This isn't just the UK's largest travelling funfairs, it's one of EUROPE'S largest travelling funfairs... and what really strikes me is that, apparently this "Hull Fair" started ... oh, not that long ago... 1293!!!!!!! <_< I wonder what was considered a "fair" back in the 13th century? Yes is was 1293, as in 1993 it celebrated its SEVEN HUNDREDTH anniversary o_O

Depends how you view it. Town moor wins on acreage. Nottingham wins on money taken and Hull wins on the number of machines present.
