I don't think the English dubs like this. If they actually interact with their co-stars, they might be able to increase their acting skills. I seen the Behind scenes of US dubbing and they are in their own areas and do the roles separately, some still are great but doing this might've helped a few dubs.

wow full of win. ive recently started participating in community radio, that wasnt hard enough recording skits properly, i cant imagine how it is working in tandem with other seiiyuus simultaneously very fast speeds (anime pacing). The Japanese seiiyuus obviously capture the raw emotion and the original thoughts conveyed by the manga writer. its obviously harder for other cultures eg english portuguese filipino to dub since the culture, context, object, topic differences are so vast
