@joshdaugherty1111 Legalizing weed and taxing it would be a tiny drop in the bucket in terms of tax revenue. You would add a few $billion in new tax revenue. It would help but if you think it would solve all our problems ... You need to stop smoking weed immediately.
@CertifiedGooner729 You are correct but it's not going to solve our debt problem. Thinking it will is ignorant at best. I'm all for legalizing marijuana and their is no doubt new tax revenue of any kind would be welcome right now. My first comment was to some one who said legalizing marijuana would end our recession.
@tr28901 I don't smoke weed. But if it was legalized, taxed, and sold, it'd bring in TRILLIONS. Question is why is it illegal in the first place? Tobacco and Alcohol kill people every day, weed has yet to be the cause of death to anyone. Also, I sense your ending remark means you think weed makes you stupid, which is also another stereotype proven to be false.
@joshdaugherty1111 Here is a comparison for you, i actually looked this up before i replied to you earlier... I was curious. All the tax revenue generated from alcohol is slightly more then $5 billion per year. If we legalize Marijuana it would bring in roughly the same amount as alcohol. A lot of money yes but not nearly enough fix our economic problems.
The internet propaganda against the US reminds me of how the Nazis gained power in Weimar Germany, working within the system to destroy the system. The US has free elections, though, so there is no reason to be for revolution unless you are against democracy, just as the Nazis were. But, so far as I can tell, there is no "Nazi" party in the USA behind this propaganda. The Nazis built a structure prior to gaining power which would replace the government. Lacking such a party today in the US...
@eBe4IXcept ...supports my belief that the main idea is not to take over the government but simply to destroy it, and that would serve foreign interests, not domestic ones.

So much for entrepreneurs...they are more likely to be named cockroaches of society en culotte courte (meaning: with NO scruples for other people's feet)
It's because the government cannot stop spending, because the people who control spending are being bribed to spend more and more. The military industrial complex drains the government of hard earned tax dollars, and they use this money they get from the government to bribe people in the government. It's a vicious cycle that will drive this government into the ground.
@TheRetiredtrucker Republicans started two wars, decreased our tax revenues, and started the whole debt ceiling battle which scared the hell out of those who lend us money.
@Wintermute01001 And under the Democrats, a war in Libya, Yemen, Pakistan have been started - 3 wars. Under the Democrats, tax revenues also decreased and the whole debt ceiling battle also benefited certain Democrats for political posturing. Democrats = Republicans and Republicans = Democrats. Don't be a fool.
@Wintermute01001 Well the Clintons put pressure on the banks to give mortgages to the as they called them "underrepresented" people ( NY Times article Sept 30/99 "Fanny Mae Eases Credit To Aid Mortgage Lending") Had the Clintons not pressed them to guarantee these crappy loans, there would have been no sub prime debacle and no crash. lot of blame to spread around... as to the wars...Obama is bombing 4 more countries....and threatening Syria and North Korea
@TheRetiredtrucker And had not "investors" inflated housing prices by artificially creating demand for the purpose of milking the poorer, Clinton's "underrepresented" people would have been able to buy houses without government guarantees.
@eBe4IXcept and what was wrong with that? Buy a property, fix it up and sell for profit, absolutely nothing wrong with that at all. Or do you think the government should provide housing to all the people free of charge? Tried that in Commie Russia....didnt work so well did it? When you have people buying a house with 0 down, there is a problem. See they live there without any commitment to the property , things go bad they just leave. Its why real mortgages want 10% or more for down payment

@eBe4IXcept Regardless of whether the Chinese are somehow behind "this internet push" to undermine Americans' support for their own government, Amercians would've slowly cease to support their own government anyway due to the government's behavior. And why should Americans support their own government in the first place? It's the COUNTRY that deserves the support. Government - only when it deserves it.
@1XMarksSpot The government is the organization which defines the country. There is no country without the government. Policies can be opposed, but "the push" goes beyond policy and demands revolution, when simply electing people who agree with you would work. The propaganda claims to be pro-constitution, yet advocates overthrowing constitutional government. This is clearly an attack on the USA, not merely its policies.

