but it worked...:-)

You know what a fuss it it to keep long hair. This really is cool be sure and give it a try. I never did try powder/corn starch. I had always heard it worked

Makes perfect sense... the bangs and top front side of the head gets really oily... why wash the whole head and damage the rest of the hair from too many washings? Yep. Greatest idea I've heard in ages! Love it. thanks : )

Yep that works great, I just wet the first and comb it back and let it air dry.
