  • This album is a masterpiece..buy it on vynyl...keep it cool, safe and dry.

  • Awesome song. To bad the two deuches below spend all their time masterbating to pictures of other people's mothers.

  • @KurrentEvents Yes, masterbating...

  • You didn't leave me anything that I can understand

  • Forgive me for the mispelling of the word walked across the seats of people just to shake my hand, it was totally cool. Paul E. Larson. I grew up on the Furs.

  • I had seen them live at Universas Amphitheater, Butler actually walket across the seats to

just shake my hand. I was really trripping. Ha, Ha, Ha. Paul E. Larson.

  • Richard Butler is a fucking poet.

  • My friends got excited when they heard Jay z from the add...then got disappointing when the real song came on .....fml

  • @JBHoughtaling Your friends are complete idiots, time to find new ones.

  • @JBHoughtaling Wanker.

  • Miss them and those days. They were great!

  • anyone reckon butler bearsd more than a passing resemblance to alan rickman both in looks and voice?

  • One of the best bum out pop songs, of the last twenty years, The Psych Furs make the bum out so cool--Richard Butler is aging well, like David Niven

  • Hi Bish, you are in for a treat mate, they were even better than i could have imagined! They came on at 9 and played the whole talk talk talk album, took a short break then came back and played for about another 45 minutes. They looked like they were having just the best time ever. The lead singer never stopped jumping around, he was ace. The line up had the original lead, bass and Sax, The drummer was also very very good!

  • Venue was pretty cool also. Never been before. It's an old night club right in the centre of Manchester, with sticky carpets and all :o) and great views from the balcony. It was a really good atmosphere, very well attended and a perfect venue for this type of gig.

have a blast you will just love it!

  • I love the PF because they were the kings of Romantic Remote Absurdity! A key element of 80's new wave. enigmatic and alluring to a Tom Tom beat! "A handle to a door", "A telephone that lies" . These are like the candy roses on an aloof titalation Cake of discconected Love! Spin me around spin me a round! I'm beautifully Lost! YEAH!

  • I'm off to see these guys also for the first time tomorrow evening at the Ritz in Manchester, can't wait :o)

  • They got lumped in with alot of the electronic bands of the 80's but to me they just rocked. I didnt like this album the first few times I heard it but now realize it's their best. Hope to see them the next time they visit Florida

  • sounds better than ever-thanks my freind.

    x

  • always great.............................

  • Ah, it's just so cool to hear this again and it sounds even better now!

  • My girlfriend dumped me 2 months ago :(

  • @polyp Mine did eight months ago and it still feels like last week, when does it get better?

  • @Rawlinson18 Sorry to hear that, pal. How long were you going out?

  • @polyp Lived with her for ten years, still friends and all that but still miss her, just takes time i suppose.

  • Like poetry.

  • the guy in the lower left hand corner looks more maniacal than Tom Cruise

  • sounds great even after 20 some years they were great!

  • God this still sounds so good

  • This is dedicate to my uni-fellow Giovanni who likes PF a lot and died for leukemia before graduation

    augh

  • First listen, I love it

  • definitely the top album of '81...this was their peak...afterwards a dismal series of shitty albums with a few stand-out singles in the following years..

  • talk talk talk was THE album.. after the 'pretty in pink' movie they had some pressure to become more commercial and relented, churning out vapid pop like 'heartbreak beat', etc

  • @zwartepiet412 i like all their albums, i dont think i'm too good to like heartbreak beat, which is a great song and production.. pretty in pink is by no means a good song though =/

  • I discovered Furs in the mid-80s as an 18 yr old. I was certifiably off my rocker, as were most of my black-draped, crazy-haired friends. I hear this for the first time in several years right now, and a few hairs of instability stand up on the back of my neck. It was like a brief volt of crazed, excited, naive youth that tickled the nerves in this now calm, middle-aged mom & wife. Thanks for posting!

  • When compared to Pretty in Pink,Love my way adn the other Psy furs "hits' This blows 'em outta the water!!!

  • This was the jam. Good to hear it again...

  • thanks for posting

  • y'all really enjoy this song & want make it longer you can mix the ending in to the beginning, it works remarkably, top top track cheers

  • Thanks for posting this one, I went to sleep to this or Forever Now for years every night... (Sleep come down...)

Wasn't so great when I lived it... But it's so worth the price of admission.

Now I'm left with all of this, A room full of your trash

  • @InefficiencyExpert Saw them during the Forever Now tour in Houston at the Music Hall..THEY WERE AWESOME!! Butler gave a captivating vocal performance!!

  • A band at their collaborative peak at this point. A wonderful, wonderful song, reminds me of being twenty.

  • Man, this song kills me. It's been a while since I've listened to it.

I was a huge fan of this band in the early '80s and saw them in '84. I remember it being a great show and Butler was electrifying to watch.

  • Beautiful song! Thank's for putting this at Youtube.

  • It's tracks like this that made them legends, pity about the commercial pap that came later. This track is about as good as it gets.

  • Siete riusciti ad entrare.....????......

  • I've seen the original Furs lineup in early 80's at the Ritz, NCY...great vocals, sax, everything..most of my fav bands I've seen live

  • I used to listen to this album over and over while at university getting my Business Degree.

I am now the President of a financial company and still listen to this stuff.

    Just great music.

  • A phonebook full of accidents

  • Great song thanks for posting! This is one of my alltime favorite songs of thiers. I love all their in studeo recorded stuff. I've never been happy with their live stage performances. So I am disapointed when people keep posting their live stuff. Richard Butler sounds awsome in studeo / on CD but live he comes off as totally tone deaf. I hate to sound insulting because I tend to think of Richard Butler as one of my favorite singers. But wow he sucks on stage.

  • caught then live just the other nite in orlando florida and he was awesome, better than he was when i first saw them in the 80,s,great stage presents

  • @davidscalling I guess with live stuff its all about being there, not so much about the sound quality