@eBe4IXcept I agree with you,but we wouldn't have enough money to buy the sneakers made in America. And would we be willing to pay a lot more for thing produced in America. workers are going to want at the very least 10.00 hours compare that with what workers get overseas I totally agree with you but we've become spoiled with cheap cramp there has to be a huge perception of whats worth while until we stop coveting stuff things and start respecting our country and our future nothing will change
@GeoSusan You're right that inflation would result. That inlation is now hidden in an overvalued dollar and the budget debt. Unless we can keep borrowing, we will have to choose between austerity and virtual enslavement to the debt and the rise of China and perhaps others to a superior military position, or big inflation and all its problems. I think the inflation choice gives us a better chance of remaining competitive because a slow bleed produces fewer opportunities.
Remember when this country had balls? Remember when America meant something? You can only watch about that in movies and read about it in the history books.
When are you people going to stop your partisan bickering and recognize the true enemy? Obama is a puppet of the globalist bankers in the same way that Bush was. For those of you who don't know the history of the Federal Reserve Bank, please research it. The small cabal of private bankers who control the money supply have utilized their scam of imposing onerous debt on countries around the world for many years, all with the goal of consolidating power. They are now coming for Europe and the U.S.
You know what irritates me more than anything is that we have all these politicians and only a few can stand up to the truth. @Polydynamix ...not our fault they broke it but we will have to pay for it. Wait till mortugages and credit card interest rates go up. Will be bad....... China just said their not lending the US any more money too
@TheRetiredtrucker Well I can't say I'm sad about not having any more china loans. The more money we get from china, the more we owe them and we don't need that.
The Chinese want us to raise interest rates and cut our military and social programs. Instead we should print up the money we owe them and put it on a boat to China. If the borrowing can't continue, we're better off sticking it to the Chinese then putting them in charge of the world.
See I knew America should have defaulted on its loans but now the Illuminati government fucked over the people again by raising the debt ceiling to gain trillions of more dollars and still get America's credit rating downgraded and still will cause futher credit downgrading in the future. The Obama supporters who cursed at me telling me to shut the fuck up I get the last laugh at those dumb bitches
@vycaso The dumb bitches are the one's complaining and not doing anything to get these progressive/socialist/communist bastards out of power. Call write demonstrate until your rep gets the message. March on DC if you can , on Labor Day.
@1Makyo Your right we need to rally together on Labor day to impeach Obama. Obama don't work for the people he works for the Illuminati. We have to do this.
yea they are worried cuz they are gonna get a pay decrease. they have to go for the G5 jet without the cup holders instead of the G5 jet with the cup holders.
When our government is done fucking us we'll be able to look up our asshole and see the light of day. 1991 crash, 2001 crash, 2008 crash, 2011 crash, 2012 crash and burn. We don't have any money because it doesn't exist, we've been sold out by the corporations, our politicians have been bought and paid for and European Banks own our ass. Now interest rates will rise, inflation will go up 10 percent and layoffs will increase. Way to go Congress, China and Russia love you. Police State coming.
@nucsol Nice try. You left out the source of our dilemma. You forgot to mention the progressives in government, the socialists, you know, the one's who hate business, who hate capitalism, who want to tax and regulate all profit making businesses out of existence in the US, those are the root cause of our problems. You guys are winning. The US is failing.
@1Makyo I believe that to be our government, they all suck and so I did not leave out the source of our dilemma. They do nothing for the American People and your point is that they are equal opportunity fuckers. The root cause of the problem is Greed. Read "Animal Farm" and you'll get to see how the story of America ends.
YOU OBAMINATION ARE THE ONE THAT THOUGHT THAT YOU COULD SOLVE THIS DEBT BY ADDING MORE YOU WORTHLESS HUMAN BEING NO, PERFORMING MONKEY NO, THIEF OF THE AMERICAN DREAM NO, THE WORST PRESIDENT IN HISTORY!!!! MAY YOUR NAME NEVER HAVE ANYTHING GOOD BEHIND IT! YOU WORTHLESS, ARROGANT, WORTHLESS MAN!!! GOVERNMENT, THE SAME CAN BE SAID ABOUT YOU, PEOPLE OF AMERICA THE SAME CAN BE SAID ABOUT YOU COMPLACENT IGNORANT FOOLS!!
@LoveMurderinSnitches You might just be on to something? The solution seems to be the problem, so kill the solution and solve the problem. I think it best that the American People have the privilege of doing the honors though. When they get good and fed up? They'll come together for a good Pig Roast, wouldn't take more than a couple of days if you have about 100 million pissed off, gun toting, live free or die motherfuckers on a rampage. Could be fun?
@Angelsigns2012 Hahahaha. Keep it up. Corporations are not hiring for several reasons. One is the cost of doing business, the cost of labor. Unions don't help the US in any way shape or form.Another is the cost of compliance with regulations, such as environmental regulations. Another possible reason for corporations not expanding in the US is taxation. If I were CEO of a large multi-national corporation, and if I were interested in profit (nasty word to these progressives) I wouldn't hire US
@Angelsigns2012 Anyway. Nothing new here. Common sense and a little business acumen dictates that business is not welcome in the US. This government has done more than anyone ever before to drive business, and the jobs they provide, AWAY from the US. It will continue until we get rid of this straight up bozo, Harvard dork, pussy little faggot of a Liar-in-Chief. Impeach him now.
The only way to fix this is to give WallStreet ANOTHER stimulus bail-out. Cocaine is not cheap, nor are $10,000-a-throw hookers. If WallStreet doesn't get a few trill more as a shot in the arm, the country's credit rating might suffer again. Same for taxing the rich. People think that asking mega-corporations to pay their fair share of taxes would hurt our dependable "trickle down" economy that has done so much for us. Keep trickling.
And don't tax mega-churches, either. Jesus needs your money.

