when you work on building up your abs you should also just focus in on the muscles under your visible abs that work subconsciously to pull your stomach in. stomach vacuums do fine
I read on t-nation that you wont get cinder block abs from training abs hard. If im not mistaken christian thibadeu even wrote you can have an entire day working abs without looking stupid. Personally I think its only if you have a lot of water weight or are on roids that it will look ridiculous.

I think you're confusing growth hormone abs with regular muscular abs. Scooby uses resistance training and has large defined ab muscles, but it's not like a protruding pregnant thing (like HGH using bodybuilders).

i have been researching this recently purely as i think it will save me ALOT of money with my workouts. i'm lactose intolerant so i was advised to drink soy milk instead to avoid the stomach upset..apparently i can get the same amount of protein from soya as i would from whole milk didnt think too much of this until i saw SOYA PROTEIN POWDER..started doing my research and apparently it is just as good if not better than whey protein plus its "whey cheaper" << get it ;) thumbs up for a responce

abs is a muscle too and it will grow the bigger you get. You cant be 220 and up and still have the same size abs. should be little direct work to the abs since its the most used muscle in all of your training

And they do not squat or deadlift, so they don't need as much core strength.
