  • @5tarScream I have never had that happen. Strange. Is it a new model with the 2.4 ghz Link? Because those have failsafe built in, no need to adjust or activate. Its all automatic that would deff. help you. Like 45 bucks

  • How to tune it?

  • if you put new tires on, MAKE SURE TO GLUE THEM RIGHT!!!! dont wanna do what i did and fuck em up... lol

  • this or hpi firestorm

  • love the video and love my jato as well.

  • what battery pack were you using?

  • I need help my Jato 3.3 brakes doesnt function!!

  • Pulled this from the online jato 3.3 manual. "Automatic Fail-Safe The TQ 2.4GHz transmitter and receiver are equipped with an automatic failsafe system that does not require user programming. In the event of signal loss or interference, the throttle will return to neutral and the steering will hold its last commanded position. If Fail-Safe activates while you are operating your model, determine the reason for signal loss and resolve the problem before operating your model again."
  • its built in to the tg 2.4 radio

  • Do you work for Venom Racing.? If not, I am sure they appreciate your free advertisement.

  • it comes with a spring fail safe

  • Hey if your tired of carrying around that battery pack and charging em all the time, and you have the money, you should look into the 3.3 motor with the recoil pull starter! Starts right off the bat with the spark plug heater (which yea you gottta charge and carry it with you but its alot smaller and eisier to deal with than the batterys). Plus it makes the car lighter becuase you remove the auto starter from your car. Anyways thanks for the tips!

  • holy shti thats what that extra compartment is for?! LOL i was baffled by why traxxas put that there and for what. now i know! thanks!

  • just got mine today and crashed it, broke the whole front end on the first tank after break in, went and got parts and got it fixed.

    Nice vid

  • @Truckingboards Maybe you should have been more carefull :P

  • expectin mine by delivery friday !

  • what a kawinkydink! i had my jato for 1 week too!

  • Cool! That good thing to do that.

  • great little vid

  • is it hard to drive?

  • i got a jado 3.3 a couple of weeks ago, and that thing kicks ass, their very durible. anone that says different probably has a $20 tyco.

  • def not durable there are some fualts with the plastic like the cross bar the looseness in the a arms and the steering system fals in them after time requiring an upgrade!

  • putting the battery pack in the other place so then you dont do wheelies all the time does it totally make it from doing wheelies like when you slam the gas from a dead stop will it do a wheelie or not? reply back please thank you

  • Hey if u make more videos of the Jato... i would like to see some walk arounds of it... all the vids of the jato are about speed passes... im gettin 2 soon and i wanna see the Pros and cons i wanna see how you like it.. please mak enothe vid about that Thnx!

  • why? is it unreliable?

  • @IANBUFFTON No, ive got the jato, funnest little thing ever! you should get 1!

  • sorry wrong person

  • do u need a failsafe for a jato ??? help???

  • you should get a fail safe for ANY rc nitro car lol. itll save you the price of the car over and over..

  • you dont "need" one but you should. but im warning you. if your voltage runs low or you loose signal. and if your going WOT the jato will keep going WOT till it hits something or just flips and burns the engine. so its recommended but you dont need to have one to run your nitro rc

  • nope

  • wat is a fail safe please reply i want to get a jato and everybody is talking about the failsafe

  • a fail safe is a little electric thing that puts the engine on to the brakes if ur batteries run outta juice or u loss signal. it does this so ur jato doesnt just drive off uncontrolably into a wall. there like 20 bucks and about 1 sq. inch

  • thank u=)

  • oh yea its 20 bucks, and i svaes a 330 doller car! lol

  • warning dont get a jato unless spending money is your thing

  • thats awesome man, i just bought a jato and i love it! def make more vids showing it off, i know i will! :)

  • I don't think he said it came with a failsafe, I think he bought one! I love my Jato and my Revo, Jato is fun in short grass and pavement and Revo for all else. I really like that Venom thing you got there, I have the venom battery pack for the servos.

  • jato does NOT come wiv a failsafe

  • i sent you a vid on the vemon temp things.. they are wrong!!!! watch it

  • thats video suck !

  • shut the fuck up u stupid fag there is nothing wrong with that vid read all the other comments-notice how ur the only dumb ass hater here

  • only the revo came out with built in failsafe m8, the jato has never been released with a built in failsafe, so yes its a great idea to have 1 for the jato caus if u do loose transmission it will stop and not race of at 65 mile + and break lol KEEP BASHING :)

  • you do not need a fail safe nit comes with one it is in the electronic box if u whant to look lol

  • I looked and did not see one, I did not see in the instructions where it came with one either. Has anyone else got one that came with it?

  • yeah me and my friend it does not look like a regular fale safe it is that little silver chip and that it is what the guy at the hooby shop said

  • the silver chip is a crystal u have one in your remote to that receive signal from ur remote

  • does not

  • is that the jato platinum? or the regular jato? my regular jato doesnt have a stock fail safe..

  • no jatos come with a fail safe. you need to buy one separately.

  • LOL the "silver chip" is the transmitter/reciever crystal for your freq!

  • @zwebster12 no thats called the reciever, traxxas doesnt need fail safe they all have return springs to keep the throttle closed, so if your batteries die it goes back to idle..that simple

  • @BricelyD My brother's Jato battery died today and it went full throttle. After a quick charge, it was fine. I'm thinking it does need a failsafe.

  • i love jatos i have 1 also its custom

  • all ya really need is fail safe and temp. got my ofna fail safe for 19 bucks and temp gauge for 17. wat was yurs $45

  • I got Mine for $39. I like how It will automatically slow me down for temp, that way I don;t have to keep bringing it in just to check it, if it dont slow down I know I am ok.