The Chinese want us to raise interest rates and cut our military and social programs. Instead we should print up the money we owe them and put it on a boat to China. If the borrowing can't continue, we're better off sticking it to the Chinese then putting them in charge of the world.

Government run corporations are definitely the answer. Just look at GM. Look at the sales of the volt while you are at it.

Fuck the Chinese. Monetize the debt.
eBe4IXcept 6 months ago
@eBe4IXcept Try to keep up. QE1 abd QE2 were about monetizing the debt. QE3 is in the works. Relax. Enjoy. While ye may.
1Makyo 6 months ago
@1Makyo It's not about enjoying anything. It's about shaping the new world realities now that the old game is ending.

See I knew America should have defaulted on its loans but now the Illuminati government fucked over the people again by raising the debt ceiling to gain trillions of more dollars and still get America's credit rating downgraded and still will cause futher credit downgrading in the future. The Obama supporters who cursed at me telling me to shut the fuck up I get the last laugh at those dumb bitches
vycaso 6 months ago
@vycaso The dumb bitches are the one's complaining and not doing anything to get these progressive/socialist/communist bastards out of power. Call write demonstrate until your rep gets the message. March on DC if you can , on Labor Day.
1Makyo 6 months ago
@1Makyo Your right we need to rally together on Labor day to impeach Obama. Obama don't work for the people he works for the Illuminati. We have to do this.

@nucsol War on corporations is what has caused this. Not smart to bite the hand that feeds you.
1Makyo 6 months ago
@nucsol Nice try. You left out the source of our dilemma. You forgot to mention the progressives in government, the socialists, you know, the one's who hate business, who hate capitalism, who want to tax and regulate all profit making businesses out of existence in the US, those are the root cause of our problems. You guys are winning. The US is failing.
1Makyo 6 months ago
@1Makyo I believe that to be our government, they all suck and so I did not leave out the source of our dilemma. They do nothing for the American People and your point is that they are equal opportunity fuckers. The root cause of the problem is Greed. Read "Animal Farm" and you'll get to see how the story of America ends.

Corporations today are sitting on trillions and not hiring because CONgress is creating the atmosphere of uncertainty.
Angelsigns2012 6 months ago
@Angelsigns2012 Hahahaha. Keep it up. Corporations are not hiring for several reasons. One is the cost of doing business, the cost of labor. Unions don't help the US in any way shape or form.Another is the cost of compliance with regulations, such as environmental regulations. Another possible reason for corporations not expanding in the US is taxation. If I were CEO of a large multi-national corporation, and if I were interested in profit (nasty word to these progressives) I wouldn't hire US
1Makyo 6 months ago
@Angelsigns2012 Anyway. Nothing new here. Common sense and a little business acumen dictates that business is not welcome in the US. This government has done more than anyone ever before to drive business, and the jobs they provide, AWAY from the US. It will continue until we get rid of this straight up bozo, Harvard dork, pussy little faggot of a Liar-in-Chief. Impeach him now.

OH NOW YOU ASSHOLE ARE WORRIED??!?!?

The only way to fix this is to give WallStreet ANOTHER stimulus bail-out. Cocaine is not cheap, nor are $10,000-a-throw hookers. If WallStreet doesn't get a few trill more as a shot in the arm, the country's credit rating might suffer again. Same for taxing the rich. People think that asking mega-corporations to pay their fair share of taxes would hurt our dependable "trickle down" economy that has done so much for us. Keep trickling.
And don't tax mega-churches, either. Jesus needs your money.
