mr levon3585! nice one man i really want to watch more of this! can you post the episodes? im sure most of us would want some backgorund on ol' Dunbine here :-D
You know, for once I've got to agree that the majority of the voice actors did a pretty good job. Although I'm the kind of person that if a single VA has a bad voice actor, it ruins the entire thing for me. I usually just stick with original voice track on everything I watch to avoid situations like this.
Maybe its because its on the computer or something but when I watch on my TV the voices sound very clear while the old mono sound effects & music sounded muffled. Which is why it sounds odd when a new voice track is recorded with old mono music & sound effect track.
The dubbing isn't nearly as bad as I thought. I read that this anime falls apart at the second half of the series. Still, this looks worth watching 10 episodes.
As for the 2nd half, I wouldn't say it "falls apart", in many ways it gets better where the plot thickens and a lot more new great characters enter the story.
Its just that during the 2nd half the war enters UpperEarth which isn't as interesting as the fantasy setting of Byston Well. But its still good regardless.

Why is anime dubbing always being done by dumbasses? This sounds like crap. Anime is supposed to be watched in Japanese and Japanese only.

It may be old-school, but the mix of fantasy/sci fi is still awesome.

I'm very very glad, and respect that they kept the original score.
I personally prefer the Japanese voices.
The Wetern voices aren't bad at all, but seem to have been recorded in a low tech studio...
Great upload - thanks :)

The dub is mixed, I'd say the main cast usually sounds pretty good(especially the bad guys) but a lot of the nobody characters can sound really weak.
However the battles are much more enjoyable in the dub because its 2.0 surround sound rather than flat mono like the Japanese track.
