Can you drink it like regular water? And is it true if you drink alot of it your breath pee & pooh and body sweat smell like roses? These is a bet i have with my sister. I say no way!
that has to be the worst mint julep ever.... you want to wake the mint up, by clapping it in your hands... you dont want to crush it.... Chlorophyll is bitter.... you dont want that flavour in the drink....
hey Just for some more info on Rose Water , The rose water available in the market are of 2 types Synthetic and natural . its is very important for you to use the natural rose ONLY for cooking purpose .
I thought you were going to be making orange juice with mint and I was all: YUK! Thats because where I live, we have these rare 50s style drive in diners shaped like huge orange domes called Orange Julep and they are famous for their (supposedly) freshly squeezed orange juice. If you google ''orange julep'' you will see what im talking about.
Rose water mint julep? Clever Dan. But what if you subbed the powdered sugar with honey, and add a wee bit of lemon bitters? Make it Arabian-style. But really that part of the world is mostly "dry" so its kind of ironic, no?

@socalkev Probably. But you'll develop thorns too.

@socalkev rose water lowers your blood pressure, so drinking a whole ton of it in one go isn't advised.
